Overall, I'm a fan of this place. Our washer/dryer has not been working and management takes…read moreforever to fix things at my apartment complex. I've been here twice now. I love most things. It's very clean, the machines are new, the machines clean well and quickly, plenty of carts and space to fold. You can bring detergent pods which is awesome. I was nervous that I'd have to buy liquid soap. They also use a card instead of quarters which is convenient for me. My only issue is with the card system. You can load credit on the laundry card via a debit card, credit card, or cash. However, the minimum you can add is $10 which is frustrating. We added $40 to our card. Turned out we needed $41 to finish our laundry. We couldn't just add $1. We had to add $10. So I docked it one star for that inconvenience. Also sharing the prices below as of July 2025. Washing Prices (Regular | Premium) $10 | $10.50 Extra Large $7 | $7.50 Mid-Large $6 | $6.50 Medium $5 | $5.50 Small Extras include "Heavy Soiled" for $1.00 and "Extra Rinse" for $0.50. Drying $1 x 20 minutes Large $0.75 x 20 minutes Medium

The elderly hillbilly man who works there was extremely rude to my child and I. As first time…read morecustomers, I was delighted to see such a family oriented place with a play area, toys, and many kids to play with. My 4 year old son quickly ran over, engaged with the other children, touched a couple of toys and placed them back on the ground where he found them. He lost interest very quickly and came back with me. Everything was a mess when we arrived; toys scattered everywhere; other kids playing. After my son and the others cleared the area, we were screamed at in front of all the other customers "IS YOUR KID GOING TO CLEAN UP OR WHAT?!" I replied "Sir, he put everything back exactly the way he found it. I was watching him very closely. The area was a mess when we got here.. And why are you screaming at me??? That is very unprofessional way to handle customers and their children". He replies (still screaming) "WELL JUST PUT AWAY WHATEVER HE TOUCHED AND LEAVE THE REST THERE. JUST DO HIS PART". I asked him why cleaning was only being enforced with my son? Why was he being singled out?? I asked who was in charge and if there was somebody else I could talk to. I was extremely offended but trying to keep my composure. I came to this laundromat based on positive online reviews. He told me that he was the only one in charge, which was disappointing. I am not sure why they would hire somebody who looks like a homeless drug addict with terrible customer service (and dare I say racist???) to represent their business ‍

Only caveat is washers are pricey $2.99 or $3.99 Drying is at $1.99 for 28mins. Definitely is humbling to know there is an extreme convenience to investing in your own washer and dryer. But nonetheless, I would recommend the is laundromat for sure. I'd come back here again.

Let's face it, everyone occasionally needs a laundromat for whatever reasons, mine was washing a…read morecomforter and drying it properly. You see, putting things that big and heavy in a washer at my complex would kill the poorly maintained machines. I know a few neighbors come here so today was my first time. In general, Chicago and University is a sketchy to eccentric intersection. The sidewalks are always stained with who knows what, so tread carefully. The parking lot is another hazard, and you're probably wondering why I gave this place 4 stars, right? Well, in the therum of 'no choice', this is actually one of the better options in Riverside. Inside it's huge, clean, well organized, and brightly lit. I saw people cleaning the floors and machines, plus, there's a security guard. As a first timer, I needed a debit card, which is .50 one-time, just don't lose it, plus a 3% transaction fee, which was negligible as I'll illustrate, and you can check your balance at the same kiosk. I figured $20 was enough to wash and dry the comforter, and my credit union revealed that the total cost was $20.60 including the fees. mentioned. Looking back, I should have used the so-called 80lb machine because the 100lb in front was bigger than needed, and a little over $12 was deducted. On Tuesday and Thursday those machines are $2 less to use, according to a big banner. I found the machine was really good, though and faster than expected. It gave me a little time to grab lunch around the corner at Canton Chinese Food. The comforter was clean and easily transferred to the large dryer without using a provided cart. That's when I discovered someone's panties were still in the washer when I used it. I left those on top of the machine BTW. Finally, the dryer was pretty inexpensive, a few dollars maybe, and in 29 minutes it thoroughly dried without feeling scorched on the high setting. All-in-all, it's a necessary evil, but this spot seems like a good option for me in the future.
