i had a cherry limeade slush and small popcorn chicken for 1:99 on the app. i ordered ahead online and was greeted by a nice lady. she had asked if id like any bbq sauce to which i said yes. i was then greeted by an incredible employee named julian. now i found out it was his first day and he did an absolute great job delivering me my sauce then following it by wishing me a great rest of my day. this guy is the future of this store and is a really nice and helpful employee. low prices but good food and service. don't get no better than that. read more

If you value your health, don't eat here. The server was walking around without a mask on and a herd of kids on bicycles were spread out across the stalls, taking up an entire side of the restaurant parking. Of course, the kids were with a grown woman and nobody was wearing a mask. It would be nice of the owner or manager were considerate enough to train their employees what "asymptomatic" means and how not to be a vector for a deadly virus during a world pandemic. Takes forever to get your food. Horrible service. My experience with sonic has been bad across the board. I once waited twenty minutes for a grilled cheese. Also, a worker once attempted to steal from me by giving me the wrong change (he gave me a $1 bill instead of a $5 and then somehow knew what was wrong when we had waited for him to correct the mistake). One time we showed up past closing and they said "Welcome to Sonic, we are now closed". Needless to say that is now an inside joke between me and my friends. However, I do enjoy the food. Slooooooooow drive through. Only go here if you have time to kill, and you don't mind killing the environment with an idling car while you wait. I go here for convenience really...but how long I've had to wait in the drive through usually makes me pause and think about if I want to stop. Usually I keep driving. Several times, fried foods that I've ordered (generally tots) has the terrible aftertaste of old oil-another turn-off. On the plus side, accuracy (so far) at this location seems better than most--so maybe the extra time taken is to make sure a customer's order is right. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. We sat waiting in line for fifteen minutes while there were cars in front of us just to be told they were closed. It was 10:45, they close at 11. The woman who told us they were closed was very rude and when we tried to ask what time they did close, we were completely ignored. Horrible service every time we go. I work in customer service and it sucks when customers come in right before closing, but almost twenty minutes before closing is not reason to ignore a customer and give the excuse that they are closed, when there were cars in front of us. Sonic has some of the most delicious and creamy treats that a fast food restaurant can offer, however below average to average food and very poor service gives it a 1 star ratting. I love sonic creamy treats espically the milkshakes. The 1/2 price milkshakes makes it hard to resist. I have had some poor experiences before , but today was the worst. I was able to forgive the lack luster food, the long wait times, poor service, and even the occasional forgotten item, but there is no excuse to have me wait a hour in the hot sun only to come out and tell me that you have forgotten my order is inexcusable. This afternoon I was craving a nice milkshake on a very hot day so I went to sonic. There were not too many cars and it didn't look to busy either so I expected a quick in and out. Since it was hot I planned to enjoy my treat at home. When I went to order I do not know if there was an issue with the machine or what, but the could not understand me. I ordered a Hot Fudge Milkshake and after repeating my order a few times and after they said a few rude comments to me, like " What's wrong with you" or " Why can't you speak clear?"they have finally got my order right. I know that my speech is not perfect but it is very much understandable. So I found these comments to be rude. I had overlooked that because I was just relieve that my milkshake was finally be made. (So I thought) About 45 minutes to an hour had past and still no milkshake until someone came out and said "we have forgotten your order do you still want it?" It was not busy so it shouldn't of took this long for a single milkshake. I said no and left hot, sweating , and very disappointed. Went through the drive through this Monday, had Haley as our Drive Thru worker, she was extremely friendly and nice! I ordered a cheeseburger combo with fries and a shake. I was pleasantly surprised to find the food hot and the shake was well mixed. I'm only giving the review 4 stars because the food came out a long time after the shake. It looked like it was only her on shift! Couldn't find any other employees the entire time the window was open. I also watched her go back to make the shake herself, she still managed to get it out to me in about 5 minutes! I used to come in the morning a lot but I got terrible service often that way. I asked the girl for condiments and she said ok, so when I realized the order was short I waited for her to return, but she didn't. I was ordering a lot of sonic at first, my 26 year olds love the drinks and the food. I was being sent promotion on the app for deals on all kinds of things which I love taking advantage of. But recently all the locations between my house and my job have stopped taking mobile orders. I live at area code 93726 and I drive past three sonics on the way to work which is at 93730 in Clovis and Fresno. They all still have posters on the window that say order online or a head of time but none of them are taking the mobile orders so I press the red button to speak to a manager and I was told they will not give me any offers that come across my phone ordering at the store, it just feels like it's not fair to me when they send me offers from sonic but I can't use them. I'm about to uninstall the app and just not bother going there anymore. The only reason I go to sonic is to pick up those special offers. Never came to this location and got the food I ordered. Always something missed or mixed. Except tonight...I got a crispy chicken sandwich. Only thing wrong this time is the fact that I got a flat fried piece of chicken skin. Noticed after the first disgusting crunchy bite. Odd experience. Ordered at the drive thru. The girl who took the order was rude and seemed rushed yet no one was in front of behind my car. I didn't say anything or change tone, just finished the order and pulled up to the window. I ordered 4 meals. She managed to put all the food in one bag which was splitting as she handed it to me. She was laughing the whole time and just didn't seem to care. When I got home, I opened the food to find meat missing on two of the burgers. Buns were stale on what did have meat and hair in the tater tots. Just a bad experience overall. I would avoid the Willow location. read more

Well, this was the 3rd time that I ate at Sonic on Willow. And once again I was severely disappointed by the customer service of a manager named Ruben. In the past, Ruben and has been rude, obnoxious and callous. I have let it go the past 3 visits, but today's experience could no longer allow me to be silent. It appears Ruben has a propensity to be rude towards me. I have no idea if he's specifically that way with just me, people of African heritage, or just others in general. Today I ordered a chili dog combo and popcorn chicken combo. I asked for the signature sauce and ranch dressing. When Stefano brought our order, get accidentally forgot our sauces. So I rang the red button to request the sauces and Ruben answered and actually began arguing with me about only getting one sauce for the small popcorn chicken combo when the ranch dressing was for the fries and the tater tots! I couldn't believe how indignant he became. He was acting like some type of dipping sauce troll! Even after I asked Ruben if this sauce thing was worth giving us bad customer service or a negative Yelp review, he dug his heels in even more and started raising his voice with me over the parking stall intercom. Thankfully, Stefano grabbed the sauces and brought them to my wife and I. I have never been more disgusted at the customer service of a Sonic location or any restaurant than what I was today. Absolutely horrible customer service except for how wonderful Stefano was. At least he apologized about the mistake on the sauces and got it right even though his manager Ruben was acting like a stark raving maniac! When I looked at the kitchen I can see three heads looking through the glass laughing as I waited in the awkward sclilence to continue my order. The SLOWEST moving Sonic. Ever. I've have never been able to get my order in less than ten minutes, and that is fast. It more often closer to a 15 minute wait. Even if your the only car in the drive through!! Someone needs to tell these people to move a little faster. My limeade and tots should not have taken them 12 minutes. Also, don't even bother with condiments at this location. They shut the window before they ask or you have ANY time to ask. And then the get rude when you try to get their attention again. One of them forgot to give me my card back the other night and when I went to knock on the window, he totally ignored me. So I called and called and they don't answer their phone, AT ALL. But, my food was a disaster... tasted good, but I felt like the two hotdogs were from a crazy messy hamburger commercial from Carl's Junior. Everything was stacked on top of each other, the tomatoes were t even on the hotdog. My second one you could see the crazy squiggle lines of ketchup and mustard that extended beyond the dog onto the little cardboard box they provide.
