Wake up steak and eggs which
    Scott S.

Been here before but had not reviewed so here we go. Went with my Daughter for brunch. We were hungry so we each got the wake up steak and eggs which comes with home fries. We ordered medium rare and not to quibble but it was medium. We were very hungry and did not send it back. I had to use sauce to cover the medium cook which is not my preference. Still a very tasty meal. I think next time we will stick to more standard fare. People are nice here and I will surely come again.

This was our first time eating at Sorriso Kitchen and we loved it! We went for brunch and were pleasantly surprised by the food and the ambience. The breakfast brussel sprouts were delicious, coming from someone who doesn't order brussel sprouts often. The mustard sauce really tied the whole plate together. We would return solely for the brussel sprouts, that's how good they were. The pancakes were great, especially with the berry maple syrup! The chicken and waffles were also good, crispy and sweet. Lastly, the cappuccino which was just as good as any other well done cappuccino. The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. Everything was clean. We will definitely be back!

    Avocado toast. Delish!

Pleasantly surprised that we found this lovely place to enjoy a late breakfast! The decor is rustic French cafe... white tiles with cafe style seating. The place has a great vibe! We were there on a Friday around 1:00 pm and every seat was occupied . We lucked out that one couple paid their bill as we were entering. Server was prompt to hand us menus and bring drinks to our table. I really lived my Avocado Toast, w/ goat cheese. I added goat cheese .. they offer to serve it w/ egg option. My friend had his w/ an egg over easy on top. We both lived our meal. Great location as well. Hope to return when we're up here again!

    Horrible poached eggs!

Went for breakfast today and what a disappointment!!! Ordered a latte, that was lukewarm, I asked for it to be reheated, she made me a new one which was nice of her but only to watch her make the espresso shot and it's not fresh ground beans, it's a pod!! Latte was horrible!!! Asked for Brioche french toast, they were out, asked about the steak and eggs(market price) only to be told it's $31.00!!!!! That's outrageous, ordered an avocado toast with poached eggs, the chef seems to not know how to poach an egg, looked like something out of a horror movie! The avocado toast was good but the poached eggs were over done and was terrible, not even beautifully presented, throw in a bowl with a bunch of water. Maybe management needs to review dishes with their chef a before sending out to paying customers.

What a cute brunch gem! While the seating area is small, the food is packed with flavor and the staff are courteous and pleasant. We went for brunch a few days ago and were pleasantly surprised at just how good the breakfast options were! The fresh orange juice was sweet and tart. The coffee (regular and decaf) was perfect! The New Yorker with corned beef tasted like it was just brined and served it was that fresh. The Sorriso breakfast sandwich was unique and delectable! We will definitely be back and bring our friends and family!

Came here for brunch on Saturday. I had no problem getting a table for 2. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I ordered the Classico French toast without cinnamon sugar and dulce de leche drizzle. The portion was very small, I left still hungry. I ordered a side of eggs which my mom devoured! I also ordered an iced latte which was $5.70 because I got almond milk. It was okay but probably wouldn't get it again at that price.

Really cute breakfast spot! The ambience is so adorable. They have your breakfast classics and everything is served with a smile! Will definitely be back.

Greco omelette -- spinach, tomato, and feta.

Popped in just before 1pm on a spring Friday. Restaurant was bustling with most seats occupied both inside and out, but we were still seated promptly. Excellent service AND food! I enjoyed the Greco omelette and my friend raved about her Fig & Brie + T sandwich. The iced vanilla oatmilk lattes we ordered were very good, too. We never felt rushed during our visit. Hope to visit again soon!

Came for Sunday brunch and was pleasantly surprised. If you're going to come during the weekend, make sure you call ahead. Sorriso Kitchen is very busy and I'm glad that I called. The restaurant is not large, but they did a very good job with their decor. The restroom is immaculate and you could see the busy kitchen right from your seat. My Mocha Cappuccino was exceptional, but wish it would have been served in a larger cup. Every entree was very good, well seasoned, and at the right temperature. The French Toast was exceptional and you'll really enjoy this item. I recommend Sorriso for a pleasant meal, but time it wisely.

