Please be aware this business is taking advantage of people. I never subscribed, but just booked a massage while visiting the US, and then, they kept charging my credit card every month for months! no one answered, no phone number, and emails and chats are worthless. They never sent confirmation of payment, or a copy of my subscription. nothing! almost $1000 yes, $1000 in services I didn't take and subscription I never signed up for. AVOID!!! read more

Terrible. Their technicians are unreliable and don't show up on time for appointments

Soothe has become a SCAM. At 7 AM, I booked a massage for 7 PM today. Around 5 PM, they informed me that they had not been able to find a massage therapist in my area. That's understandable. BUT they billed my credit card just under $200 at 7 AM, i.e. when they had not yet found a massage therapist. I've now been on the phone with them for over 2 hours trying to get my money back. They drop calls. They bot text but don't reply. Seeking the relaxation benefits of a massage, I've now lost $200, 2 hours of time and am annoyed and frustrated. Dealing with Comcast is more therapeutic than Soothe. read more

Soothe - After they hang up on you, Soothe's text bots send a generic message and then ghost. SCAM. - Massage Near Me

Serenity now. Literally now. Like no wait to feel a million bucks. "What do you mean Andy?" You may ask. It's Soothe! The most epic app / service to come into my life. Basically it's like Uber, but instead of helping you home after a drunken night, it delivers a massage therapist to your door. Amazing. You select the following: - gender of your therapist - type of massage - location - duration -date and time Soothe will assign you a therapist, you'll receive a notification and then they arrive. They set everything up-even the music. You just lay there and relax. Yes there I'm sure are bad masseurs out there that show up and may not do a great job, but that can happen anywhere. They have a helpline if you have issues as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my massage and can't wait to do it again. It's $99 for an hour and that's tip included. To me, you can't beat it. Essentially I have no reason to leave home now. read more

The idea of a massage "delivery" is so convenient, it gives you the flexibility to get a massage at your home with short notice. The prices are great (tip included) for the area, given that 1) they come to your place with a massage table and the essentials for the treatment, 2) they come early to prepare, 3) they can come within an hours notice! I had Mayte, and she was so pleasant, comfortable, and knew her stuff. She gave a sports massage with stretching, and could really tell what needed work, and worked more on those areas. read more

I was excited to surprise my significant other for an in home couples massage since I flew into town. Found this on a google search and they even had late night availability; only to experience easily the worst massage / experience I ever spent $200 on. My first masseuse (Annalise) showed up on time very professional (we even waited in the parking lot for the 2nd masseuse) The 2nd masseuse showed up 15-20 minutes late no phone call on being late and then had difficulty driving through the security gate which I had to go get her from. They arrive in the home and both masseuse are setting up. Annalise was the one who had 8 years experience so I gave her to my boyfriend while this second masseuse had 1 year (bad match up)! Let's just say for 60 minutes I was completely draped wrong and revealing myself to the masseuse and whoever would have been in that room. She did techniques that were similar to being arrested with kindergarten rubbing techniques. Used little to no oil at all. Draped me and shook me back and forth like you wake up a child from a nap. By far the worst massage. Being a good patron I still tipped her because I had to tip the other masseuse and called soothe.com immediately as I was guaranteed the day before when booking that customer satisfaction was a priority. The masseuse even stayed behind to sincerely apologize for my experience because she said she could see from the other side of the room that I was draped terribly and being stretched like a rag doll. Soothe.com offered me $50 for this terrible experience and told me I'd get a call back 24 hours later. It's been 72 hours , no call back and I had to call myself and was told nothing more can be done. All in all! If you re used to expertise in firm Swedish massages don't book with soothe ; if you see the profile of your selected masseuse before they arrive pay attention to it because you don't want to end up like I was "exposed and ripped off". Customer service was terrible and told me they couldn't do anything else. I'll never book with their in home services again! Would prefer to deal with a salon that matches their masseuse accordingly and prides themselves off of proper draping techniques and customer service! read more

Got excited as I downloaded the app. I instantly booked a couples massage as a surprise and they never showed up and ruined my evening. The app shows a signal that the massage therapists were arriving for 60 minutes. 85 minutes later the app said it was trying to confirm new therapists. There was a cancel button and I tapped it. It then said I would be refunded in 5 days lol. FYI you will also get charged a booking fee of $20 which the app gets to at the end of your booking. Since then Customerservice of soothe could notated me and took care of my needs. They were also nice enough to include a $20 credit. Thank you read more

Try Soothe, the app that delivers high quality massage to your door in 1hr. Here's a code for $20 off your 1st massage:JQVHN - https://www.soothe.com/invite/JQVHN Sooth is fantastic. The first time I thought the massage was going to be mediocre. I was surprised at how the therapist was experienced and adapted to my needs. The best part is being in the comfort of my home. The therapist brings everything, exactly like in a parlour, so you can take a shower immediately after your done. After a great massage, you just roll in bed a have a super relaxed and restful sleep. Do not miss out on this app. You'll thank me. read more

