I came here because multiple friends swore I'd see chickens running around the property. I did not…read moresee a single chicken. At this point I'm starting to wonder if the chickens are real or if I've been the victim of an elaborate prank. Fortunately, the food more than made up for my poultry disappointment. We ordered a couple different wing flavors, including the Honey Mustard and a blueberry-based sauce, and both were excellent. The wings themselves were massive, meaty, and cooked really well. The Honey Mustard had a nice balance of sweetness and tanginess with just enough mustard bite to keep it from feeling overly sweet. The blueberry flavor was surprisingly good too. It had a sweet-tart fruitiness that sounds unusual on paper but worked really well with the smoky, savory wings. Both sauces had plenty of flavor without completely overpowering the chicken. The atmosphere is classic neighborhood pub. Cozy, casual, and the kind of place where people seem comfortable settling in for the whole evening. Downstairs there's a bar and shuffleboard area that definitely attracts a younger crowd. It gets pretty lively and noisy, which adds to the fun if you're there with friends. My only real complaint is that parts of the place felt a little messy. The stairs leading downstairs were sticky, and parts of the basement floor were too. Nothing that ruined the experience, but it was noticeable. The staff, however, were fantastic. Fast, friendly, and personable. Even when things were busy, they kept everything moving and made us feel welcome. Overall, it's a fun spot with great wings, good energy, and a laid-back crowd. Still giving it four stars because I left without seeing a single chicken, and I feel mildly betrayed. But if you're looking for a place to hang out with friends and eat some seriously good wings, it's definitely worth the visit.

We ordered our wings with the sauce on the side. I think that's the way to go so the wings stay crispy. They have a lot of wing sauce options. We also ordered the Cheese Steak Egg Rolls and Cheese Balls as appetizers. Both were pretty good. There is a large parking lot and we even saw some chickens roaming around. The space is a good size with a large bar in the middle. Service was good. Probably wouldn't go out of our way to come back but if we were ever back in the area we would stop by.

I am guessing that the rent on Main Street is killing them. Lillos has a $20 cheesesteak but it is twice the girth and much better than this one. Also, the store does not have a menu available so you have to watch a rotating screen which scrolls through the items too fast, and I felt pressured to tell the cashier what I wanted to order. It is mostly a takeout place, but their online menu was not working on my phone. Unfortunately, my search for a premium sandwich in Moorestown continues.

I watched several people pick up orders while I was there, but nobody else ate in-house. It was fairly busy, so it took 20 min for my order of the Batman & Robin and Cooper Sharp cheese fries to be ready. That plus a bottle of water totaled $30. And I paid cash, which saves you 4%. The Batman & Robin was good and unique, but was it in my top 10 cheesesteaks? No. The fries were overly salted in some areas and had no salt in others. They did not skimp on the cheese. My honest opinion? If I'm going to spend that much on a cheesesteak, I'll go to Lillo's, which is better in quality, quantity and ratio of meat/cheese, and taste. (Unfortunately, Lillo's has limited hours.) This place is most popular/famous for its wings, though. I would give them another try with an order of wings. Tip: Paying cash saves you 4%.

So. We received a door hanger menu for George's Wings on Morrell Ave.. After reviewing the menu,…read morethey seemed like they had a lot of solid choices for food. We made an order for delivery, ordering the following: 2 orders of potato wedges, 15 medium wings, "chicken pickle Jawn" sandwich, a chicken sandwich with bbq sauce, a plain burger, mashed potatoes and gravy fries. We ollnly received one order of the wedges, no biggie. The wedges were bland, with zero flavor. The burger was just okay. The chicken sandwich was made up of three small pieces, but was overcooked, dry. The mashed potatoes were good and the gravy fries were okay. The bride said the pickle jawn sandwich decent. The wings were average. All in all, if you're looking for a quick bite, this place may be okay, but if you want a good bite, I'd suggest going elsewhere.

George's has some of the best fresh tenders I've ever had. Their tenders are huge, freshly made and full of flavor. The fries are crispy (even when delivered!) and their dinner plate platters are delicious! The people over there are so nice and friendly whether you order for pickup or delivery and they've always been top notch If they've ever messed up an order. When you walk into George's, the ambiance is that of a cozy small business, signs on the wall, historic pics of Philadelphia, news articles (yknow they're good when the papers rave about them) and sit in booths for you to eat in if you so choose. Overall, 5 stars for George's and I will be spending plenty of takeout money here. I'm excited to try the whole menu!
