The BEST spa experience in all of LA -- hands down! I've tried several places around Los Angeles, and nothing even comes close to Soul Spa in Santa Monica. This place is truly on another level. I went with my mom and my best friend, and we all walked out saying the exact same thing: this is the best of the best. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is calming, the staff is welcoming, and the whole experience feels thoughtfully designed. We each had different therapists, and every single one of them was incredible: * Maxim -- gave me one of the most relaxing, skillful massages I've ever had * Delena -- my friend couldn't stop talking about how amazing she was * Lan -- my mom absolutely loved her and felt so cared for It's rare to find a spa where every therapist is exceptional, but Soul Spa truly delivers. If you're looking for a place that combines professionalism, warmth, and real healing energy, this is it. We're already planning our next visit. Highly, highly recommended. read more

this is my third time coming here. I've enjoyed every single time and the place is clean and staff are kind. however I do want to point out that they use Lysol wipes to wipe you down after the massage. That is very strange and I think you all should look into using warm towels instead because Lysol wipes, some people may be alleric and they are drying . At least let your customers know that you are using Lysol wipes. read more

Masseuse used cold towel at the beginning, lacked technique and almost took off my index finger trying to crack my fingers. When I yelped in pain, she tried to grab my hand again to massage it. I had to ask her to not touch my finger. I got the deep tissue with hot stone massage and she used one rock at the nape of my neck, period. My friend got the Swedish with hot stone and had similar feedback. Not a legitimate massage studio for sure. read more

Went twice and had a great experience there! The facility looked great and the massage therapists were amazing! Andrew was outstanding, I highly recommend to see him. He has done such an amazing job and went above and beyond implementing variety of techniques. I left feeling like a new person - relaxed and snatched after holding a lot of tension and fatigue in my body. He was so knowledgeable and professional. I could tell he is very passionate about what he does and very educated as well as initiative when it comes to bodywork. Best massage I've ever gotten, definitely will be back! read more

I have been to many massage places , and this met beyond any expectations I could have ever had. From the moment you walk in. It was AMAZING. The oil, the cleanliness , space , parking , and actual masseus was beyond 5 starts. I am obsessed and will be going every single week!! So happy to meet my spot now. Make sure to tip the masseus. I am so excited !! read more

Trigger Warning: SA If I could give a hundred negative reviews I would. So the reason why I choose this place is because it was my partners bday and he wanted to go to the Getty museum since it just reopened due to the fires and this place was really close by. Based on the online reviews, we expected a relaxing and professional experience. When we arrived, the spa appeared clean, charming, and peaceful. The front desk staff were friendly and checked us in quickly. Before the session, I mentioned to one of the front desk attendants that I had a very stiff upper back. She recommended a mix of massage techniques and suggested a male masseuse, Cesar. As a gay man, I generally feel more comfortable with female therapists, but I trusted her recommendation and agreed. The massage started normally, but after some time, I began to notice something disturbing--Cesar's crotch repeatedly brushed against my hands. At first, I tried to dismiss it as unintentional, assuming it was just a result of his positioning. However, when he was massaging my right arm, he again positioned himself so that his crotch was in contact with my hand. This time, when he reached to massage my hand, he squeezed it--forcing me to make direct contact with his crotch. He then had the audacity to ask if I was okay. At that moment, I was in shock, doubting what had just happened and questioning whether I was imagining it. The rest of the massage continued without further incident until he had me turn onto my back. While massaging my chest, he leaned over my head, bringing his face uncomfortably close to mine. At one point, I am almost certain he attempted to kiss me. I turned my head away, deeply disturbed, and at that point, I just wanted the massage to end. I resolved that if anything else inappropriate happened, I would walk out immediately. Thankfully, he did not take it further, and the session concluded. Feeling completely violated and disgusted, I quickly got dressed and headed to the front desk. My heart was racing, but Cesar was still present, so I hesitated to say anything in front of him. When he eventually left, the front desk attendant asked if I wanted to leave a tip. That's when I tried to express what had happened, though I struggled to put my experience into words. The staff member seemed shocked and insisted that nothing like this had ever been reported before. She told me she would contact the owner to see what could be done. However, instead of calling the owner, she went to the back and brought Cesar out, instructing me to repeat my complaint to him directly. This was incredibly inappropriate and retraumatizing. Thankfully, my partner was there to support me, but the entire situation felt mishandled. Unsurprisingly, Cesar denied everything and provided weak excuses. Even more disturbingly, the front desk attendant took his side, reiterating that he had been working there for years without issue. Let me be clear--I know what happened. I know what I felt. No denial or excuse can change that. I was 100% violated. The fact that the staff prioritized protecting an employee over ensuring customer safety is beyond unacceptable. I waited 24 hours for the owner to contact me regarding this incident, but no one ever reached out. This confirms that they care more about their reputation and employees than the well-being of their customers. I want to emphasize that I am not seeking a refund--I could not care less about the $270 I spent on this couples massage. My only concern is holding Cesar accountable so that no one else has to endure what I experienced. It is also worth noting that many positive reviews mention Cesar by name, but almost all of them are from women. This makes me question whether he only targets male clients. Regardless, no one should ever have to experience this. For your safety, I strongly urge you to avoid Soul Spa. This establishment does not take allegations of misconduct seriously, and they are complicit in protecting an employee over ensuring the well-being of their clients. read more

