    Limoncello shots!

What an amazing find in Paris. Walking distance from the Hyatt Regency. Fresh homemade pasta. I had the saffron and shrimp pasta (picture attached). Also finished my daughter's pesto pasta- also delicious. We were given complimentary sweet potato chips and limoncello shots. Definitely will be back.

Gnocchi quattro formaggi and Lasagna with beef Both amazingly delicious. Tiramisu was out of this world good Service staff very attentive, professional , friendly and knowledgeable about the menu We highly recommend Da Franco And not the last one they took us without a reservation on a busy Sunday night and only a 5 min walk from hyatt regency Etoile Tom &silvia Fusco

This was a great little Italian restaurant. The service was awesome and I would definitely return here again. I would highly recommend the lasagna. It was so light and delicious.

Great food and service! Walked across from Hyatt around 10pm very convenient and was seated right away. Very friendly staff. Cute little Italian restaurant. Had the lasagna and beef grill with glasses of moscato.

After days of French food for both lunch and dinner, we opted for a change of pace on our last night in Paris. We went for Italian. So we went to this restaurant which was highly recommended to us by a trusted Yelp friend in Paris whom I've had the pleasure of meeting in person. It must be a well-loved local gem. Despite the fact that this restaurant was hidden in an obscure and narrow side street away from the vibrant section of Porte Maillot, people didn't seem to have any trouble finding it. The place was completely full on a weekday evening and we managed to score the last available table inside. The place was packed with almost all locals and French was the only language that we could hear. Our server also spoke French to us, so I conversed with him with my mediocre and often broken French and we got along just fine. Spaghetti Puttanesca: Perfectly al dente spaghetti was tossed in a rich and tangy sauce made with fresh tomatoes, olives, capers, garlic, among other goodies. It's the perfect made-from-scratch sauce without a hint of canned stuff or tomato paste. An absolutely delicious and refreshing dish. Scaloppine Alla Marsala: Thinly sliced veal cutlets were drowned in a sea of marsala wine sauce which was reduced nicely to give it a stimulating flavor and a rich aroma. The meat was so tender and the sauce was so yummy. Pair that with a glass of good Chianti and you'll think that Paris is a city in Italy. The best has yet to come - the traditional Tiramisu, served in a bowl, was so smooth, so yummy, so heavenly. It was without a doubt the best Tiramisu that I've ever had. Maybe Paris is indeed a city in Italy...

Based on great reviews, we visited Da Franco. It had very inviting cozy ambience. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful in menu selection in English. Our appetizer was Tomato Mozzarella with Arugula: very refreshing and light peppery flavor, well balanced. Main entry were 1) Fettuccine with white Truffle sauce 2) Rigatoni with crab. Both type of pasta were prepared in perfect texture and tasted full flavored with soothing aroma. We finished off our dinner with Tiramisu: it was presented in cool temperature which perfectly complemented light sweet flavor. By far, best Tiramisu we tasted. Overall, we had great dinner "Experience".

Very trendy restaurant. Hostess/Server was very polite and informative. I decided to have the special, which was a veal served crumbled cheese and a side of pesto bow tie pasta. Food was very tasty and cooked right. House red wine was bold but dry. Overall, experience was nice. 27 euros, for the veal, 2 glasses of wine and bottle of still water. Not bad.

Terrible service. Set a new low, even for Paris. If it wasn't so infuriating, it would be impressive.

When we told the server that there was a rat all he said was "this is Paris" we asked if he could move it and he said "no, this is Paris don't worry." If it was just Paris we wouldn't have had other parisians in the restaurant being freaked out about. I get it we are Americans and aren't used to it, but not even putting the rat outside after we asked them to is awful. We stayed at the restaurant although we shouldn't have. The food took an hour and a half to come out, and the server was pretty awful. Typical for Paris but even worse than usual. The prices were outrageous and the food did not taste good whatsoever. Highly don't recommend this place if you value a good atmosphere without eating next to rats.

We loved the service, attentive, friendly, answering lots of questions. Good wine list. Overall, somewhat expensive, but it's Paris. The carpaccio of beef was great as was the spinach ravioli with truffles. The only "miss" here was that the black truffles seemed to lack power and flavor which they sometimes do. I am not a truffle expert, but sometimes they pack a lot of very good punch and sometimes you can barely taste them, and in this case it was the latter. Feel like we got head-faked into the truffle menu and might have been better off on the regular one. Suggest: smell the truffles when they show them to you and if it's not fairly overpowering, then don't order. The bellinis were fanastic on the other hand. Overall, I'd definitely come back if I want a fancy Italian meal not far from the Champs Elyseees.

They were closed the following day (Sunday) so we were somewhat surprised to be greeted warmly and shown to a table which they made up for us. We were given a couple of menus, and told by our waiter in a nice way that the clock was ticking for the kitchen so we quickly chose a couple of pizzas and a bottle of wine. Having worked in kitchens before, I know first hand that latecomers are not the most welcome by the kitchen staff when they are trying to clean up and get out to enjoy their evening and the following day off. The food was wonderful, pizza dough was crispy, the toppings fresh in spite of the late hour, and the wine was excellent. Now the prices we have come to recognize in our first few days in Paris are pretty steep relative to Vancouver, which is saying something, but we feel we got our monies worth. One thing to remember in France when using a credit card is that you cannot add a tip on the machine, so bring cash with you to tip. If you add it to the bill on the machine the establishment gets the money not the person who waited upon you. Cash goes to them and them alone. We are leaving Paris in the morning and heading back to Fenice again this evening, a little earlier this time to enjoy their fine food one more time. Highly recommended from our first experience, here's hoping for a repeat. Bon appetit! VISIT #2 Ate here a second time while in Paris and were surprised that we were recognized upon our arrival and once again seated at the same table we had had a couple of evenings prior. I can only say that our second experience was even better than our first. Our food was outstanding, the service first class. We only wish we had more nights in Paris to sample more of the menu.

The restaurant did not disappoint. After delicious starters of eggplant, rocket and Parma ham we enjoyed scrumptious mains with veal, beef medallions, lamb and rhombus pasta all thoroughly enjoyed. Service was excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable with a nice ambiance from other guests. I can highly recommend this restaurant.
