1/5 Stars - Terrible customer service Honestly, don't bother with this location. We first tried ordering from a stall, but nobody ever answered, so we figured the system was broken and moved to the drive-thru. The woman taking our order on the speaker was rude from the very start. When we got to the window, she handed me our drinks, so I turned to carefully set them down so they wouldn't spill. I didn't realize she was trying to hand me a sauce right then, and she started yelling "Sir, sir, sir!" at me. When I told her I was just putting the drinks down, she snapped "I don't have a minute!" and slammed the window in my face. When she brought out the burger, she said "Have a nice day," but after how she just treated me, I didn't say anything back. She then raised her voice, called me rude, and slammed the window shut again. I looked at other reviews for this store afterward, and sure enough, plenty of other people are talking about the exact same rude employee at the window. Management clearly doesn't care. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. I won't be coming back. read more

I've only had Sonic twice before and saw a video of a pickle lemonade that I wanted to try . I know sounds gross but I love pickles. When I got there the girl that took our order thought it was crazy I wanted pickles in my lemonade although it's on the online menu. Anyway they ended up just giving me a lemonade slushee with pickles on the side. No big deal. I also got a chilli cheese dog with tots- everything was cold. I reheated the hot dog when I got home and it was still not edible. I'm not sure what kind of hot dogs they have but gross. My other half and son both got burgers/ my son didn't eat his burger he said it was rubbery and gives it two thumbs down. We will only go back to try the infinite amount of other drinks you can make but will stay away from the food. read more

I have been waiting 40 minutes with no food. The woman gave my daughter attitude and is talking about her, loudly. The entire experience was beyond upsetting. My daughter should never be talked about in any way let alone by an employee when she is trying to figure out how much longer the food is going to be. I am extremely upset, disappointed and will never be back again. How can an employee ever feel it is ok to bring a child to tears when she was inquiring about if coming inside would be easier or if we should remain in the car. Never once have I ever been able to go to this sonic and get my whole order without something being needed to be reported missing in the app whether it be a slushy machine being broken or just forgetting to put something into the order Every single time I've ever needed to be at this sonic I've had to call customer service to get a refund and the order was incomplete. Also, customer service is terrible at this location. Cannot wait for it to close so we can get something decent in that location. Edit just finished with customer service. If I could give a negative review I would. I could not believe the service my daughter and I received at this location yesterday at 5:23 P.M. We pulled up and was told at full volume, to "Hold on!" by the server at the drive through. We waited a while, it felt like 10 minutes, but we were fine and in no rush. NO one was behind us. Eventually, she came back on, I told her I had 2 separate orders and she made a huffing sound, clearly upset, and said " Your order." I told her my first order which was just a regular meal, the whole time she was very short, wouldn't let me finish what I was saying and was very clearly upset for some reason. The second order was the same as the first but with water as the drink. This was 2 orders but very simple orders. Nothing fancy or extra. She asked us again did we want water with the second order, and I restated," Yes, in a cup please because she wants the ice." She yelled, " I KNOW!" super loud over the speaker. I asked her why was she so upset and, again, she yelled, " You said it like 14 times!" I told her we did not, and she said,"YOUR DONE!" good bye. She refused to take our order and I could see her walk away from the window. We did nothing to provoke her to this level of rudeness. It was a heavy set, white lady taking the orders and I'm not sure if she was having a bad day but I can honestly say I have never been treated like this at a fast food restaurant. I called and talked to a manager later and she was very apologetic and stated that she would receive a write up but clearly she should not be working with the public because she does not have the patience for it. This is coming from a teacher of 25 years and a former customer service representatives. I know the level of patience it requires to deal with customers and this lady does not have it. This location is the Pitts don't eat here at all... the one in hainesport is A -1...I seen cross contamination as they pre cook burgers then put them a black oily container to put them on the grill as needed I questioned the Mgr as she said nothing at the door as youwalk in. I've complained to the owner as well about this procedure with no work a recorded email about looking into the matter as they put this off now for over a month. this franchise has been bought 3 times and i still.no consistency in food preparation which is not kept up. Okay now I understand why the restaurant only has 2 stars. The staff was very nice to me and the prices are affordable, I figured why not give it a try. The flavor of the onion rings & my chicken sandwich literally just tastes like the gross oil it was fried in, no salty or seasoning taste (for example, like Wendy's Chicken Nuggets which are incredible by themselves). I'd rather go to Wendy's for their chicken. And if you want real onion rings you gotta go to Smash Burger and get their haystack onions (omg incredible flavor and taste and they are fried in beef tallow instead of yucky seed oil's). It was an hot Saturday afternoon. I took my family out to go get a Sonic Milkshake. My Mom pulled up a email from Sonic on her phone. Stated if she would like half drink she would have to download the app. So she was telling me that and didn't know how to do it on her phone. Mind you that I was driving and my sister was in the back and she was trying to download the app. So when we pulled up to Sonic I drove into the slots. I proceeded to push the button and someone ensoniq said they was running behind and can we pull up to the drive-thru. Then was fine but when my sister realize that you had that had the app to get the half price drinks I pulled out of line then I downloaded the app and try to order us half-price drinks. But if you have red at the top of the story I said we wanted milkshakes but unfortunately the half price drinks was for slushies. I still downloaded the app and just order strawberry milkshakes for everyone with banana and and top it off with a cherry hold the whip cream. And also for signing up I received chicken nuggets for $0.99. The Nuggets was horrible today was hard like they was already cooked and placed on the side it was too late to send them back because we had already drove away. The milkshakes was delicious and thick like I like them. Only downfall was if you look at the pictures they chopped off a half a banana or quarter banana and just put it at the bottom of the cup it was not Blended up and it was hard to sip because of the banana. It grossed me out so I didn't eat mine. Oh and it was hard to find strawberry banana milkshake I did it twice to find it so if you ever want a strawberry milkshake or banana banana milkshake you had to scroll at the bottom of the item that you're picking and you'll see add-ons. Oh and I also forgot I got back in line because after I place my order I didn't know where to go since the drive up was close but thank God it was a manager some young guy outside directing people where to go when you call for your pickup. I absolutely love Sonic milkshakes and slushy I used to eat the hot dogs but I don't eat beef no more so I had to leave them alone. I live in Philly and working in Jersey. So when I get off of work at night I do a drive-by to get me a small or medium strawberry banana milkshake. And I always have to get the tater tots what a great combination. I'm so sick of watching Sonic commercials In Hawaii and not being able to try their food, so when I visited my uncle in Delanco I definitely wanted to stop by. It was snowy and icy outside so it was nice that we didn't have to get out of the car. I ordered a Chicago dog meal with tots and a cherry vanilla coke. The dog was pretty good, perfect amount of condiments and I enjoyed the coke...subtle hints of flavors. The tots were too salty and I passed them to my hubby. Took a bite of his burger and it was pretty standard...not mind blowing or anything. I also got a butterfinger chocolate freeze (milkshake like thing) it was yummy but it seemed like they skimped on the butterfinger mix in. I love eating at Sonic. The food is typical, but the little kid in me think it's so cool to order food from your car and have it brought out to you. The funny thing about it is, their food really isn't all that good! I usually stick to a New York hotdog or a Philly cheesesteak when I eat here. I've had also had hamburgers and grilled chicken here. I had a hotdog yesterday. Their drinks are terrible. They offer a cajillion different kinds of metallic-tasting flavors you can add to your sodas, slushes and teas, but they all have a bad aftertaste to me. So... why do I come here? it's fun to eat here. Since I don't live close to a Sonic, it hasn't gotten old to me yet. I like Sonic. I wish they would put a menu on the passenger side, though, because only the driver can read the menu! I had to have the menu read to me by my fiance', which was kind of annoying. read more

