This was suppose to be a Pepsi/Coke, however it tasted like flavored water. You honestly couldn't even tell it was suppose to be a soda.

When you pay almost $50 on Uber Eats, only to have Sonic totally not care about the food they serve. The pictures speak for themselves, and this doesn't include the hamburger that the lettuce was almost brown, the tomato so soft it melted off the burger, and the fries that were barely cooked. Not sure why the management allows their staff to send out food like this. I had to throw the meal picture below out because I couldn't eat it. The footlong was so burned all the way around, I think they forgot to take it out of the microwave...at least that's how it looks like it was cooked.

At this very moment, I am sitting inside Sonic while I wait for Walmart to finish working on my car. Ergo, I will take the time to give this place its very first review. First and foremost, this Sonic is more like a regular fast food restaurant. There won't be any parking service like Sonic is famous for. Instead, there are two drive-through lanes and a dine in area complete with outside dining area. Food is better than usual which is often associated with new restaurants as the place is brand, spankin' new and everyone is happy to work there or at least "happy to work there." I got the chiabata breakfast sandwich combo with Powerade. Delicious. Kind of upset the cheese sticks were not their "massive size" I heard of, but I can let that slide. Overall, a solid four out of five star rating. However, I am in a very good mood given they did not complain that I was sitting in there for some time waiting for my car. Therefore, five stars.

Horrid wait in the car lane, what happened to pull your car over to wait versus have everyone else's ice cream melt and make them late?

Avoid the Oreo Cheesecake shake at Sonic restaurants. It tastes sour. Cheeseburgers were fine.

He wanted a big hamburger. We came in after lunch time and he got the 16 oz. burger and a side of fries (not keto or carnivore). I haven't had a potato since last Christmas and these fries looked REAL (not the frozen or processed fries most restaurants use which I wouldn't waste my time eating). I had to try a few. I wasn't hungry so I just ate a few of his fries and tried a couple bites of his burger. The fries were yummy. Almost addictive. I asked the gal at the counter about what kind of oil they used to fry potatoes in. Sadly, they use soybean oil, not tallow which is what all restaurants used pre-1980. Tallow is at least keto/carnivore friendly. My husband loved the burger minus the bun. I thought the burger was absolutely DELICIOUS. So I'm rating this 4 stars not 5 because the dirty seed oil ruined what could have been the best french fries. By the way....Steak & Shake uses tallow for frying their fries in.

Excellent Smoked Wings and Great Happy Hour Spot…read more Stopped by Broken Barrel Tavern at Palm Bay Road and Babcock and had a great experience. Service was prompt and friendly, and the happy hour specials made it an even better value. I ordered the wing basket with 8 smoked wings and onion petals. The onion petals were crispy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the spicy remoulade sauce. For the wings, I tried both the Carolina Vinegar and the Hot Garlic flavors. The smoked wings themselves were outstanding, and the Hot Garlic sauce was especially memorable because it featured real garlic, which added incredible flavor. These are definitely wings I will come back for and highly recommend to anyone visiting. My partner ordered the BBQ pulled pork quesadillas with seasoned fries. The fries were more like freshly cut chips, nicely seasoned and delicious, and the quesadillas were excellent as well. Overall, Broken Barrel Tavern delivered great food, quick service, and a relaxed atmosphere. If you're in the Melbourne area and looking for outstanding smoked wings, this place is absolutely worth a visit. We'll definitely be back.

Went for lunch on a Friday and they had two servers and only one working the dining area. We sat in the very dark dining area. Every surface was painted black. Lighting was pretty poor and it was hard to read the menus. Ordered a pulled pork platter and a pulled pork sandwich. They both came with "fried chips" and the platter had another side and we chose beans. Bourbon Bbq sauce was our choice. The pork was good. Good portions on both sandwich and platter. Beans had some "heat" which I don't favor but my son really liked. The chip fries or fried chips - whichever they call them were seasoned with a garlic salt it tasted like. However they could have used about another minute I the fryer. The bigger ones were raw in the middle. May have been a byproduct of a large party in their event room throwing off their timing. But if cooked a bit more they would be a unique side for the area and good. Server was stretched thin. Freshens my son's drink but not mine until he brought the check. By then meal was over. I had water. Not difficult. Rib special looked good from a distance and I heard they are known for wings. Maybe next time. Noticed there is a private room for events that most restaurants do not have. So a point to consider.

The gravy was OK, but was separating a little/ runny and was extremely hot. so overall, I would give my food like a 3.75/5. we shared food and my wife echoed these sentiments. my wifes meal. first, I will only say that I didn't feel like you got very much portion wise for her protein, maybe we are a little spoiled as there is a Soulfood restaurant closer to where we live where the price is about the same but you get a lot more meat. however, flavor is king and... flavor of the oxtails here was lacking. my wife felt they were underseasoned. the rice with them was... rice, didn't really pick up any of the meetings from the broth/marrow of the oxtail bones. her mac & cheese was quite quite good, I ended up eating most of it. The collard greens were probably the worst thing we ate, no flavor at all, even after adding hot sauce. Normally my wife loves collard greens and I don't eat much, but she was more than happy to let me have as much of them as I wanted, but after a couple of bites, I stopped. overall, I would rate the food she ordered as 2.5/5. between our meals, one iced tea and tip it was $50. Again, the service was very good. My food was pretty good. My wife's food underwhelming. overall, Respectfully, we're not from the area so our odds of returning were not high anyway, but there was nothing else would really draw us back if we were to return to the area. my final note would be, they were not very busy, but it seemed like most of the customers where we could tell what they ordered had ordered the catfish so that made be indicative of something we or someone else might want to order on a future visit.
