This gym is absolutely gorgeous. There are so many amenities (that I saw while getting the tour). However, I went as a classpass user and only had access to the workout classes I signed up for. My friend invited me over for a yoga class here and it was an exceptional experience! The facility seems to have expanded recently so it looks brand new, the interior is seriously stunning! The bathrooms are huge, aesthetic black and white, very clean and so resourceful! You've got everything from hair ties to dry shampoo which is so considerate. The staff was so kind and the yoga instructor took us through each flow very patiently before speeding it up. I loved her cheerfulness throughout and how spacious the yoga studio was. Outstanding facility and staff. Clean gym and has everything you need in one place. The wellness center is a highlight for me but their classes are just as outstanding with great coaches. Norma one of their managers is awesome, welcoming and always willing to go the extra mile to explain how everything works. Highly recommend LAC! read more

Prior to LAC, I was never a group class kind of gal but it's so different here. The environment is amazing, trainers are motivating, and they really treat you like family! All levels of fitness are welcome here and it's very non-judgmental. The members all encourage each other and classes are fun. I always look forward to coming. The best gym ever .the best sauna infra red ever. I am routine to get sauna infrared 4 times in one week,each time 45 minutes. Now I can feel the benefits of that treatment. My blood pressure is normal,easy to sleep and my skin is more soft and bright clean. Very very recommended. read more

I have tied big gyms and can never stay motivated or figure out what I should be doing. We I went to visit LAC I explained this to them and they said that they had some really fantastic trainers that lead the classes and motivate you all the time. I tried the free trial class and I had Kadi as a trainer. After the workout I know that was one of the best workouts I have ever had. I signed up immediately!!! I am very impressed with how clean and impressive this place is. I have never seen so much top of the line equipment in one place. I have been going for a few weeks and have not even used all the equipment in the building yet. From what management is telling me phase 2 is coming and it is supposed to take it to another level. I hear they will have health and wellness area to help in recovery and wellness. Can't wait!!!! I have found my new gym. read more

I am from California and I currently work out at a crossfit gym. Yet I was still pretty intimidated to go to a gym in Texas because I have heard the workouts are much more intense than what I am used to. However, I wanted to stay consistent with my workout during my vacation and I wanted to find one that allowed drop ins. I was planning on attending a different gym but couldn't find it and to be honest I am so glad I didn't. From the start LAC was amazing. My first work out was free and it was $25 for each additional day. Amanda Anderson works the front explaining everything I needed to do with nothing but genuine kindness. Kadi-Rae Carr is the trainer who develops all of the workouts. Kadi made sure to ask about any injuries or mobility problems before the workout began. She explained each movement and made sure our form was on point. I can not say enough about my experience at Leander Athletic Club. I know when I visit again I will be sure to come back to LAC. And if I move to Texas I will make sure that I live close enough to make LAC my new gym. XOXO read more

This group circuit class is exactly what I needed. I was prescribed exercise to help with chronic back pain and joined LAC knowing I could only commit to one class per week with my busy schedule. I've been coming once per week for over two months and I couldn't be happier with my progress. The exercises are super-functional. My back pain was gone after two weeks. My blood sugar levels improved after a month. I look better in the mirror. A++ and a fan for life. read more

As a former college athlete, I was missing the group workout setting but I never liked cross fit. If you're looking to lift in a programmed setting with enough variety to keep it interesting AND make you strong, then this is the perfect combo of strength training and conditioning for you. Great mix of traditional lifts and supportive accessory movements that are so important for overall health/mobility.
