Completely terrible experience with Sooner Kia. Was left with a $1,500 repair bill for a Jeep I was promised & swore to, by them, that they would fix. They did try to figure it out for a month & three weeks...before pretty much just giving it back to me & saying it is what it is. If I brought it back I might have to pay for them to even look at it... It HAD to be fixed so could drive it, so 4-wheel Parts fixed it in TWO days. Sooner Kia techs beat the piss out of the control arms so bad they had to be replaced, re-adjustments, & Sooner Kia's alignment was all red & SCARY all over the road. I tried calling & texting manager to pay this $1,500 bill...to no avail, as is same with every other department there, so not surprising. He texted back once & told me they would have a meeting about it...I guess the verdict was, SCREW ME. Terrible experience & I never would have traded my Ram in, if had known was going to get screwed so bad by Sooner Kia on this stupid Jeep. Multiple things they said they "Fixed for me" while had it for a month & a half...NOPE. Just more lies. I was having a GREAT experience with them, until I was swept under the rug while a whole paycheck of mine went to fixing this Jeep. Especially from a guy named Thomas, he yelled at me infront of my sister and our 3 kids over a misunderstanding and didn't even give us the chance to understand what was going on. He scared our kids, and the both of us. After talking to the manager Jeff , they lowered the price it was to fix my car and reassured me that they would let me know if he was going to continue working there or not. That did not happen. If you get a warranty through Kia, you have to get your oil changes there or it voids your warranty. He did not let me know, and he is still working there. Now with all that being said, it's been over a month and still haven't heard anything. Went there today to get my oil changed, and noticed he was still there. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! If they genuinely cared about our safety, the way we felt, and our kids like they said they did then he would no longer be employed. The buying experience was great, and then it rained. I financed with $5k down a used 2016 Mustang and bought a 40k 4 year warranty. When it rained, I realized tons of water was coming in the back seat of the car. A glass shop in Norman told me the leak was around the 3rd taillight above the rear window. The Dealer had the car in inventory when it rained and with the amount of water leaking into the backseat, I have a hard time believing they were not aware of the issue. They sold me a car being fully aware of the issue with water pouring into the cars back seat when it rained. I have only had the car for 3 weeks and have reached out to the dealer to let them know about the issue. I asked for their help with the expense to have the taillight replaced. Due to the location and previous work done on the car prior to my purchase, the rear window will need to be removed to make the repair. The repair cost me $325. UPDATE: KIA has declined to assist with the repair. Brent also stated that I declined the warranty. Which is false, I purchased the extended warranty that was offered at the time of sale. ADDITIONAL INFO: My car was previously owned by a woman, Brent said a 60 year old man traded in the car. Which is a lie and an aggressive sales tactic to sell me a car with a known structural integrity issue causing water to pour into the back seat when it rains. This overall was a terrible car buying experience. I have been accused of lying, not buying the warranty and also lied to during the sales experience on top of zero assistance with the issue. I did not even receive an offer to look at the issue or a referral to get the issue resolved. A $20000 vehicle with 69k miles and a $3000 warranty should not come with a huge leak in the backseat when it rains. There has only been 1.24 inches of rain in the past 14 days. Last night the rain was bad enough to notice the leak. read more

Took our 2024 Kia Soul in for oil change. Being elderly & trusting, we told them to see if anything else was needed, it had 28000 miles on it at that time. Husband is disabled vet so gave them our tax free number. He said he would give us a better discount than military. They petra fuel injection, which was definitely not necessary, since our car had none of the symptoms for it. They told us did not need tire rotation, although they did it anyway & then said we needed new tires, but declined them. Did not mention this to us. Changed brake fluid, probably necessary or needed. Changed cabin filter, charged 15.00 labor, changed air filter, charged 10.00 labor. When we get our oil changed at express, they have never charged labor for changing filters. They charged us 2.50 for document fee, no idea what that is. Charged us 39.23 for shop supplies, no idea what supplies since we were already charged for all parts & fluids. Also showed coupon for sythetic oil special , charged 10.00 more than coupon special. Also charged 26.41 for tax. Did not show us total until already charged on our card, did not explain any charges & we were there over 2 hours. Total bill was 618.00. Needless to say, we will not return or buy any more cars from this dealer. read more

