Literally all of the parking stalls are roped off, so you have no choice but to go through the drive through. The line was moving at a snail pace. It took forever to even place our order once we arrived at the speaker box, however the rep was apologetic for the delay. We ordered the new pickle fries and other items. The food was hot however they didn't give us any condiments including the ranch sauce for the pickle fries. But they were pretty good without the sauce. This Sonic in Covington, GA is terrible. I waited and waited for them to bring the food to me and I waited 35 minutes and finally had to drive thru to get it and the dumb girl knew I was out there. (I placed my order through the app). They always have bad service. They only hire idiots, and the food was awful and not hot. Please do not go to this Sonic. You will regret it. I placed a mobile order and proceeded to stall 13 I check in and I also press the buzzer waited 43 minutes before anyone came on to let us know that it's drive thru only. Proceed to get to drive through and at minute 53 I receive my order and it is nasty soggy melted and disgusting!! They take it back we have them remake it wait an additional 15 minutes and they give me another blast incorrectly made no cookie dough no whipped cream no carmel!! WTF are they doing in there? This is absolutely ridiculous! The last time I came they messed my order up so bad on Halloween I said I would never return. Well it's hot and I was craving ice cream and made the mistake of giving them another try but ended up disappointed AGAIN!! This restaurant needs to get closed. I go on maps to see what time sonic closes and it states 10pm. I arrive at the location at 8:30pm. I'm at the intercom saying hello for about 5-10 minutes. No one responds. I then pull up to the drive thru window. Both the employees stare at me and look the other way. Afterwards I honk my horn and the employee states they are close due to a school night (but it's 8:40). I informed the employee that corporate will be called because it's absurd that they are close at 8:30pm but there is staff in there and stealing company time to get paid "but they ate close". Slow is an understatement. I got here at 9:15 am with one car in front of me. I pulled up to take my order at 9:40, no one took my order until 9:48. Let me back up... I also went to a stall to order because I sat in the drive thru for 10 minutes and sat there for 5 minutes and no one came on to take my order. Stopped by this location at 7pm on a Sunday night recently. Only one vehicle in front of us at drive through. While trying to place order. The attendant asked us to wait and apologized 3 times and then nothing. The vehicle in front of us received Thur order and left. We waited several more minutes and decided to go up to the window. We looked inside and could see 3 employees. One was sitting down looking at his phone and the other 2 (one with headphones). After realizing they didn't know we were there. We blowed the horn to get their attention. We asked why we couldn't make our order and both said "we didn't know you were here" (even the young man with headphones). We asked if we could get one the new Mocha Blast. Their answer was "we don't have ice cream"So we spent more than 15 minutes to find out they couldn't fill our order. Realizing that the Pandemic has put a lot of pressure on all businesses. This level of service has become the norm and quiet frankly the public is really growing weary of this becoming an excuse rather than seeing improving services. read more

Without a doubt the worst Sonic I have ever been to. I came here for the past few years and usually just ordered drinks, but starting. 7-8 months ago, there was always an issue with even just a drink order. The people that work here are extremely rude. When we pressed the "RED" Button we were asked to please wait, after a 10 minute wait we were late by 5 minutes for the 1/2 price "happy hour" deal. When I brought it up I was told that she checked and we, " weren't here in time and I could either order or leave and have a nice day!" I ordered due to hungry kids, the girl that delivered our food was Natalie and she was the one that took our order too. Awful service!! Happy hour is from 2-4. Not 2-3:55. I asked to speak to the manager. She came out with an attitude from the very beginngin. Definitely is not in the business of serving customers and making sure they are happy. Even when they have a legitimate complaint. Tried to order at 3:55 half priced slushes for my kids. They refused and said that their system automatically switches over. Funny that I've never had that issue at any other Sonic. Girl that was taking my order was very rude and snappy. From the previous reviews of this location I would say they need to revamp and brush up on their customer service skills. BECAUSE the customers are what keep them in business!! Worst service ever!!! Do not go there if you're wanting a quick bite...nothing fast about this fast food chain!!!!! Ok, so I tried this place out for a second time and now I am extremely pissed off. My husband and I took the kids for some "Sonic Blast" last night and Why??? were there "2 hairs" embedded in my own Oreo Butterfinger Sonic Blast when I got home to take the top off of the cup to put my spoon into my ice cream. Smdh!!! I mean really, come on!!! I doesn't take a scientist to make a cup of ice cream without someone's nasty freaking hair in it. Just Disgusting....Yuck!! I called up to the store to speak with a manager to tell them about my Sonic Blast having hair in it and a gentleman answered the phone advising that he was the manager and after I told him about my Sonic Blast he apologized along with offering to replace my Sonic Blast. Quite annoyed with this location, approximately 1/3 of the stations are non-functional, making it completely luck of the draw as to whether service actually happens. Service can be erratic even when it happens, and their equipment is frequently temperamental. A funny way to run a railroad, for sure. read more

if i could do 0 stars i most definitely would. this is probably the worse sonic you can go to. sometimes they have all the stalls roped off, sometimes they don't-- but either way you're not able to use them or they'll just tell you "drive-thru only" & not let you get 1 word out. it probably wouldn't even be so bad if they had signs around saying drive-thru only, like anybody else, to let you know before hand. The line is always wrapped around the building and it moves SO slow.. don't try to go on your lunch break or you'll take the whole time just waiting. Probably better off going to a sit down restaurant than this sonic. I can see why they don't have any workers, who wants to work for this location. It's literally always something. They randomly were closed one day, then open the next. No signs, no reasons why. definitely need to close down & stop wasting people's time until they can get their stuff together, train their employees better, whatever needs to happen. would NOT recommend read more

I gave them 1 star because I had to! This is the 4th time I've come here and my sons burger was wrong! This is the only place he will eat a burger from so it's the only reason why I come back! Today they had to fix his burger twice. The manager Miranda is rude and there was only one girl working outside while it was busy! Poor girl was running around like a chicken with her head cut off. I don't know why I keep giving this place a chance. We ordered at 4:15 and didn't leave with our food until 5:00. Why? Because we ordered three burgers, two of which were made wrong AND sloppily, and our tater tots were falling apart and cold. I had to go knock on the door to get it all fixed. The manager was nice and apologized and then made our order himself, but there was nothing complicated about our order in the first place.