Being originally from the south, Sonic is (and always has been) my favorite Fast Food. I've lived on the east coast long enough to remember when we had Sonic commercials but NO Sonics. It was pure torture. Luckily, the closest Sonic was in Virginia Beach when I lived in DC, and I had a girlfriend that lived there.... So I would make weekend treks to VA beach to visit my friend AND get Sonic. lol So naturally, I've eaten a LOT of Sonic in my life. This is the 2nd best Sonic I have ever eaten at. (First place goes to Old Cantrell Rd in Little Rock. lol) Not sure why people are complaining about waiting for their food. Sonic is made to order, so obviously its going to take longer than McDonalds that has been sitting under heat lamps for the past 12 hours. I would rather wait for a freshly made REAL hamburger with super crispy and salty tots personally. Even if there is a wait at the drive-thru, they will send out people to take your money and bring you your drinks while they wait for fries/tots to cook or whatever. Now that's service in my opinion! What other fast-food chain is going to go that extra step?? Obviously a Sonic burger is no Bobby Flay's... but its definitely a few steps above any other fast-food and even better than most diners in the area. The tots are always SUPER crispy and piping hot, never soggy. And yeah, they are really salty, but that is what makes them SO GOOD. If you have a problem with sodium you can ask for no salt and they will make them special for you. But don't expect them to be good that way.... lol the brown bag special is our go-to. for 8 bucks you get 2 burgers, 2 tots, and 2 medium drinks. you can't beat that with a stick! lol (i just sounded really southern....) I order the chili-cheese coney all the time. It's really good. However, in the south they have, and will put cole-slaw on it for you, which is awesome if you've never had it that way. It's not even an option on the menu up here. The flavored soda's (vanilla coke is my favorite) are great and not overly sweet. The mango iced-tea is my favorite, and is best at this location. (The one on Street Rd. is AWFUL. how do you mess up iced-tea? lol) And we almost always get a Slush to go. Ocean Water is my favorite and they always make it right at this location (again the one on street rd... you never know what they are going to give you. could be blue-powerade, could be blue coconut. apparently they don't care as long as it some-what resembles what you ordered. lol) but this location even asks to make sure they are getting it right. which is nice. When it comes to the Slushes though, I feel like I should mention.... they are PERFECT for making your own daiquiris when you get home. Just add a little rum, or the cherry lime-ades make pretty amazing margaritas with tequila. lol just wait til you get home to add the booze. no drinking and driving! and the shakes and ice-cream treats are always really good. my mom has always been a big fan of their banana split. they have a seasonal apple-pie shake around the holidays which is incredible. it has actual bits of apple pie in it, lol so i docked a half-star each because they don't have cole-slaw, which isn't even their fault lol, and a half-star because the car-hops usually forget ketchup. no big deal, we usually go through the drive-thru anyhow and then park to eat. love this Sonic in particular though. I called the Sonic customer service number and a lady kept telling me to logout of the app and back in and to delete the app and redownload it.