Soul Spa - Checking In with Hershey - Massage Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I had a terrible experience here. The masseuse was utterly inexperienced, and the massage was overpriced.

Update... Yesterday I had a horrendous migraine I called the Soul Spa and lucky me They were available to take me in for a massage. I felt relaxed from the minute I crawled into the plush warm burrito blanket.. So many places don't have a warm environment and you end up shivering on the table which is so counterproductive. She started the massage with a hot warm towel along my back and neck It was so amazing... I was fortunate to land with Athena who had the most intuitive hands. She worked out those knots in my upper back neck and head with such a rhythm that it almost felt like a trans meditation. I walked out feeling so much better and the following day even more so. I'm so grateful to you Soul Spa.. You truly lifted my soul! Escape to Tulum!! This is a slice of Paradise in West LA! Perfect way to unwind! The massage therapist was very in tune and knew exactly how to work that tech neck issue!! read more

I had an AMAZING massage with Cesar today. This place is great. Very clean, friendly, heated massage tables, easy parking (meters out front), and best of all, a wonderful massage. Amazing massage! I had Cesar and it was an excellent massage and very comfortable. I would come back to him and Soul Spa.

Another 5 star review for Cesar. So glad I read reviews to see he specializes in deep tissue. I have a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders and my legs get very sore from working out at the gym and waitressing. I feel so relaxed and my tension is gone. Thank you so much Cesar for your attention to detail and perfect pressure. He really knows what he's doing, highly recommend getting a massage from him. Thank you again!!! read more

I've never seen anything like their behavior ... I have gone to hundreds of massages all over the world and this place is by far the most unprofessional I've ever seen. We walked in and there were two ladies sitting on the chairs with their legs up chilling like they are in their living rooms ... they didn't even get up to greet us and stayed seated ... very conceited ... We booked the massage for 8:00 pm and then she said we have to wait until 8:30 pm because the masseuse was "on his way" ... we let that go and said ok sure ... They left us standing there without catering to us at all and were acting very stuck up ... no thanks. We left right away .... The energy in that place is not right. read more

For the longest I've wanted a true Thai massage. I am a big guy (6ft tall) and I've always wanted someone to throw their body weight into me. Step on me, knee in my back. I wanted it all and I got it at The Soul Spa. Wooo hoo! The staff was friendly, the space is beautiful and really well designed. You feel like you entered a secret meditative oasis and if you couldn't tell the massage was phenomenal. I'll be back! read more

Staff attentive to needs of each client. Perfect background music. Full attention to entire body.

Cesar is the best. I have gone to him several times and he never disappoints. This massage is more relaxing than any of the major spas that also cost a lot more. The facility is small, clean and cozy. I cannot wait to go back! read more

I rarely write Yelp reviews, but I have to for Soul Spa. I received the best massage ever from Lisa the other evening. 90 minute massage with oil & hot stones. And, at such a reasonable price. 10/10 read more

I chose the two-hour signature deep tissue massage with Tylik. I didn't have a massage in a while and I needed treatment of some stiffness issues that had built up over the past months. I have been disappointed by many massage places, because the massages often were too soft. I need a strong massage to losem stiff muscles. Tylik did not disappoint! The massage was very strong. I had to bite the towel a few times, because he really hit the points. That was the kind of positive pain I needed to regain mobility. I felt deeply relieved after the massage and most of my stiff problems were gone. I will surely return. I hope they will be able to keep the very reasonable prices. I could imagine to come frequently for shorter massages to avoid build up of stiffness. If they would sell a 5- or 10-massage pass with discounts (like they do next door at Dance Fit), I would be the first in line to buy a pass :-) read more

It was the best massage of my life. I came in with leg pain that would develop in a plantar faciatis within the next few weeks! But 1 1/2 hours later walked out like newborn! Not to mention the atmosphere, interior design, smell, music etc. It's magical. Don't walk! Run! It will change your life. read more
