Very cute decor.

We made a reservation for dinner on a Saturday night, and we are sure glad we did. Pratolina was bustling with diners when we arrived. I loved the vibe and the trendy decor of the room we were seated in. For dinner, we were craving some pizza and so both hubby and I ordered the margarita pizza. They have their own oven where they cook their pizzas, and let me tell you their pizza is amazing. We would definitely recommend trying any of the pizzas. Their menu also has many pasta dishes to choose from. Luckily, after finishing our individual pizzas, we still had room for dessert. Hubby had their signature tiramisu, which isn't like any other tiramisu you've had. It comes out in a little wooden dish with a pestle. You crack the chocolate top layer with the wooden pestle and dig right in. My husband loved it, even though it was a bit different from the tiramisu he's used to back home. I chose to go with the affogato. Our waitress came over and poured the hot espresso into my cup of vanilla ice cream table side. I liked how the affogato was served in a Moscow mule mug, which kept the ice cream cold. All in all, a terrific dinner at Pratolina, and we highly recommend it if you're looking for some great Italian fare. Just be sure to make a reservation if you're looking to go on the weekend.

Very very good food, great service, friendly to English speakers. The tiramisu is the BEST I have ever had. Great ambience too. I would definitely come back here!

Ate and left no crumbs.

This place is amazing! The food portions are a bit small but the place is finger-licking good! The linguine and the pizzas and truly the best and the tiramisu!

amazing huge salad

Visiting Paris, my French friend took us here. The bread was amazing, made fresh on the 1st floor in this open oven. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable!!! Ivo provided not only legendary service, but was friendly and helped advise us to other places for a fun night out. Between our party of 4, we had salad, pasta and wine and all of us loved our food! My friend loved the pasta--more al dente and very flavorful

Locals suggested we check out the Montmartre neighborhood, and for a change, we decided to try out…read morethe Italian food. Every restaurant setup around this neighborhood felt romantic and had a hole-in-the-wall feel to it. Pebble stone streets elevated that effect. We walked-in around eight when the place was packed and were politely told to return in 30 mins which is when we were promptly seating on our very cozy table. Service was top-notch the minute we walked in this kid-friendly place. Our order was Burrata con parma o verdure, Risotto alle capesante, and Linguine Pollo e Funghi. Food arrived within 30-mins of ordering, and noise levels were on the lower end. Friendly staff, excellent service, and an on-the-house dessert left us very happy and pleased with the overall experience! Highly recommended!

Excellent small restaurant that's an offshoot of the bigger Ristorante al Caratello right across…read morethe street. It's more intimate, but I think has essentially the same menu (and you can also order pizza from Pizza Caratello next door). We came here twice (because it was so close to our hotel, and we enjoyed it so much the first time). I got the Rigatoni Amatriciana the first time, which was cooked to a perfect al dente and tasted great. The second time, I got a Pizza Napoletana, which was also excellent -- really nice crust. For dessert, I got the Flute Limoncello, which was very refreshing, especially given how warm a day it was. Service was very friendly and attentive. I heard a lot of Italian being spoken by staff, so it seemed pretty legit. I would highly recommend this place over the nearby Le Chinon, in terms of food and service.

This restaurant is my favorite in all of Paris, with a magical hidden atmosphere and wonderful…read moreowner/chef (from what I can tell he does 100% of the work and has no employees). I stumbled across it for the first time last May on vacation and was blown away. The place is small and cozy - and located down a cute residential street in Montmartre so away from the crowds. I hesitate to write this review as once this is discovered it'll be tough to get a table, but it's heartbreaking to walk a couple blocks away after a delicious meal and see the crowds eating at the many tourist restaurants in Montmartre totally oblivious to the culinary perfection so nearby! Now on to the food - I came here first last May and had Pesto Penne which I have dreamed about ever since then. Back in Paris again in January, I returned to have a squid ink spaghetti creation that I'm not sure can ever be topped. I love Italian food and have spent a lot of time in Italy and it's my go-to food in the U.S., and this restaurant is simply the best. Finally, the owner is incredibly awesome! He comes out to our table with a handwritten menu and explains all the dishes - everything is handmade and perfect! I wish I could give this 1,000 stars, seriously. If you are staying in Montmartre (or anywhere in Paris) you owe it to yourself to come here!!!!
