Dandelion
Grace J.

A small Korean drink vendor inside the Tysons mall! I got the dandelion slush which had a roasted caramel taste and was refreshing. Their focus is coffee and teas, and they were very quick with making the drinks. There's a few bar seating along the side of the vendor stand

Black Sesame Smoothie w/ oat milk

I've never heard of this business, but we stumbled upon it in the Tysons Corner Center. We originally visited to find "A Christmas To Remember" (a business which no longer has a store but only a kiosk in the mall for Christmas 2025) and experience the Christmas village on PenFed Plaza. For various reasons, we didn't experience either the Christmas store or the temporary Christmas village, but we did do some other window shopping and enjoyed drinks from this kiosk. Drink prices are competitive with other boba/bubble tea joints popping up in the region, and familiar flavor profiles and options are available here, too. The service was quick and friendly. I really enjoyed my black sesame smoothie, and I personalized mine with oat milk and only 50% of the standard sweetness. There's no dedicated seating, but you can definitely window shop or sit in the food court area.

Look at the fine texture of the shaved ice! Rip my diet

THEY HAVE BINGSOO, ITS THE SAME AS THEIR ANNANDALE LOCATION!!! Food: Their drinks run a little too sweet for me so I get 50% sugar (I have a sweet tooth). My favorite is their Injeolmi smoothie! Their Bingsoo (Shaved Ice) is PHENOMENAL (same as Annandale!). I won't lie, I was a little skeptical because the ice was preshaved for the cup size, and I was worried the shaved ice would have melted and stuck together. That is not the case at all!! It is a little packed down toward the bottom but it is still very fine with a soft mouth feel! I got the Black Sesame Bingsoo in a cup size and it came with almonds, red bean, cornflakes, a scoop of icecream, coffee drizzle on the icecream, and black sesame powder! Note this is NOT a snowcone. I suspect it's a milktea block that was frozen and shaved so that's why the texture is so soft! Ambiance: The Kiosk is very clean and has an aesthetic modern natural look. There is some bar seating on the side. Why you should support them: Soricha is owned by the sweetest older Korean couple I know. The wife is very knowledgeable with Korean herbal teas and is now sharing her healthy teas through their shops. You can tell they really care about their stores and quality because you can frequently see both of them at both locations

First time trying bingsoo and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! I first went to the flagship location and saw the massive ones there but I was solo and didnt want to waste any. So, I was elated to discover that this location existed and allowed for me to have my first bingsoo! The flavor was incredible! The smaller amount could have fed two people but I was able to take in more than half while walking the mall. Service was friendly and I even got to try the roasted dandelion tea which shockingly tasted just like coffee! I will have to order that the next time I'm at either locations. They have sitting around the kiosk but you can always take your order to go and walk the mall, too.

Really solid black sesame bingsoo! I love their black sesame one so much so I order two days in a row. Very rich texture and if you are an Asian who doesn't like too sweet things I would say go for the 50% sweet option! It tasted perfect the ice cream combination made it really refreshing

Bing soo with red bean

Best bing soo I've ever had, although also the most expensive!! Keep in mind this bing soo is meant to be shared for 4+ people. It's bigger than my face. I got the ingeolmi (soy bean powder) bing soo and it was delicious. Place is also decorated nicely and a cozy place to come chill with friends or study. Trust me -- you will have never had such delicious and light bing soo as this before.

I recently discovered Soricha at their brick-and-mortar location in Annandale and had a great experience. So, I was both surprised and excited to see a pop-up at the mall. I tried the Mugwort Matcha (iced, with oat milk and unsweetened), and it was perfect--exactly what I was craving. The staff was also quick and easy to talk to.

Service is always great! I either order on the app or at the kiosk. Staff are quick to make drinks. Love the little samples of beverages. I also love their bingsoo and they have two sizes here! Perfect dessert Different ambiance compared to their other location, but same great drinks!

Mugwort Matcha Hojicha latte
Sharon H.

A sweet treat at the mall! Both the mugwort and the hojicha are solid choices--it is quite sweet though so save it as a dessert! Although mugwort tends to be bitter with a sweet undertone, you really don't taste it in the mugwort matcha. The hojicha is a bit nutty and earthy but still very sweet. There are a couple of high seats to relax after shopping. The staff is very helpful and we got to try some new flavors like the peach lemonade.

