TL/DR: Great response time, reasonable rates, timelines met, great product…read more Some lovely lad decided to break into my house and along his journey to entry, he broke 2 of my screens. Not a good experience so far…read more.. 5 shutters installed...4 do not close properly. When moving the right side shutter to open the window, when placing the shutter to close it will not close properly, The shutter itself must be lifted and pushed up into the frame. Also lots of light coming through and several of the shutters are warped, the levers do not close entirely. I called to have the shutters repaired so they closed effortlessly. Repair guys came out and told me that's the way they are made. I informed them that the living room shutter which was previously installed by another company does not do it. They went on to say it's the poly carb material that makes them like this and the reason my other closed perfectly without issue is because it was a better quality made out of wood. Sooo I wanted to say your product is inferior therefore I should have less expectations??? But I held back. I called the office to express frustration. The lady who answered the phone provided me with a number to text the pictures and video. Meanwhile I go to use my laptop which I rarely use and discover it was broken, cracked open on the bottom. So I sent another text asking for someone to please call me back because it had already been a few days and no call back no response. Finally I get a call from the owner who was already on defense mode. He started off stating he had talked to the guys and essentially their story was different, it certainly was not truthful. He stated the guys said I was with them during the entire install therefore the computer couldn't have broken. This is not true! Yes, I showed them each room but I didn't stay. I told them I was working and to please do my work office last. Which they did. While they were in the work office I locked my computer and remained in the office until they were completed. I did not supervise them while they were in my other personal office where my laptop was nor any other room for that matter. As a matter of fact, most of the time they were here I was on a conference call. Anyway, the owner was defensive when talking to me and wanted to know why I didn't report the broken laptop earlier to which I informed him that I rarely use it and I reported it the minute I discovered it's condition. I'm the only person in the household so no other person could've done it. And if the owner had looked at the pictures I sent him, the laptop is sitting fairly close to the window. In hindsight I should've moved it before the install. $2k computer. The owner continued to ask me questions which clearly he did not look at the video and at the pictures and I told him quite frankly you haven't done the research or review before calling me. It was all a blame game like they were the victims. I was certainly frank when I made the comment and apparently he didn't like it because he said he was being disrespected. I told him as the owner you should be more open to feedback especially since it concerns your personal business. He went on to say he was being disrespected again. Listen, if you have no clue what is going on and call a customer and act like a victim...I'm going to give honest feedback. If the guys took ownership of the laptop incident it really wouldn't have been a big deal. The fact that they lied about it is not good business nor should they be left alone. Another learned lesson. So apparently someone is coming out to look at repairs. I'm expecting a call which I don't think will happen. Because I have block wall construction is the issue per the owner. Had I known about this and the quality of the product...I'd never gone with this company.

This was a great experience from start to finish. Wanted to get some very large, custom screens…read moremade for our glass and iron front doors where the glass opens. Southwest Sun Screens was one of my first calls based on their strong reviews and excellent feedback. I knew the moment Ryan answered the phone that I was talking with someone who genuinely cared about his company and earning my business. Ryan answered all my questions and offered solutions and ideas based on his extensive experience. It was like talking with a trusted friend who is an expert in his field. He came to the house exactly when he said he would and we talked "everything screens and windows". He is super knowledgeable and friendly and was willing to share best practices and his best results so that our screens were exactly what we wanted. He measured multiple times to ensure everything was perfect and would fit tight. The doors that the screens are going into are custom, and therefore not exactly, perfectly straight and square, though you would never know by looking at them. He helped us decide on the fabric, the frame, the design and the clips to hold the screens in place, always guiding us using our happiness as his barometer, which I really appreciated. Ryan and his partner came back to do the install and arrived exactly when they said they would. The screens didn't quite fit, too tight (no good deed goes unpunished, right? He wanted them tight) and he was beyond apologetic and explained exactly what had happened. He said he felt bad and wanted to get it right for us, but that he would do whatever it takes to remake the screens without costing us an additional penny, and even said if we decided we didn't want them, he would understand. I truly wasn't upset about this at all, there will be glitches with everything, that's not the question, the question is "how does the company handle it?" Ryan couldn't have handled it better, again, keeping our happiness and satisfaction "top of mind." You just don't find this type of caring service very often. He remeasured several more times and we discussed exactly what he would modify to make it work for us. He returned precisely when he said he would, always texting to let me know he was on his way, with the new screens, got them all installed, even installed some weatherstripping I had purchased to shore up a small gap from the door not being 100% square. They look incredible. I couldn't ask for more in terms of quality, timeliness, conscientiousness, care and honesty. I highly recommend Southwest Sun Screens to anyone and everyone, even if you're just shopping around, call and speak with Ryan and he will make you feel like family. The good kind of family, not the "annoying relative on Thanksgiving" kind :-)

Greg, the owner, came out with his wife for the initial consultation, walked us through the different options, and helped us pick colors and styles that matched each room without ever making us feel pressured. The pricing was very reasonable, especially for motorized blinds, and the turnaround was excellent. Our blinds arrived in about two weeks, and installation couldn't have gone smoother. Greg was in and out in less than an hour, everything worked perfectly before he left, and there wasn't a single thing to clean up afterward. My toddler loves pressing the up and down button on her new blinds and loves the fact that she can see out the windows and watch our squirrels in the backyard now! It's always nice to support a small owner-operated business that takes pride in their work, and Coyote Blind Company definitely fits that description. The entire process was professional, efficient, and exactly as promised. I'd 100% recommend Greg and his team if you're looking for quality window coverings in the Phoenix area.
