Plenty of shoestring fries. But, my steak was raw. I think I asked for it medium or medium rare. This was the first time in my life I had to ask for a steak to be reheated. I think they just left it back under the warming lamps for 5 minutes which helped little. For the prices and the stories we heard about where their meat comes from and the pride they take in their food, I wasn't expecting this. The sides were ok but not great. The truffle mac and cheese - all I can say is what I mainly tasted was the wax-coated paper container those bread crumbs came from. It's so odd. I was excited to truffle mac and cheese but it did not do it for me. Again, for the price, I've had better. The Brussel sprouts were ok but undercooked for my liking. The asian inspired sauce they come in is excellent. My wife had their ahi tuna special and raved about the romesco sauce on top, which we've never seen before on tuna but she liked it a lot. The owner told us about the people that owned the block and moved this building and other houses to this location. All I could think of is that must be why it's so expensive. Rent must be killer!