Hojicha Smoothie

As a fan of the Soricha franchise for many years, I've been coming to this kiosk location ever since it's opening. I've had nothing but excellent service through Bae and Kyung and they've really upped the kiosk adding seats on the side, with TV screens that displays the menu on all sides of the kiosk. You can order through the kiosk but the staff are super personable and love taking the orders directly as well! I am excited to try their cup bingsoo but my go-to is usually their Hojicha Smoothie or Roasted Dandelion Smoothie (all the flavorful pleasure of coffee- without the caffeine). Can confidently say this place still maintains its high quality and service.

Bingsoo
Lynn P.

Soricha is one of my favorite places to go (both locations) for delicious teas and Ades. Both locations offer Bingsoo as well, however the benefit of the Tyson's location is that they have a small 16 oz version. The cup Bingsoo is made with shaved Hojicha milk tea and is topped with corn flakes, sliced almonds, vanilla ice cream and syrup. You can choose between black sesame and soybean. We ordered the black sesame and it was delicious. I already love their Hojicha, so having it in dessert form was amazing, can't wait to go back!

Bingsoo shaved ice
Jessica S.

Came specifically for the bingsoo (shaved ice) on a hot summer day, but I'll have to return for the teas. Korean shaved ice is different from Chinese (what I usually order) and so I'll spend some time describing this one as I didn't get to choose my own toppings. They offer only one type of bingsu with some minor customizations, such as black sesame powder instead of soy powder. Otherwise it's shaved ice with a ball of old fashioned vanilla iced cream, mochi rice cakes, red bean, and corn flakes. It came with condensed milk as well. Overall a light not overly sweet taste (the highest Asian dessert compliment) that was refreshing and enough to share :D Will be back for the milk teas next!

Really refreshing juice. They had it for samples for it and we tried it and i really liked it. It was $7.00 per juice. It was decent juice.

I ordered a pistachio latte at this Tysons location and it was mostly milk and ice. When I asked who appeared to be the male manager there if they could remake it, since the one they gave me was mostly ice and milk, he gave me a dirty look. Not very friendly service here. They're very busy, which is why I don't recommend if you're in a rush or want a latte that isn't made rushed. It doesn't give off specialty craft latte, because the quality and time spent on making the latte isn't there. They use too much milk. Or maybe they're just really inconsistent. Either way, it would have been better if the manager had tried to make things right rather than act annoyed. I really don't understand the hype and all the rave reviews, given the poor quality of the latte I received and bad service, this made me not want to come back. Disappointing coffee.

I need a little more salt on my steak but that's a personal preference. The main meal comes with a side and their fresh fruit salad is incredibly refreshing. The vibe is vibing. The waiter told me that there was no need because the host had prepaid $2,000 and, at that time, the guests had only used approximately $800 of that amount. Later in the evening, after many guests had already left, the same waiter approached me and stated that my bill was $750. When I asked how my personal bill could possibly be $750, I was told that it was the bill for the entire table. We ordered several dishes to share, including the Chawanmushi, Seafood Sunomono Salad, Miso Salmon, Sashimi Combo, Super Dragon Roll, and Rainbow Roll. Everything was beautifully prepared, but the Sashimi Combo and Super Dragon Roll were the highlights of our meal! Chawanmushi: This traditional Japanese steamed egg custard featured crab meat and enoki mushrooms. I especially loved its delicate, silky-smooth texture. Seafood Sunomono Salad: Unlike the typical Sunomono salads I've had elsewhere, Cafe Ile's version featured an assortment of seafood, including salmon, tuna, crab, and octopus. It was a nice twist on a classic Japanese dish! Miso Salmon: Miso-marinated salmon served over a bed of cauliflower purée. A lovely combination of flavors! Sashimi Combo: One of my absolute favorites of the evening! The chef's assortment featured an impressive selection of seafood, including monkfish liver, herring, various types and grades of tuna, salmon, scallops, and more. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and I especially appreciated the flavorful takikomi gohan served alongside the sashimi. Super Dragon Roll: Another standout! This roll featured shrimp tempura topped with marinated, cooked eel and alternating red, yellow, and green masago. The combination of ingredients made this one of my favorite rolls of the evening. Rainbow Roll: A classic California roll topped with tuna, salmon, and avocado. A great choice for anyone who enjoys a variety of fish in one roll! Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience at Cafe Ile! I appreciated the variety of traditional Japanese dishes, the freshness of the seafood, and the thoughtful presentation of each dish. The Sashimi Combo alone makes me want to return! We're already looking forward to our next visit, especially to experience their omakase! At the time of our visit, omakase was offered Monday through Thursday at 5:30 PM and required advance reservations. Highly recommend Cafe Ile for anyone looking for quality Japanese cuisine and fresh sashimi in McLean!
