Woman at the window was very sweet. The jalapeño burger was good- good bun, good jalapeños, good onions. The oyster Po-Boy was a HUGE miss. Few oysters, way too much mustard, bad burger bread. Who puts mustard on a Po-Boy? Fries are fine, regular frozen unsalted. Milkshakes are very good. Ole fashioned.

Today, I was running behind and had to eat lunch on the fly, so I decided to dine at the Dairy Queen in Welsh, Louisiana while I was in town working. I cannot remember the last time I had eaten at a Dairy Queen Restaurant. The building, which is in a very small town, is extremely date and could use a remodel. The parking lot and the parking situation are not the best. However, the parking lot was cleaned, and the inside of the restaurant was cleaned including the self-serve drink station. I arrived around 2:30 PM with only a couple of other customers and I was immediately greeted by a smiling employee. I ordered the Bacon Two Cheese Deluxe Combo. The burger was a 1/3 lb. double Signature Stack burger with two 100% seasoned beef patties, topped melted Sharp American** and White Cheddar**, Applewood smoked bacon, tomato, onion, lettuce, pickles, ketchup, and mayo on a soft and toasted bun. The burger was beyond what I expected and tasted fantastic. The burger was made to order, perfectly cooked, and all the ingredients tasted fresh. Bite after bite I felt the crunch of the fresh vegetables and crispiness of the bacon. I love good burgers, and this was one of the best burgers I've eaten in a long time. The fries were warm, had no salt, no flavor, and just not good. Next time, I'll just order the burger and not the fries. if the fries would have been hot and tasty, I would have given a 5 - Star rating Great rating.

The customer asked for a certain amount and when the employee came to the window with the wrong amount the customer kindly corrected the mistake. The employee then shook her head and rolled her eyes at the customer as she through the bags on the other side of the counter. I couldn't believe she would be so blatant about it. The rest of the employees there were fantastic and very good at there jobs. But this one older woman is the reason me and my family will never go back there.

Yup! It was cold too! Sent back AGAIN. Not sure what they did, but temp was about 10° warmer, but still cool enough to NOT melt the cheese. Gave up and put the BBQ Sauce on like ketchup and ate the cold sandwich. Why can't they cook the meat with BBQ sauce? That is why I HATE Texas style BBQ. Not BBQ. It's smoked with ketchup on AFTER Cooking! Blech! Beans and Mac/Cheese were good, as was the tea! Thank GOD, they don't use that damned Gold Peak piss water. Beans were better after adding a little BBQ sauce. My son didn't have anything to say about his meal except that the Jalapeno Beans tasted like soap. I confirmed that.
