Service at bar has always been excellent. Always choose bar instead of tables as over the year the tables have been hit or miss. Been at bar for last few years and from all bartenders there now and ones that have moved on it has been spectacular service. Thanks Allie, Dan, Celest, Ms. T. And many others for great service. The Ambiance in the bar is great as people talk to each other not just who they came in with. This alone was a great thing. Find that a lot of the people from the Bar area Live in Sebastian to Barefoot Bay. The food is usually adequate to good. But doesn't come hot it is more a warm meal. Also, the seafood tends to be overcooked, not the cooks fault conveyor belts are not really a good way to do seafood maybe faster but not better. The steaks almost always s come out cooked very well and to temp as requested. Overall that is why a 4 star not a 5 star. Company needs to rethink out of the box for food prep and cooking. The bartender working tonight 4/14/26 At 5pm who we've never seen at Ruby Tuesday before overcharged us on our bill. Then, when we brought it to her attention, she argued with us, even though she knew she overcharged us for alcoholic drink we didn't EVER order!! It was a nightmare last night we waited over an hour for our meals. The service was terrible I had a coupon he forgot to take it off. My husband burger fell apart if places are serving big burgers they need rolls that hold up. I absolutely love this place and am so thankful they are here in my hometown of Sebastian. The food is always very tasty and well made with great portion sizes. For the affordable alone, it is really amazing how you can feed two people under $30 if you're on a budget especially when you download their app and receive the promotions. Cannot beat it. We arrived at the Sebastian restaurant at 11:45am. We were given menus and were seated right away as it was definitely not busy. We sat and waited for 15 minutes but were never approached. I keep giving this place a chance and it still disappoints. The entry doors were filthy and it just smelled musty inside. Hostess was friendly enough. Salad bar improved from last visit with cleaner than normal serving spoons. Entree was mediocre at best. There was no hot water in the restroom when I went to wash my hands. Saw a huge leak in the ceiling along with a container collecting the dripping water and I'm assuming that's where the smell was coming from. We were there last Thursday for the $8.99 special. One of the main reasons we go is for the salad bar. Unfortunately the salad bar was practically empty and this was around 4pm. A little late posting this but having just had a great customer service experience somewhere else, I am motivated to let everyone know about the horrible experience we had here. We were here for an early dinner on 12/13 since we had a BOGO. Never been to a Ruby Tuesday, but my sister has told me enough not to have high expectations. We got a sampler platter for an appetizer. It comes with boneless wings. I bit into one and noticed it had a little bit of pale pink in the center, it was on the edge, but I ate it. My SO got a thicker one that was clearly undercooked. The waitress took the undercooked chicken (along with a potato skin we hadn't had a chance to eat yet), but didn't offer or bring a replacement. My SO then ordered the fried shrimp and catfish platter. The shrimp were fine but the catfish was so limp and soggy you knew without trying it that it was improperly fried. When this was brought to the waitress's attention, she removed it, again without offering replacement or asking if he wanted to order anything else. After all this, nothing was taken off the check. We asked if the manager had been notified and she said yes, but we already had gotten an entree taken off. Well, yeah, because we had a BOGO but part of the appetizer wasn't eaten and half of his entree wasn't. Plus, what manager doesn't talk to a customer that is complaining, especially complaining multiple times? A terrible one, that's what. She eventually came back with an additional $10 off. Oh, and their Diet Coke tasted horrible. I bet they never clean their soft drink dispenser. read more

Thanksgiving Day we went to celebrate my birthday along with Thanksgiving. upon arriving I had to yell into the bar area for a hostess. mind you there were only a few people in the restaurant. Finally seated and proceeded to order with anxious expectations of a good meal and day out. I ordered the 'New' dish of crabmeat stuffed shrimp and highly recommend it be removed from the menu. The shrimp obviously frozen and not cooked well and sent back. The crabmeat filling obviously canned. The only thing good was the zucchini and rice sides. The other meal was the Triple something with ribs steak and chicken tenders. Chicken tenders are by far not a compliment to a steak. The steak cut was quite cheap, thin and fatty. Fries were ordered yet zucchini came in replacement. The waitress apologized but it's not her fault it