Honestly, a decent price for an in-home massage. It's reasonably priced compared to other brick and mortar spas considering they come to you. Booking online is easy. Be aware that "high demand" times they'll tack on another $20 and you won't know that until you get to the checkout page. The time we book massages with Soothe it's like 11 o'clock at night. It's been a long day and we are getting off work and want to get a real massage. One time we had one of the masseuses get lost and show up late. The other 3-4 times, they have been on-time and professional. Here's how it works. You book online and then they send you a confirmation whether a massage therapist is available to make your scheduled time. Then you just clear a space for the massage table and they show up with everything they need. Then like any other massage you lay on the table and you get massaged. Afterwards, they will probably ask if they can use the bathroom to wash their hands, they pack up their stuff and off they go. Easy as pie. So why 4 stars? Well, the biggest issue I have is their scheduling system. I wanted a massage at 11:45pm yesterday and I had gotten on the computer at 10:40pm to book it. I was trying to coordinate with my wife and didn't get to the booking button until 10:46 which is inside the 1 hour booking time to get 11:45 slot. So I just bumped my time to the 12:00 midnight time and hit "book." I got the confirmation and everything. 20 minutes later, I get a call from them saying, "We can't get you a therapist because 11:45 is the latest we offer massages." Me: "So why do you even allow people to book that time, if you know you won't honor it?" "We'll need to talk to our app people and see if that can be changed." Seems odd that you wouldn't block off times that you know you won't fill. It's like going to a restaurant and looking at the menu and saying, "Oh, I'd like the Shepherd's Pie." "Sorry, we don't offer the Shepherd's Pie." "Why's it on the menu?" "I don't know. I'll need to talk to the manager about it." I went to cancel on the app and they offered some trickery of rescheduling the appointment free of charge. Why would there be a charge to reschedule an appointment they couldn't deliver or does it mean free meaning massage? Anyway I spoke with the representative who was trying to be condescending on rescheduling. I'm staying at a hotel on the perimeter of DFW. I changed hotel to actually in the airport and said therapist in the past Cancelled because of distance. I tried explaining the situation of locality and it was pointless. I found them online scheduled a same day appt. I was told if I joined the monthly membership for $92 I would get 60 minutes free each month. I joined and scheduled the appt. 30 minutes before my appt they called me and said they were having problem finding someone based on my request. They wanted me to change my special request for tcb oil and just go for a regular massage. I was also told I would have to pay extra because the $92 really was only for a discount not free. So the massage would have cost me $160 if they could find someone. I just cancelled because it was getting late. My appt was for 6pm but the scheduler said he would try to get someone by 8pm. However she was very professional she set up very quickly and her massage it was very very good. I have a lot of massages and she has a lot of techniques of a couple of my favorite massage therapists that I go to all the time. As far as using this company it is pricey as I only pay$1 a minute normally. I looked for reviews regarding tipping and I couldn't figure out what to tip because the sites information stated that the tip was included and she was so good I wanted to give her extra but I had little cash on me and I didn't want to insult her. After waiting a few minutes after she left I was able to go back into the app and leave her an extra tip. Other than that she never implied or paused for a tip and thanked me for using their service. I used Soothe for the first time today and LOVED it! I have a membership with Massage Envy, which really doesn't have great massages but it's cheap. I try to go regularly but I don't so I have a lot of credits which allows me to do an hour and a half for no upcharge when I go. I had an appointment for yesterday but had to cancel because work that was being done on my house wasn't finished. Probably for the best because I spent about 6 hours cleaning my house after the workers left. Needless to say I could've used a massage after that marathon cleaning session.
