Small number of tables so you'd probably need to show up early to get a table for a large group. For two people we sat down immediately. We had burrata and a delightful truffle pizza. Came here on our first night in Paris and this restaurant was right around the corner from our Airbnb. I got the linguini scampi with prawns & my BF got the carbonara. The linguini was good but I ended up switching my pasta with my BF because we both liked each others better lol. The carbonara was creamy and delicious and was cooked perfectly. I also asked for a glass of white wine and I'm not sure what they gave me but it was quite good. Really crisp and refreshing. I wish I had asked for the name. Knocking off a star cause service could've been better. When we arrived, they didn't even greet us. One of the waitresses wasn't too friendly and had a bitchy vibe. Also I noticed that when new customers came, the worker pointed out their menu that was outside and explained what their special was. They didn't do that for us. We stopped by Gusto Italia after touring the Eiffel Tower and were definitely not expecting it to be as delicious as it was! What a wonderful little spot with fresh, authentic Italian food. The service was good throughout our meal, as well! We got the Neapolitan pizza and truffle creme pasta w/ mushrooms - Wow! The truffle creme pasta was INSANE. Every bit we took we couldn't believe how yummy it was. The texture of the sauce was creamy and the pasta was a perfect al dente. This is the place to eat, plus the atmosphere is great. We also had Red wine in each occasion and it was a perfect compliment to our meals... The owner met us at the door and we decided to give it a shot. From the moment we sat down until we walked out the door we were very impressed. Here is a man who owns his own restaurant and cares about the quality of his food and the service that he provides. He recommended the lasagna and honestly I was scriptural. Most places serve cheat and generic lasagna that takes mediocre. I took and chance and ordered it. Oh wow! You can tell this stuff is hand made with a little bit of love. So so so good! My GF got the pizza and was equally impressed. We pared the meal with some fantastic wine and was impressed with the whole experience. If I am ever in Paris again I will definitely eat here again. Dinner was delicious. The manager was pleasant but accidentally spilled wine on my wife's new dress, which cost $218 dollars. When we got our bill for only $92 Euros, the owner refused to take care of the bill. We were very disappointed and honestly expected more. I got the penne all'arrabiata and it was one of my favorite pasta dishes i've ever had! it also came with bread which was equally as good! the restaurant was quiet and comfortable to sit there for a few hours. definitely will be going back very soon. read more

Possibly one of the best meals I've had in quite some time. Had the veal meatballs with truffle risotto. Five of us ate for 80€ and that included a 25€ bottle of wine. Kids split a pizza, it was huge but the crust was light and very thin. My son said the best he's ever had. Lol. Highly recommend. There is a place directly across the street when the same name. TOURIST TRAP!!! Meal was okay. Nothing special. Burrata was flavorless. Pesto linguine was fine. They serve you sautéed vegetables (carrots, zucchini, mushrooms) in the beginning as a starter without asking if you want it but they end up charging you for it. The owner seems friendly but he's just trying to rip you off. The windows have multiple credit card stickers on them, giving you the impression that they take credit cards. When our bill came, the same "friendly" owner said he did not take credit cards and had no credit card machine. When we told him that we had no euros on us seeing as we had just come straight from the airport, his whole demeanor changed and he became very nasty. All of a sudden he started yelling, forgot how to speak English apparently, and became impatient. But also, magically a credit card machine came out. He tried to make it seem after 2 seconds of swiping the credit card begrudgingly that it wasn't working, but it actually went through which he wasn't happy about it. Come to find out by our hotel staff that every restaurant in Paris is mandated to have a working credit card machine. Thus, he's just a fake nasty Parisian trying to swindle tourists. My family and i stopped in while we waited for a trip to the effiel tower. At first i wasnt sure about the experience but after stepping we were met with very friendly people. They spoke, French, English and of course Italian. The waiter walked us thru the menu and pointed out the chef special. The truffle scouffle and truffle rissoto was amazing a must try at this great restaurant. We stopped walking when we saw the pizzas, they looked fantastic and both ended up ordering pasta! Go figure. Service was great and there wasn't much drama when we asked to move our outside seat to indoors when the weather looked pretty bad (spoiler: it was a torrential downpour 20 minutes later).