is the chef and the management. Needless to say this was way below quality and way to pricey for what we received. we don't mind paying for good service and good food but when the amount charged did not meet the above we will not be returning. We've been going to Ruby Tuesdays in Sebastian for over 20 years and always enjoyed it, but then came Covid and it seems like during and after that help was hard to find and wait time increased sometimes more than 45 minutes and thanks to the inflation caused by dumb and dumber in office, and prices kept creeping up. I'm sorry to say that the last several times we've eaten there the food served was not hot, barely even warm, sometimes vegetables overcooked and burnt, yet arriving soggy, the portions kept getting smaller and wait times are often excessive. My husband and I came here Last night. We were craving both Outback and Ay Jaliscos but we thought hey we haven't been here in a while and the last time we were here they made a good lemon drop martini. We get here 5:30ish. 3 people at bar. Another table in bar sat and two tables in main dining sat. We sit down. The bartender finishes with the table in bar and comes to take our order. She's really nice. Gets our drinks. I get the lemon drop martini. It comes with lemonade and vodka. No one makes a lemon drop martini with lemonade and vodka. And last time we were there that's not how it was made: this one had more lemonade than vodka. It has vodka, lemon juice, orange liqueur or even triple sec and simple syrup. We get the queso dip for an app which comes out cold and gummy. Meanwhile a line of "door dashers" come in and complain bc they are waiting for their orders and the kitchen gets backed up. We order our dinner. I order the Rib eye "medium rare" with French fries and mushrooms. My husband ordered the quesadillas. Both steaks were over cooked and the presentation was disgusting or I would've taken pics. Meanwhile our food came out before the "door dashers" and our second round of drinks and we had to listen to them complain during our dinner which wasn't pleasant. This food had both of us in the bathroom when we got home and as I write this we still are. Very disappointed in Ruby Tuesday's. And the bathrooms were actually cleaner than the restaurant. Poorly managed, dirty, long waits, and bad attitudes. There were not many cars or tables full here, but we had to wait a long time nonetheless. We came in, no one was up front to seat us, had to wait, after waiting for that, we were seated, we could see how dirty the place and floor was, they need a remodel here, we waited again a long time for someone to come and wait on us. The waitress had a bad attitude, the hostess too. The food was good, it is just expensive here and very small portions. Not worth it. They do not even have gravy for their mashed potatoes. No dinner rolls or bread for your dinner were offered. Not a good restaurant overall. The bathroom and restaurant are not well maintained, dirty and not what we expected at a Ruby. This was our first time at this one in Sebastian and likely our last time. Not a good impression from this restaurant at all. We better stick to Ay Jalisco and Bob Evans. Service is very bad here, they do not have enough help, and the service is bad, long waits, bad attitude, our waitress never came back to check on us how all was or if we needed anything else, we had to flag her down for the bill, they just do not know how to give good service here at all. I do not think a lot of people working here really care at all. It seems like my review is consistent with many on Yelp and Google. I agree, overall, absolutely horrible. We were not impressed with this eatery. There is a lot of room for improvement at this restaurant, one of the worst in this area I would say for a Ruby. The service is slow due to not enough staff. The food was the worst we have ever had. Don't order any of the steaks. 1/8 thick and nothing but fat. Three of us ordered them. One had the burger. Burger was wrong, and sent back. I asked for the manager. He finally came over with a very bad attitude. His name is Jim and he told us that those are the steaks and basically too bad. He said they were suppose to be all fatty, for taste. When asked what he could do to remedy the situation, he said that 2 of us weren't complaining! Rude and totally should not be in a managerial position! One of the staff told us that they were letting go more than half the help tonight! Figures, we hadn't been there since before Covid. This review is somewhere between 2 and 3 stars. The restaurant was very outdated and smelled of wet carpet. The staff was friendly enough and efficient, my food came in a reasonable amount of time. My burger wasn't seasoned and the cook must have smashed all the juice out of the burger because it was dry and overcooked. I am not usually that fussy about my burger, somewhere between raw and burnt is usually good enough. If the cook had got the burger right they would have got the extra star.