lied about needed services wanted to charge $4,000 to replace entire steering column and rack I asked specifically about the power steering coupler that is a known issue. they claimed it wasn't a part of my 2014 Kia forte. finally gave up and tore it down myself and yes that was the proble $4 part and a lot of my time and effort since I'm not a professional but it's all back together and driving great now. these people are liars and thieves offered me $1000 on the trade in even though they would sell it for $15k. glad I didn't accpet. read more

I can't get my google review to show so until I can get that updated I am leaving a review here... I absolutely HAVE TO tell you how horrible Jeff Jones in the service department is. Three months after purchasing our cars (3 to be exact) my daughter was rear ended. We thought taking it to Sooner Kia was the best place to take it to ensure everything was done right. Billy received our Sportage in on April 10th and was very professional from day one! He did not hesitate to communicate with me or my daughter to let me know what was going on. Then all of a sudden he said his manager Jeff was taking over. EVERYTHING WENT DOWNHILL FROM THERE! Jeff told us our vehicle was ready on May 3rd. We went to pick it up only to discover it was not fixed. The hatch wouldn't close flush, there was paint on the right passenger tail light, the camera was still broke and the under carriage was not replaced. Not only did we have to point all of this out to Jeff, we had to go look at another Sportage to show him the under carriage that had fallen off. All of this was totally unacceptable! From then on, there was LACK OF COMMUNICATION with Jeff. If we called, he wouldn't take our phone calls. I would call and have to leave a message and he would call my daughter. He avoided me as much as he could. I finally had the chance to go in June 5th in person and how convenient, our vehicle was ready! But Jeff was no where to be found. During this whole ordeal, Billy and Bruce were awesome!!! They did not mind speaking to me but couldn't tell me anything because Jeff had our information. They tried to help me but Jeff kept their hands tied by not even communicating with them, his own employees! Needless to say, it's a shame one person can ruin the great experience I have had with Sooner Kia. I loved working with Joe and Jordan from day 1 of buying my 3 vehicles. I loved working with Ryan in Finance. I loved working with Jeret as he checked to make sure everything was going good. I loved working with Billy getting our oil changes and then taking in our Sportage due to the accident. I loved talking to Bruce as he would try to help. I hated my interactions with Jeff after he tried to tell us our vehicle was ready when it wasn't and then not talking to us about what was going on when it was getting fixed. Even as we were finalizing everything for us to take our vehicle yesterday, June 5th, Jeff was gone but had returned and was hiding in the bay area trying to get Jeret's attention to come let him know what was going on. After Jeret graciously handled everything for us to take our vehicle, Jeff wanted to come following behind Jeret like he really did something. I had to call back up there to speak with Jeff and he still wouldn't talk to me! When he found out what I wanted to ask, he got on the phone. Sooner Kia, you are great except for your Service Department Manager Jeff. He makes it hard to want to refer people to buy a car from your dealership. I had to change the stars from 5 stars to 1 star for Jeff only! Everyone else gets 5 stars but unfortunately this review reflects Jeff which reflects the whole dealership. read more

Very deceptive people. Insist you have to buy the $1995.00 Sooner package. Understood the trade in value. Attempted to make a deal on a car. Their offer was ridiculous from the start. Walked away due to the numbers being so far apart and didn't want to hassle with that much difference. Was met 10 sec later by manager and offered an additional $3500 onto original trade offer. Refused to negotiate further with them due to them not attempting to make a good deal with both of us. Only them. Got instant trade offer for 3 times the original offer from another sister dealership named Boomer Kia who stated the $1995 package was optional too. Sooner Kia inflated car price by $1995 added a doc fee of an additional $699 and then offered 1/3 of the trade in price. Their offer was higher than MSRP with me giving them a $10,000 trade. These people don't even attempt to make a fair deal. read more