Cute cafe in downtown Chatham. The food was very good, though the fries had an odd, sweet taste to them. The coffee was very subpar - comparable to a diner

This place is amazing. The staff are incredibly friendly, and what I love most is their willingness to give back to the community. They help train those with special needs, which is a cause close to my heart because my brother is social needs. The service is amazing and the place is inviting. Food is good, too. We got the lemon ricotta pancakes, rise and shine breakfast sandwich, maple bacon beauties and breakfast potatoes

Food is really good - service is great - warm homey feel. The menu has something for everyone. Coffee is delicious

Indoor with the holiday decorations still up - feels warm, cozy, and inviting on a cold winter day

What a cute and cozy wintry brunch experience! We came here with the kids on a Sunday, blustery morning and got seated right away. The restaurant was still decked out in holiday lights, which brought a nice warmth. We called ahead to check on the waitlist (which we learned from the other reviews) and were welcomed right away when we entered. The place was very kid- and family-friendly, as other families with smaller children were also dining in. There were definitely several highlights of our meal, including: their sausage links and crispy potatoes (as part of the smilin farmer's platter) and their special Nutella latte. The kids enjoyed their special carbonara omelette and the well known limone ricotta pancakes with added strawberries. The homemade OJ was also a hit. Looking forward to dining al fresco when it's warmer!

Ask the Community - Sorriso Kitchen

    Is it BYOB?

    Yes it is. Thanks.

How long would a typical wait be for brunch on a Saturday?

If you are talking between 10a-12p, probably about 15-20 is what I've experienced. There are benches outside and it is well worth the wait!!

Is the goat cheese french toast a regular item?

There's not "goat cheese French toast" listed on the menu. However, there is a dish called "Ryan's Brioche Blue" and the description says that is has "blueberry whipped goat cheese, orange zest, and berry compote." I hope this helps. 😁

To their credit the food is quite good and the service is attentive and friendly without being overbearing. So why the 3 Stars? Simple. There are no healthy options on the breakfast menu. Sure there are things that can be construed as healthy like egg white omelets, etc but there's no oatmeal, no overnight oats, no yogurt, no granola... Well, I think you see the point. To 90% of the egg, potato, pancake eating public this probably isn't an issue but to me it is. Ordered lemon ricotta pancakes which were quite good with a massive portion sure to delight most people but again, no short stack options and I barely made it through 1/2 of it. All in all, if the aforementioned issues are unimportant to you, I'd give them a try. If, on the other hand, you're like me, I'd look elsewhere to start my day.

We tried the Tikkaville sandwich and medium-spicy tenders, and both were good -- crunchy, spicy with a very manageable kick, and filled with tender, juicy chicken. There are a few areas that could make the food even better. The tenders have a dry, crunchy breading that tends to fall off the chicken, and since most of the seasoning is concentrated in the coating, the chicken itself can taste a little bland. The chipotle dipping sauce definitely helps. The Tikkaville sandwich has a great concept, but the tikka sauce could use some refinement. It leans a little acidic; I think a creamier, smokier, butter-chicken-style sauce could make the sandwich richer and much more crave-worthy. Prices are reasonable and the ambiance is nice, although you can constantly hear the fryer running in the background. It's a self serve concept so not much to report here. I really admire what Namkeen is trying to do -- it's a creative concept with plenty of potential. With a little more refinement and consistency, I think it could go from "good" to something you genuinely crave and keep coming back for.

A two egg breakfast, an order of lemon ricotta pancakes with a side of bacon, and two coffees was $50. That's insane for an average breakfast pre-tip. I would not call the side of bacon generous to justify the cost, it was two small strips. I was underwhelmed by the lemon ricotta pancakes. They were plain pancakes with a bitter lemon ricotta drizzle on the top layer. I've had some amazing lemon ricotta pancakes elsewhere. Whatever recipe they are using for the lemon ricotta is just not good. The drizzle was dry and so bitter. I usually don't use syrup but these needed syrup because they were so bitter. The cleanliness of this establishment is questionable, which is likely why we won't return. One of the glasses set at the table was dirty. We did get a new one when requested. The bottle of water provided appeared dirty, which we noticed after being there awhile. When I asked for a to go box, the busser went to the back to get one for me. After the gentleman walked away I looked in the box before placing my food in, and saw crumbs in one corner and short dark hairs. By this point we had reached the end of our dining experience, so it wasn't worth making a fuss over, we just left. That said, anytime I see this level of uncleanliness as a customer it begs the question: how clean is the kitchen?
