I received the George's Wings menu from my complex as part of a welcome package. when I first saw it, I thought it was just another run of the mill chicken joint. I was WRONG! George's has some of the best fresh tenders I've ever had. Their tenders are huge, freshly made and full of flavor. The fries are crispy (even when delivered!) and their dinner plate platters are delicious! The people over there are so nice and friendly whether you order for pickup or delivery and they've always been top notch If they've ever messed up an order. When you walk into George's, the ambiance is that of a cozy small business, signs on the wall, historic pics of Philadelphia, news articles (yknow they're good when the papers rave about them) and sit in booths for you to eat in if you so choose. Overall, 5 stars for George's and I will be spending plenty of takeout money here. I'm excited to try the whole menu! read more

So. We received a door hanger menu for George's Wings on Morrell Ave.. After reviewing the menu, they seemed like they had a lot of solid choices for food. We made an order for delivery, ordering the following: 2 orders of potato wedges, 15 medium wings, "chicken pickle Jawn" sandwich, a chicken sandwich with bbq sauce, a plain burger, mashed potatoes and gravy fries. We ollnly received one order of the wedges, no biggie. The wedges were bland, with zero flavor. The burger was just okay. The chicken sandwich was made up of three small pieces, but was overcooked, dry. The mashed potatoes were good and the gravy fries were okay. The bride said the pickle jawn sandwich decent. The wings were average. All in all, if you're looking for a quick bite, this place may be okay, but if you want a good bite, I'd suggest going elsewhere. read more

I tried the burgers after walking in and seeing the cook freshly press the burgers and I was not disappointed at all!!! The flavor was amazing and it was cooked perfectly! My husband also tried the grilled chicken platter which was cooked beautifully! The owner came out and spoke to us. This little gem is own by such a sweet Greek couple! Theory were nothing short of hospitable! We will most definitely be back to try more off the menu!!!! read more

My co-worker recommended this restaurant for our Lunch break, so I decided to check it out and place an order. I love that you are able to place your order online, and can even track it to see when it will be ready for pickup. I ordered the chicken tenderloins which looked really delicious, and included barbecue sauce. The shopping center is a little small and not easy to navigate with traffic, but thankfully I was able to get in and out just fine. The employee at the counter was very friendly and even allowed me to add on a Snapple to the card I used on file. In terms of the food, they give a large portion and the chicken tenderloins were huge! I could only eat half of the chicken. I will say that the chicken smelled similar to my local Chinese restaurant (I'm thinking it might be the oil that is used to fry the chicken). The chicken was good, but not my absolute favorite. It still was pretty good! read more

Last time I will order from George's again!! Don't know what happened to this establishment but it went down hill. Chicken was so tough the last 3 times I Ordered it. My husband ordered fried chicken and you could taste that the oil was old and needed to be changed. read more

Family run business with signature wings, salads, fried chicken platters and sandwiches. There's a few seats inside, but it's mostly take out. Service was very good. Appears that George's has done a great job in establishing themselves in the area. The restaurant throughout is very clean and neat. Many orders were flowing through every minute while I waited about 10 minutes for my bbq honey glazed wings. They also have a very nice catering page on the menu, for your big events. My wings were good. Lots of sauce (more than I would desire). They were on the smaller side and cooked well. Not the best wings I've had, but good enough to try another flavor or other items on the menu. I also ordered the Cajun French fries on the side. They were very hot and crispy, just how I like them. I would've liked more Cajun seasoning on mine. Give them a call for pick, or simply stop in to eat. I think you'll like this place. They're not fancy, they just make good food very well. read more

the fresh tender loins are the best thing I've had in the area I would recommend everyone to stop by George's and try it and that's not the only thing good they also have amazing grilled chicken, cheesteaks, EVERYTHING. check it out read more

The food was not very good. I asked for mayo on my cheesesteak, but received ketchup. Also the cheesesteak was so soggy I could not lift it up without the bottom giving out. We also got fried chicken which was good, and the only reason this is not a one star review. The mac & cheese was clearly not homemade, and looked literally like a neon orange brick when I got it back to my home. The Fried shrimp was ok with the spicy sauce but the oil on it felt like it sat in my stomach for hours. I asked for the side salad with the shrimp meal and just did not receive it. We got the slaw too which was not very good and was given to us at room temp which I have never experienced before. Lastly the cornbread is VERY dry. I am very familiar that cornbread is dry, but this was like sand in my hands. I did not reach out the the business nor should you have too about these kind of issues. They seem to like to point people not reaching out to them on reviews on google. It is not the customers responsibility to double check their work. They should be making sure what they send out is accurate to what the customer orders, and reflects what they want their business to look like to consumers. The ambiance is ok, but not targeted for dine in experiences. read more

Kids in there working messing up orders. They didn't fix the issue they told me they will bring the sauce out to me and never did!

