In all honesty I have never been a gym-going-type of guy...although I liked to exercise i always preferred doing a sport and not just Go to the gym. I stopped exercising 20 years ago and needless to say i am really out of shape. My two young children (7 & 8) demand a lot of energy and I needed to find a way to get in shape and not get bored. My son and I have been watching MMA a lot and he got the itch for kickboxing (I practiced TKD for 6 yrs as a teenager and my daughter has been in cheer for 1yr now, but i will not be a cheerleader ) so i started looking for a place close to home that would provide what my son wanted and maybe I could join a class at the same time to spend time with him and get in shape at the same time....and Pinnacle was there! We tried it, he loved it and I did too. The place is nice, lots of space for whatever you're doing (Training camp, BJJ, BOX, Muay Tai) and the staff is even better...they are all very nice and supportive, although when it comes to training they kick butt. been there for two weeks now, my son absolutely loves it and I am sore in places i did not know could be sore....but I can see my body working,..i have sweated as I had never done it before! and I am not bored! i like the enthusiasm of the trainer and all that participate in the class!! read more

I've been training at Pinnacle Training Center for over a year now and this facility has made a profound effect on my life. All of the instructors here, no-matter what classes you attend, are very patient and passionate and help you to reach your own goals. When I first started training here I had the goal in my mind to become a competitive fighter, and honestly I had no idea what I was doing. My Muay Thai and fight team instructors helped me reach my goal, and I was able to fight 5 times in 2013! I was amazed at being able to see my own self improvement and see myself excel. I joined a bootcamp class in April of 2013 and I have been hooked since then! As an avid runner, I blindly thought this was the best form of exercise for my body. I was able to keep weight off, however I could never seem to achieve the results I wanted with certain parts of my body. After just a few weeks, I began to notice new muscles, better tone and improved physical fitness. Nine months later I am in the best shape of my life. Aside from the results, I love this gym for several other reasons. The staff/trainers are incredible. Each one provides a unique and different method of training and motivation. Muscle confusion is key to results and these guys/girls know how to get it done! Additionally, I love my gym mates! Everyone who I've trained with has become a friend. Though everyone comes from different walks of life, we support and encourage each other like family. I haven't experienced this level of comradery and I wouldn't trade it for anything! If I am going to get up and go somewhere to work out at 515 in the morning, it had better be good and Pinnacle Training offers that. The morning boot camps are excellent and a great way to start your day. Elda and Jon are the trainers i have worked out most with in the mornings and i can promise you they are gonna make it worth your time and effort being there at 515am. i have also taken BJJ here. The BJJ classes are taught by instructors who are passionate about the sport and want you to succeed. I have also done personel training at Pinnacle. I enjoyed my personal training sessions with Elda. She was very passionate about helping me meet my goals and pushing me to new limits (i can do pull ups!) Overall, my experience at Pinnacle has been one of personal growth and strength. I know I am a stronger version of myself because of what I have done here! Best Kids Classes Anywhere! Can't say how grateful I am to the Kid's Muay Thai and Kid's Boxing coaches. The only sport we had tried before Pinnacle was TKD and found the instructor rude and environment uninviting. I asked my child if they would be willing to try again. This time boxing at Pinnacle. My previously ipod couch potato child wanted to immediately sign up and has gone to a minimum of 3 classes per week since the first class 3 months ago. The results have been amazing physically, mentally, and socially. The coaches push the kids just enough that they get better but not so much they feel intimidated. I love this place! After being away from Jiu Jitsu for nearly 8 years and gaining a considerable amount of weight, I was needless to say a bit anxious about stepping back onto the matts. The experience here has been nothing short of fantastic. Training partners with great attitudes, where everyone is encouraging, having fun, and working very hard with a lot of focus. I have only good things to say about this gym. All of the instructors are very knowledgeable and great teachers. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner and just want to get in shape, or an experienced fighter preparing for an upcoming fight, Pinnacle has everything to offer. I have had the pleasure of training all over the state of Texas (both with pro fighters and amateur), and Pinnacle ranks at the top of the list. It has great space and equipment. Pinnacle has lots of heavy bags in the Muay Thai room, lots of mat space for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and a ring for sparring. It is a kid friendly gym and a great place to start training for the first time. I have been a member of Pinnacle for 2 years and have yet to do the same workout twice. That, in itself is motivation enough to keep coming back. Pinnacle Training Center is amazing! I have been going to Pinnacle Training Center for roughly 3 months now and it's been one of, if not the best experiences that I've had. The trainers are all very serious and passionate about what they do but more importantly they want to know about you and your personal goals. I have been attending Pinnacle Training Center(formerly Austin Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu) and it the best gym I have been to. I had enrolled in their muay thai program not knowing any kickboxing at all and let me say, their Instructors really help and break it down for you.I have been to other bjj and kickboxing gyms and I have definitely felt the most growth training here. Being at Pinnacle really helped gain my confidence as well as shed my weight. I started going to Pinnacle's Muay Thai classes after deciding that I wanted to try a new type of workout. I enjoyed my first class & continued to attend classes after. Several months later, I am still enjoying every class & learning a ton. Each class offers something different & my fitness level is much higher than it was before I started. For someone like me that has been boxing and training for a large part of his life, PTC provides an excellent environment with high level Muay Thai Kickboxing and boxing training. They have an amazing team that makes you feel like family and I highly recommended them for competitive fighters and athletes. Pinnacle Training Center is an awesome locally owed facility that the family and I have been members of for nearly 6 months. My daughter has been taking the evening children's Jiujitsu classes and loves the setup and teachers. I have been doing morning bootcamp/kickboxing and have never been in better shape. The staff is helpful and experienced and the members motivate each other. We looked at several other Martial arts and fitness academy's in the Cedar Park/Leander area and none of them compared to Pinnacle Training Center. read more

What a great gym is all I have to say. I started training BJJ about a month ago and I am hooked. The level of instruction is great, the classes are fairly small and the other members (whether BJJ or not) have all been very welcoming. The BJJ workouts are grueling and tough (I have lost 10 pounds in my first month) but I look forward to every class. The schedule is very accomadating and the feeling of community at the gym is incredible. I dont miss my days of lifting weights at the big corporate gyms at all. read more

Took my boyfriend there to train for his upcoming fight this month and I loved it! The gym was very nice the employees were welcoming and offered me to sit in on the class. The set up of the gym was simple but effective and spacious. The trainer gave my boyfriend guys to grapple with that would challenge him instead of easier guys, which was really good! A friend told me about a gem of a gym, Pinnacle Training Center! The trainers and classmates are very supporting and motivating. The trainers watch your form as if you have a personal trainer yet in the group setting, it is comforting to be with others.