Don't fall for the spam they mail out. They mail fliers about a jackpot game out. The one that came to my address said I won $5,000. I called the number on the flier, put in my confirmation number, and was told I was a winner. I drove 20 minutes to get to the dealership, and they told me my number wasn't actually a true winner and instead of the prize the flier said I won, I won a $5 Walmart gift card. They lie and scam to get you to come to their dealership. The fact that a major company would lie and mislead people to lure them to their dealership is wrong and just strange. Beware of buying from this company they sold my wife a car the salesman tavion claimed all wheel drive even explained how the nob made it work All false nob changed modes for sport eco so on. So anyway get insurance on car when get insurance verification in mail it states car 2 wheel drive so I run Vin and yes only 2 wheel. So I call dealership explain to them what happened everyone oh we'll make this right then get the run around finally get ahold of tavion tried to say he told us then admitted he didn't and also admitted it was all his fault. Talk to GM. He said he will see what he can do then blows me off. Talked to sales manager Raymond informed me that they fired tavion because they can't have salesmen selling cars under false information (admitting fault) then said but that is why they have you sign so many times as they rush you through financial. And to this day I have never seen 4x4,all wheel drive on any paperwork. And on top of all this their service manager sends my wife out in a loaner car with absolutely no gas at all in it she barely made it to gas station it was spitting and sputtering when she made it into station this was the service manager that did this. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I took my 2011 kia soul to get the engine replaced after the original had a catastrophic failure. Since then, I took it in due to check engine light coming on. The codes indicated the O2 sensor and the oil valve needed replacement. I had to pay for both as these items were not covered by the replacement engine warranty. I was told the warranty only covered the engine and not any other external items, such as the water pump. Within a couple weeks, the O2 sensor failed again and I took it back for replacement as it was under warranty. About 2-3 weeks later, the car exhibited the same symptoms that preceded the original engine failure. Taking it back to Sooner Kia, I was informed that the water pump was leaking and most of the coolant had leaked out. The manager of the service dept. stated that the pump was not covered, even though this pump came as a part of the replacement engine. After some discussion, he agreed to replace it at no cost. Last week, my car began to have the same symptoms of the O2 sensor failure again. I had the diagnostics code read (thanks Autozone!) and found it had gone bad. After I called their service dept. to make an appointment, the service manager called me back and said that they were going to charge me for the service in spite of the sensor still being under warranty. "We have already lost money on your vehicle. We won't charge you for the part, but there will be a service charge." The part is a $60 part, and their service charge has been at least $233. I will never do any business with this company again. Ever. read more

i went with a friend to help buy a new car as it had been a couple of DECADES since you bought a car. New cars or at least New Kia's are still? In Short supply. My friend decided on a new Kia Soul. They had a couple in stock not the colors she wanted. She test drove what they had in stock to see which model she wanted. She decided on a model with power seats and the bigger navigation in the dash. They gave the price i got Kalida Kia on the phone as got a price and as their processing fee was lower i got Sooner Kia to take off some money and toss in a window tint job for my friend. Her salesperson C J was easy to work with. She decided on a color they had at their other dealership which is Boomer Kia 10 miles away off of I-240 C J literally had to go get the car and have it driven to norman which took a couple of HOURS. Once the car was there i went out to look it over and although this car lot is 10 miles away once it got there i realized WHY the finance guy asked me if Kalida was still charging MARKET adjustment? i informed him no and we settled on the price of the new car. When thew car arrived with 10 miles on it i noticed that they had it MARKED up 3500 for market adjustment over MSRP. Luckily we bought it in Norman and did our pricing as it may be LEGAL to charge market adjustment it is STILL unethical , bottom line Nice bunch to work with here but do your research on new car pricing read more