The charbroiled chicken is and will always be my favorite. If you're trying to be healthy, but still want to eat out with the family, this place is for everyone. I always get the char chicken with a side of the chicken and vegetable rice, which is flavorful and different from any other side dish for a platter at any take out restaurant I've been too. The quality of the food at George's blows every other restaurant in the neighborhood out of the water. They're also on grubhub now and have their own website, for those of us who want to order from the convenience of your computer/phone read more

Nothing special really. This place is around the corner from my apartment and I've wanted to try it for a while. I ordered 10 MEDIUM wings. I chose to pickup, so I sat inside and waited. It was a reasonable wait. About 10 minutes go by and they announce that 10 MILD wings are ready. I continue to wait. They give the order to another customer and then she turns to me and says I think this is your order because I should have more wings than this. She returns the wings to them. There was then some bickering behind the counter and then someone turns to me and says this IS your order. I stated 10 MEDIUM wings and they assured me oooo yes 10 MEDIUM wings. They were no where near MEDIUM. There was barely any sauce on them at all, it was all in the bottom of the container. I doubt I'll go back read more

Was told by someone to try hear, and glad I did. Really good food. They pile the meat on the cheese steak and not at all greasy. The wings are so crispy and good. Definitely worth the money and reasonable to. read more

Wings are decent and price is pretty good. I ended up getting hot wings with blue cheese and it definitely was satisfying. They said the hot option which is second hottest but it was milder than Crystal or sriracha sauce. I may have to try nuclear option next. read more

Last 6 orders placed here have been wrong. Either it is missing an item or prepared wrong or both. The food is just not good anymore. Not worth dealing with the frustration of having something prepared wrong, and also just poor quality at same time. Chicken is DRY. Cheesesteak meat is chewy and full of fat pieces. read more

The owner of this business would rather scream and yell at you when you inform them that you received the wrong order... He's a real piece of s$@t and the quality of the food has dropped off tremendously. Will never get my business back you scumbag. read more

George's Wings is decent. Food's mostly good and their fries are my favorite. I could get like 5-8 servings of their fries and be fine with that. My only gripe is the wing sauce (buffalo, not bbq or whichever) is a little too watery or something and drips off and pools at the bottom of the container. Other than that the wings are pretty great. As far as the staff goes they're always great and friendly and delivery is always not only fast but faster than most places so the food's hot. read more

I have been going there for quite some time. Over the years spending a decent amount of money. Ordering is difficult because the person taking the order seems to be very unsure of herself and you have to constantly repeat yourself. I have always been patient with this, but today my order was completely wrong. I called and She did not even want to give me the time of day. Needless to say I will not be patronizing that business any longer. read more

George's is amazing! Customer service is top notch too! Doordash forgot out food and mu picky daughter didn't like sauce on her sandwich. Not only did they make me a new sandwich at no cost to me, they delivered everything including what Doordash forgot. Piping hot! FRIES are amazing. Crispy outside, soft inside, juicy chicken sandwiches and burgers! You will LOVE everything! Please support this amazing business read more

This place used to be good back when it was called Mr. Wings. Wings were soggy and slimy. Too much sauce. It's a shame the wings are good sized. Corn on the cob was overcooked in a styrofoam container half full of butter water that spilled all over in bag. Garden salad was ok as well as fries. No celery with wings. For a place that uses Wings in the name of their business the wings are pretty disappointing. This is the second time I was really disappointed in the wings. I decided to give them another try. You are better off with Wingstop across the street. I won't be back. read more

I am so so so disappointed in our wings tonight. We used to order from here ALOT so we figured lets give them a call for some wings! I have had a long day at this point and starving so I would eat anything at this point, however our WINGS were literally UN edible! I work at a place that sells wings so i know a bad wing. My wings were clearly pre cooked then when ordered cooked again and fried hard. Literally the meat was barely left on them and the skin was so crunchy and hard I legit couldn't chew it. I felt like bringing them right back after they were delivered. I hate to write this review but I just don't want anyone else left without a meal because your wings were not edible. read more

