Poor Experience with Long Waits Despite Appointment scheduled…read more I had an appointment scheduled for 7:00 AM today at the Sonora Quest location in Peoria, but it was a frustrating experience from the start. When I arrived, there were already 16 people ahead of me. I didn't get checked in until about 7:10 AM because the line at the kiosk was so long. A big issue I noticed was that many of the people waiting were walk-ins, which seemed to slow everything down for those of us who had actually booked appointments. The staff was polite, but the system clearly wasn't handling the volume well. Suggestion for improvement: Sonora Quest should offer online check-in in addition to the kiosk. This would let scheduled patients confirm their arrival ahead of time, reduce congestion in the waiting area, and help prioritize appointment holders over walk-ins. Unfortunately, this was not a good experience at all today. I understand labs can get busy, especially in the mornings, but with an appointment I expected a much smoother process. I hope they implement better check-in options soon to make visits more efficient for everyone.

I set my appointment on line at the SonoraQuest website, but it NEVER shows up at the store. EVERY TIME!!!! There was no one in line or waiting at the location, but they refused a walk-in. THERE WAS NO ONE waiting. The receptionist blamed me for the error... Her quote... Then you must be doing something wrong..." Rather than asking if she could help... I was dismissed. If you go with someone, have them take all belongings before you go in. Wear gym wear. No necklaces. No rings. Not metal. Leave phone and wallet with friend. Saves a good 10 minutes easy. Plus no bizarre changing into gowns. After 20 you know the game. Let me know if you have questions. This crew is the best though out of all on the block. Comfortable room. No gowns with what seem like see through windows. Privacy. Quick. When prepared and done right. Got in and out on MRI brain with and without contrast in like 30 minutes behind the closed door when normally takes an hour!