For a company that has been around for years and is VC backed , I'm surprised at all the logistical and billing challenges they still have. I'm a monthly member and each month I have some sort of mistakes with billing and customer service replies on canned messages usually, not taking the time to review account details. It's a headache to deal with admin work to maintain a membership with Soothe. read more

Was a bit hesitant to try it out, but luckily I really enjoyed my experience. You can choose if you want a male or female massage therapist, the type of massage, and you choose the time you would like them to come over. Which is really convenient if you decide to treat yourself to something nice at the last minute. I did a couples massage and we couldn't get two of the therapists at the same time so the company called us and made sure we were okay with them coming at a later time. You get to see your massage therapist and their rating... Its like the uber for massage therapists! I am definitely going to use this app often. read more

I was staying at the Cadillac Marriott in South Beach and desperately wanted a massage. I was searching on Yelp and discovered Soothe! A massage that comes to my hotel room for an affordable price? Yes, please! I used a code and got $30 off and Marianela arrived the same day. The massage was great and the process was as easy as booking an Uber. If you want $30 off, use code GHFCM read more

Decided to try out Soothe on my mini vacation to Miami since there were no sales at the Delano Spa. Great decision on my part as I was able to get a 90 min massage for $109 using a $30 off coupon code - what a steal! I reserved my massage at my hotel on Friday night for 8 am the following morning. Isabelle was my massage therapist . She arrived at 7:30 and was sent up to my room by the concierge. She setup her table, work space and spa music and started my massage promptly. She did an excellent job - was quite attentive, friendly and was able to get some knots out of my back. Looking forward to using this service at home. Use coupon code XMYLX for $30 off!!!! read more

I use Soothe usually every 6-8 weeks. Excellent service, attentive masseuses, and great prices. Very hard to go wrong here. Best part is that it is truly on demand. Hours run from ~8am-11pm so a two hour massage can end at 1am (if you so desire). Avoiding: traffic, waiting weeks for a reservation, and even having to figure out tip is so worth it. They come to your home or office or wherever you are and tip is included. Must-try! read more

I was maybe a little skeptical about a service I've never used before with house calls, but wow! Luis came to my apartment, was 100% professional and experienced. I have a herniated disc in my cervical spine so I can't let just anyone touch me, he did a fantastic job and really understood (and wasn't intimidated) by the condition, asked thoughtful questions and I'm grateful for the service. He showed up in one hour, on a Sunday, and it allowed me to get on with my weekend on a much better note. I used someone's discount code here, this is mine for $30 off: KMANG read more

This was the most amazing concierge service ever!!!! My therapist Lillian was excellent. Her demeanor was calming. She asked all the right questions. Brought her own ambience music and the oils were perfect. The intensity of the massage was just what I needed after a hectic travel day. My wife and I tried soother for the first time today, and honestly couldn't be happier. We had Livio and Annia come, and their professionalism and expertise showed immediately. I was dealing with back pain for a long time due to heavy lifting at work, and although I had tried with multiple massage parlors to help this issue, nothing worked. Annia, fixed my pain in less than one hour and even offered advice to keep it away. My wife couldn't be happier with her masseuse Livio, who she says to be the best massage experience she ever had. We are definitely returning to this company for our future massages. read more

This company is absolutely amazing! From the very friendly and helpful receptionist that answered my call and all my five million questions to they fact that they ha wan app that makes it so simple to have massage therapist come to your home in as little as an hour! My mother and I had a very hard week as we lost a loved one and I thought this would be a great way to relax us both a bit. The massage therapist that came to our home were very professional, made us feel very comfortable, very knowledgable (even taught me some things), answered all my questioned and even made us laugh! Their oils smell extremely soothing and calm the senses great aromatherapy! and they even play nice relaxing music for you as well. I will definitely be using this wonderful companies services again in the future! read more

Soothe - Massage Near Me

Worst experience and worst service !!! Four massages in a row was a no show or a problem. Company makes mistakes and doesn't make up for it or fix it. So many better options. Don't do it!!!! They still want to charge me for their mistakes. read more

Absolutely horrendous service. I called to make an appointment to surprise my wife with a massage for our anniversary and we were paired with a massage therapist. After texting back and forth on details, she suddenly stopped replying, and a few minutes later, she unbooked our appointment for 5pm without explanation. I called soothe to ask why I wasn't informed, and they apologized (said therapist double booked) and said they would try a later time of 5:30 to see if another therapist could take the appointment. I said that was fine, although I wanted 5 as the time because I had a dinner planned after. The massage went fine, but it turns out that they charged me $20 for rescheduling the appointment, even though their employee flaked out on US, and I didn't ask for a different appointment time!!! I have reached out to customer support via email twice and by phone with no help! Really terrible service and I still cannot get the issue rectified. $20 isn't going to bankrupt me, but it's the principle. read more

