Carbonara. Ok, very creamy, a little small
    Lacy D.

Sorza was a lovely experience! We made a reservation for a Sunday evening and I highly recommend you do, too, as it's a small restaurant in a popular location. There was one server for the entire space and she did a pretty good job keeping up with the tables. We split a mozzarella appetizer that was the best we had of the trip - the tomatoes were perfectly ripe, salad was well dressed, and mozz was delicious. I had the scallop risotto and my only gripe is that the scallops continued to cook while sitting on top of the hot risotto so they were overcooked by the time I got to the second one. That was highly disappointing because they were the focal point of the dish. The carbonara was extremely creamy, almost too much, and nicely flavored. We split a creme brulee for dessert and it wasn't my favorite of the trip, but it was still tasty. Overall, pleasant experience. Expect to spend a bit more as it is a pricier restaurant, but the ambiance and tastiness make it worthwhile.

We chose this place for our first night in Paris and were NOT disappointed. Arugula salad, steak, escargot and fish with saffron risotto were all incredible!!!! Small and welcoming restaurant with about 13 tables. It is truly perfect!

Amazing restaurant. We got the burrata salad which was beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. The cherry tomatoes where the best tomatoes I'd ever had. Sweet and juicy with a nice firm bite. We also shared the salmon risotto which had a little bite of foam on top. Just a gorgeous plate. The flavors were lovely and the risotto was cooked just right.

I hid myself from a rain shower into this cozy restaurant. It has a stylish red and black interior. The restaurant itself has four tables where four people can sit. And another six two-seater, which can be grouped as required. It serves menus from noon till 7pm, after which it becomes a (wine) bar. As starter I chose the onion soup with croutons (fried bread) . The finely sliced bread was covered with Parmesan and lying on a bed of onions. And all swimming in a soup. I liked it very much. As main course I chose the dish of the day, which was saffron risotto with king prawns. The rice was creamy and the prawns well cooked. It was a delight. Finally I ordered the Panna Cotta. It came in a big glass. It had a thin top layer of raspberry and another thin layer of orange jam in the middle. The epic conclusion of a great lunch. The starter and main course were just 18€. Pretty reasonable. I would recommend this spot anytime.

Really lovely food, good selection of wine. Affordable - especially if you have the Entré&Plat special between 12h-7pm weekdays.

The gnocchi was incredible, however I didn't enjoy the scallop risotto as much as I would have hoped.

Open kitchen concept where you can see the chefs happily cooking or cooking all stressed out lol. Our server was Izaya very friendly, well spoken and caring. Now food, mama Margherita pizza was freshly made so you have to really wait it out before taking a bite to ensure you don't burn your mouth. Pizza was evenly baked and crust was even yummy. Mozzarella cheese bites were the winner of the evening. So good the crumbs that covered the cheese were just wow. So tasty we ordered 3 servings of it. Tiramisu was one of the dessert options and every bite met all our expectations. The story goes that I and the rest of my Nintendo of America colleagues had just finished up a very exciting business conference with our friends over at Nintendo of Europe. After wrap up, we decided to take a small tour around the lovely city of Paris. I, of course, took note of all of the similarities between the real Paris and the version seen in the Mario Kart Tour mobile game. I have to say, Nintendo hits it out of the park once again. We then decided to stop inside the Gemini, since that seemed to be the only restaurant name that I could pronounce. I decided to order the Truffle Pizza, and since I am from New York, I love a good pizza. The first bite and it was already heaven on earth! Truly authentic French food being served at this wonderful establishment. I am also very glad that the waiters entertained my shenanigans when asking them what they thought about Mother 3. I had a good laugh after they didn't even know what I was talking about. Excellent service, great food, and an overall fantstic time for any Nintendo fan wanting to stop in and admire the beautiful jungles of France. Also, don't forget to check out Pikmin 4, which lands in stores July 21st. Thank you for reading this highly anticipated Reggie Review, and I will see you all another time, Switch fans!

On the other hand, it made me realize that my mother was a terrible cook. Bistro des Augustins is a small, cozy venue offering both indoor seating and terrace seating near Pont Neuf. It serves a small number of curated dishes, including a wonderfully traditional Bistro Gratin in a homey ceramic dish served piping hot with a brown crispy cheesy top, herbs, spices and chicken. You can also get it with salmon. My brothers and I only saw my mother use our gas range to light her cigarettes, sanitize needles to remove our splinters, and make s'mores during the summer months when she couldn't muster the energy to take us 'outside camping.' I mean, all she had to do was borrow a cookbook, which I'm sure were readily available from maybe a neighbor or in any local bookstore or the public library. How hard is that? I was the only kid who brought a can of tuna and his own monogrammed can opener to school every day. Every day. And mom convinced me that the tuna holster she got me for my birthday was cool and hip. I was a naive mercury-filled fool, although I did become a very fast runner in junior high school because of the tuna holster. The interior décor of Bistro des Augustins is informal and vintage bistro style - wooden tables, traditional chalkboard menus, and soft lighting - creating a relaxed and comfy ambiance. My eyes have been opened to what's possible. Thank you Bistro des Augustins for expanding my culinary horizons. Five stars.

THE FOOD ------------------…read more= Fermier - Cheese gratin with chicken was good. Didn't blow me away, but was solid with the creaminess of the sliced potatoes and emmental cheese combined together with mixed vegetables. The cheese was very strong though, so anything else was unfortunately pretty much overpowered by it. Arrived with bread, but it DEFINITELY could use other carb options to sop it all up (e.g., rice???)! = Landais - Cheese gratin with duck. Same comment as the above, except the Landais had egg and goat cheese also mixed in with almost the same ingredients as the Fermier. THE SERVICE ----------------------- + The lone waitress, who also worked the role as greeter, cashier and bartender was friendly. + Food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ = Small, tight restaurant. = Not many tables inside - 6 in total. + Located a few blocks away from the more touristy restaurants, towards the East, on a much quieter street. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Nada.
