Bad service from the owner. I knew it was her because it was the same exact lady who is in the photo on their website. Made me feel pressured to pick up my food in 10 mins when they have incorrect hours posted on Apple Maps. Only told me this was an issue and seemed frustrated and inconvenienced when I said I would be more like 15 because I'm coming from Glen Ellen. Never said anything about the hours to me until after she took my order. Had I'd known I called 5 mins before closing and not 35 like I thought I was, I would've never called in the first place. Bad service on the phone and same when I walked in. It was a different lady who was my cashier but the owner was sitting and waiting by the front door when I walked in. They didn't say anything to me when I walked in, just expected me to pay without even confirming my name. Still tipped and was very polite to both the owner and cashier but the vibe was so bad. If I didn't feel so rushed I would've asked for utensils and salsa, but at least the cashier offered me a napkin. On top of this there was what looked like a beard hair in my guacamole. It was a short wirey dark hair. For reference, I have long blonde hair and there's no one else I was with when I was eating my food who it could've come from. I like to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt when it comes to things but this just left me disgusted on top of the service being poor. read more

Had the lamb tacos, pork tacos and carnita tacos. They were delicious and hearty! Even brought out chips and salsa (delicious hummus) to munch on while we waited for our food. Will for sure return soon. Great outdoor space to eat as well! read more

The mole here is to die for! My husband got the shrimp burrito that he said was delicious. The salsa that came with the chips was so good I bought some to take home. Hands down our favorite Mexican food in Sonoma! These fellas are fair in their pricing, great at customer service and even offer vegetarian options, which means a lot to our family. I give this place 3.5 stars. It was nice and clean. The hostess was very nice and helpful. She explained the meals well. The food i got tasted very fresh but a little under seasoned for my taste. The patio was very nice too. But I was looking for a variety of the "flavored mexican waters" like i see in Southern California. But they only had one flavor. I missed that. After a day of biking through the scenic and winding Sonoma vineyards and sipping wine at every opporitunity, we were famished. Unfortunately most of the restuarants close relatively early ~6pm in the Sonoma area. We consulted our AirBnB hosts who are locals and they suggested we try "Sonoma Eats" taco truck! As the name suggests this is where Sonoman's come for Tacos, or at least should. Their tacos were authentic and quickly prepared to order. My husband and I each ordered an Al Pastor taco and a Carne Asada taco. The Al Pastor tacos were out of this world. On par with some of the best we've had in all our travels. The Carne asada tacos were also delicious but nothing to write home about. The prices were absolutely a steal at $1.75 per taco for the basic ones, although they also have some specialty tacos in the $2 range. We found that about 2 tacos is filling, so this is an extremely cheap dinner option! All in all I highly recommend giving Sonoma Eats a chance! This place is A M A Z I N G! I was very skeptical in trying this place because of all the other questionable taco trucks I have tried in town. However, I decided to give it a chance. Ordered ahead for pick up and everything was ready and waiting upon arrival. Service was fast and friendly, and they even had some outdoor seating which looked inviting. The burritos (hers breakfast, mine steak burrito) were delicious! All of the individual components are well seasoned and the it comes together in a flavor explosion in your mouth. We also got some of the argintinan style chicken empanadas, which are baked, not fried, that also hit the spot. Portion sizes are fairly generous on the burrritos so bring your appetite. Was told by numerous friends to stop by and see Esteban and try the tacos. First thing, first. The smell wafting in the air as you walk in was hypnotizing. Now I have had some mean tacos before, but these were AMAZING!!!!!! The special was Beef Cheek and I couldn't resist. Super tender, flavor coming out of every strand of meat. The tortilla was soft and warm, and the salsa on top just added even more flavor once I bit into it. I had to go back again and try the Pastor tacos as well. Just as amazing as the beef cheeks. This place has really stepped up their game lately. I'd been to their truck several times in the past couple of years and I'd never been disappointed or anything but I also wasn't super amazed. I've been a few times now since they moved into the space on HWY12 and they've got to have the best burritos in Sonoma. The al pastor is delicious, pollo asaso very tasty (and generous portions of meat), and they also have a great vegan option with mushrooms and avocado. We took some cocktail mixers home with us and they were delicious as well. One was a strawberry margarita mix made with Watmaugh strawberries and the other was a more traditional lime and mint margarita. The mole burrito is out of this world delicious, the shrimp tacos are the best in the valley as are the very unique and amazing lamb tacos. Desserts are also too of the line. It is great for late night food cravings , most places in Sonoma close early so having an option that stays open late is great. The location is great too have access to the tables is very nice especially during the summer months. I have tried a few things on the menu; my favorites are Mole Enchiladas and The Pastor taco. If you want a full meal I would go for the Mole Enchiladas if you want something on the lighter side I would go with the Pastor tacos, both are delicious. The prices are pretty reasonable for a food truck. They are all supper friendly there and quick to get your food done. I would highly recommend giving Sonoma Eats a chance! We discovered this gem of a restaurant after trying several Mexican restaurants. It is better then El Molina and about 3 blocks south from there. The food is terrific, we have gone back 4 times amd have brought friends. The tamale mole was the best mole I have had. Very generous portions and the service is great. Stephan the manager takes care of you. They have taco Tuesday with shrimp tacos that are the best. Nice patio to sit and occasional live music. Highly recommend. read more

Al pastor was below acceptable. Dry and bland. I'm used to it being bright red and bursting with flavor, I did like the pineapple addition though. Great tacos besides choosing al pastor. We came upon this gem looking for Delicious Mexican Food! The owner gave us premium customer service The mole enchiladas, are exquisite! The mole, is out of this world! The shrimp, carne asada, & chicken tacos are delicious! Grilled Chicken Nachos, outstanding too. I ordered mole enchiladas and he gave me a red one and a green one to try, and they are fabulous!!! The red mole is amazing and the center of my attention, yum! We were given this delicious pumpkin seed dip with chips and salsa to eat while we waited and it is amazing!!!
