We stopped here twice in one week on our way to Michigan and home and really found a great spot close to the highway that our toddlers can get out and run as they have a gated eating area, which is perfect to stretch our legs, the food was pretty good for fast food, and came out hot. We tried the hot pretzel with cheese dip. The chicken nuggets and French toast sticks. They forgot our dip, but everything was really good. Inside the building, they offer a large toy that the kids can play with while they wait for the food. This again is a great spot if you have children. read more

The worst experience I've ever had. I was there with a friend. they locked the doors during business hours which violates FIRE code. The food was too expensive. A wobbly unstable table caused my drink cup to break. I was made a new drink. I cut myself on that unsafe table. they picked up soapy water using a broom. and then spread the water using a squeegee no Mop or wet floor sign Then the police were called and we were trespassed. We were paying customers. Trespassed over a Cherry Lime drink. a rude racist Assistant Manager. He should be Immediately FIRED! I have autism by the way. read more

The service was fair. My coworker and I went into sonic to get lunch. My coworker went before me. When it got to my turn, I asked for a LARGE combo meal, I waited for a moment for the cashier to ask what I'd like for a side, but that question never came, so I figured my combo meal just came with fries. After the moment passed I said "ok let me ALSO get a MEDIUM thing of mozzarella sticks separate". The cashier said ok and asked what to drink and I paid. My coworker and I went and sat down to wait for our food. Maybe 45 seconds pass and they bring my coworkers food out. I didn't think anything of it because he ordered 2 minutes or less before me. I waited 7 minutes and 38 seconds from the time I ordered, which I thought, maybe it's because of the mozzarella sticks or all of my food was being cooked fresh. I get my meal and it's only the main entree, mozzarella sticks, and a lemonade, so I went back up to the counter and waited another 6 ish minutes for a cashier. When the cashier comes, they said that it would be another upcharge for the fries, which didn't make since to me, because why would I want a medium order of mozzarella sticks with a large meal. I typically don't write reviews but I'm honestly appalled at what just happened. I stopped at the Kokomo sonic for $1.99 plain quarter pound double cheeseburger. There were no other vehicles in drive thru, I ordered quickly and paid at 6:35pm. I thought it was odd the teenager handed me back my card and receipt and told me to have a nice night, then appeared as though he removed his drawer to end his night. I did not have my food at this time but wasn't concerned, so I waited. And waited. A group of teens were horseplaying, no biggie, but no one would look at me. This group disappeared for a bit, perhaps to the front dining area. Several minutes passed and they all came back, one girl looked at me and yelled to her coworkers asking what I was waiting on. She opened the window and rudely asked what I was waiting for. I told her, she closed the door and yelled asking how long it would take. At this point it's been 8 minutes since I paid for my food. She messed with a screen and flirted, playing grabby hands with a boy walking past her. My sandwich was handed to her then shoved out the door at me at 6:44pm. No apology, no explanation, no have a good night. No eye contact. What happened to customer service? I will never be back after being treated like an inconvenience. So first of all this place is slow. We waited 45 minutes to an hour for the entire time. we waited 20 just to get waited on. Then another 15 to get our food. The food was mixed up. Phillip messed up our food again. Not the first time. When the woman took our cards she took like 15 to take it back and run it. She was also severing other people their food while we already ate and were waiting for our cards. This is unacceptable. She couldn't figure out how to charge our cards. Has to be the worst managed Sonic in their entire franchise system. I hate driving an hour to get a specific menu item and then be told "we don't have it" or when they can't figure out how to fulfil my order through the app and won't match the app discount. I always feel like I'm getting cheated at this location. It's worth driving to the Greenwood or Plainfield locations to avoid Kokomo. read more

first of, when i hade ordered a cheeseburger, they did not even give me it! they said that they forgot to put it in the bag. second when I ordered fries I got tater tots. and it was very expensive 15 dollars for just a cheeseburger, hotdog and a drink? personally, they could have listened better, the service could have been quicker and the food could be better. read more

Tried to order from the car in a stall, and was put on hold. Then we got a snippy little gal who absolutely could not get our American hot dog order correct. How hard can that be? I grew up on the era of Dog N' Suds and Sonic! I mean who doesn't love some greasy goodness This location is new. So new that I had to add it to Yelp anyway, service was great and food was very fresh and filling. I believe that it is a little pricy, more than it used to be. And they do not offer free refills. If I pay that much for a coke I at least want one refill. But overall very satisfied and will be back! read more

Probably the worst sonic i've ever been to. My first job after graduating high school was a sonic in northern Idaho worked there for 3 years and loved every minute of it....This sonic is so terrible and ran so contrary to Sonic standards it doesn't deserve to be called a sonic. I have been several times and I have never seen a skating carhop, i've never had a fry that wasn't stale, and more often than not the mint gets forgotten about. If you've never worked at a sonic you'd think "well who cares about the mint" but the mint is a symbol and it is taught to every employee that your customers are worth a "mint" of gold. So the lack of a mints is a very good example of how little they value their customers here, they don't care about quality of service, quality of food, They don't even care enough here to teach their employees that a Bacon Cheeseburger Toaster is not just a bacon cheeseburger, on toast. read more