Really convenient being able to book and have a massage same day. My therapist was on time with table and did aromatherapy too . My only issue was that he brought a towel as the top sheet and it didn't really cover me properly so I would probably have my own sheet available next time . It's really what you make it since you control your own ambience. read more

Oh my god what a poor experience. Ordered with the app 12 hours before the massage time. 2 minutes later I got the approval. The woman arrived in time and she was really nice. Her material was really clean. The music she brought was relaxing. That's the good part. Directly after the start I noticed that the long booked time will not be one of the good experiences. But I did not want to become rude and make her being ashamed, so I let her continue. It was not a massage at all. This woman does not know how to give a massage. It was more a tapping, touching, partly tickling. She used her elbow a few times, but she did not know how to do it and it seemed that she was not informed about human anatomy. I'm a doctor and I know, where the muscles are, even if I just learned it long ago and did not need this knowledge often since then. She did not know about that, that was sure. And she did not know how to use her hands and arms to give the client a good experience. There were no fluid movements at all. Stopping here, starting there again, no concept at all. In the end of the really long time I was a bit relaxed, okay. But that's it. It was one of the most expensive and the worst massage I ever got. This is the promise of quality soothe gives? Okay, understood. App deleted. I thought about calling for refunding the money. But the woman almost begged to rate her 5 stars, seemed to be under big pressure. I don't want to harm anybody. It's not the fault of this woman. It's the fault of Soothe. If they are not able to check the quality of duty in advance, if they give me this bad experience and charge this high amount... Then they should know that they need to do better. I will rate now - not in the app but by deleting the Soothe app forever. What a waste of time and money for me. After this terrible experience I can not understand where all these 5-star-ratings come from. read more

This was the very first I used this Service, and the lady name Yari came to massage me, and OH MY GOD, she is amazing. She found every nuts around my neck and shoulder, and she fixed me up. Great service! Eviloy came in a few minutes early than the scheduled time, which is great so he had time to set up. I got a deep tissue massage and that was awesome. Eviloy gave me really good tips on how to massage my mid-lower back so it doesn't get too tight. Also, you can't beat the price and the best thing is that they come to your house so you get your massage in the comfort of your own home! Fantastic service and I will definitely promote this to my friends and use it again. read more

My therapy session was great. Therapist was punctual, professional, and very knowledgeable. I received a deep tissue massage and therapist was very conscious of how I was feeling throughout. Just tried out the couple's massage this morning and it was amazing! Both therapists were extremely kind, professional and punctual. I would definitely book with them again! They set up 10 minutes before in our own living room (super convenient) and allowed us to listen to our own music as well as light our scented candles during. They had us so relaxed they put my fiancé straight to sleep! Drive to Chicago for a date night with my wife. We never received a notice that one of our therapists for a couples massage at our hotel would not make the appt. The other therapist did show up....they offered back to back but we had a night planned. Customer service was very lacking this evening. We have used Soothe in the past, and have had decent results...but this is the second time now that we have been cancelled on at last minute. Probably better to not use Soothe to plan something a week out. Use it as an app for day of service only. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. The therapist called and said she was coming up to my room and then never showed up. I tried calling her and Soothe and no one knew where she or the other therapist went. So much for our couples massage. I would never use the app again. There's a reason why they are giving you 30 dollars off incentive bc they suck and don't follow through. So unprofessional. read more

First of all, this was so easy to do - I booked a massage at 8pm on a Saturday night for a 9pm massage at my hotel. I used the first timer code, and got $30 off so the massage was $70 including tip for 60 mins (GREAT!). I accidentally entered the wrong address....so the company contacted me around 8:45 to confirm the address, and my masseuse Olga was still able to get here on time even though I had made the mistake! The app mentions that you should try and pay for masseuse's valet if your hotel requires that, so I was prepared with cash. BUT she had the courtesy of having someone drop her off, so I didn't have that extra charge!!! She was extremely friendly, asked me about my preferences, set up the table super fast, and we were on to the massage. The whole process was extremely professional, and she even had a Soothe branded shirt on - you can tell this company really make sure they are hiring high quality masseuses who are well trained and highly professional. The massage was incredible - she did everything I asked for. She even asked me if I preferred a head massage or not (how considerate! I hate oil in my hair!). And I got to choose between oil or lotion. Perfect! As a tourist walking around all day and then heels at night, my calves and feet were killing so she dedicated an extra 20 minutes on them which I died for! I'm extremely happy with this service and will be using it in all the other major cities I visit. read more