Placed a order today at 8:38pm on their website, for a simple order of 15 wings. Said it would take about an hour. Around 9:52pm we realize we made the order so we check the site. It says DELIVERED! but yet NO WINGS are in my hands. So I run down stairs to the front door, and after waiting for 5 min, I go back upstairs. Only for my girlfriend to tell me they now canceled the delivery! Now we've waited an hour, no food, and now everything in the area is closed because it's past 10pm.. But wait! There's more! NOT ONLY DID WE NOT GET OUR FOOD BUT THEY KEPT THE PAYMENT TOO! and they would not answer the phone the 30+ times we called. Loved their wings, BUT I WILL NEVER GIVE THEM A CENT OF MY MONEY AGAIN! read more

Im totally disgusted and never ordering from here again. They are not only overpriced but they are filthy! I found an eyelash last time I ordered from work. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but after finding a long black hair on my wrap I'm done with them and so are my coworkers. Tell your staff to wear hairnets!!!! read more

As of this posting I've ordered from here twice. Can't complain about my order. I get the boneless wings and I get them hot and boy are they actually hot. We've always loved the food, so much so they were 1 of 2 take out spots we'd physically call because we're diehard Grubhub users. George's just got onto GH & we were SO excited. It seems GH didn't quite get their menu right so our order wasn't perfect, but George's was SO nice and accommodating when I called. Not only did they promptly being the correct order, but they gave us some extras, a coupon and this adorable note! You now have solid in-love forever customers, George's Wings!!! Well done read more

I ordered a cheesesteak tray for a bachelor party in the Poconos and the guys loved it. They were able to package it up to be eaten later that night. Mr. Wings is this dinky little take-out/delivery place in Morrell Park Center, just off of Frankford Ave., and I just love it. They've got really great chicken everything - wings, cheese steaks, fried, you name it. They've also got other sandwiches, burgers, spare ribs, seafood platters, etc. Whenever I want to get a big order of wings to take with me to a friend's house to watch football, boxing, or some other sporting event, I always order from Mr. Wings. Their buffalo wings are superb - crispy, tangy, meaty, and ready in a jiffy. The staff is also really nice. If you are getting wings for the Super Bowl, I suggest calling the night before or early that morning to place your order. That's what I did, and my wings were ready at the time I said that I needed them. This place is great. read more

Meh, I ordered tonight and it was okay. I ordered the Georges burger and the honey bbq wings. The burger was just okay, it was over cooked and so were the fried onions. They were so hard I had to take them off he burger. As for the wings, they were very good. I ordered them well done because I like them crispy. They were cooked perfect, but the sauce! They were a little heavy on the sauce, which then made some of them soggy. I still think Pats pizza still has the best wings around. Delivery was fast, which is always a good thing. Overall I will give them 3 stars, I may or may not order from the again. read more

Used to be my favorite, now they are overpriced tiny wings. As my man Trump would say ..... SAD!

Wings are second best in area. Grilled chicken platter is best value. Get the hot sauce mixed with honey barbecue. Only complaint about wings is that they tend to be on the small side. Definitely not pudgy wings. Go boneless instead of bone in. Place never disappoints. read more

Fantastic pressure cooked fried chicken. Always liked that it was made as I ordered instead of laying around. I've made some very large orders for parties through here. The staff were always extremely grateful, even throwing in some extra chicken, sodas and such. On the, very small, down side, some of the other items I've had here aren't quite as memorable. Nothing in any way bad, but just not as good as the fried chicken. Though both the fries and onion rings are perfectly acceptable. The fried chicken is the real reason to go here. And when I order it, I'm never disappointed. read more

Best Wings in the neighborhood. Also there is an amazing lunch special. I have been going here since they were called Mr. Wings back in the day. The service is great and owner is really nice. I love to support local small business, especially in my neighborhood. The wings are great and 'hot' wings are the perfect spice and amazing taste. They are not overly hot and spicy like alot of places - so you can actually enjoy them. Im really not sure where else in the far northeast/Bensalem area you can get high quality chicken. (Steak and hoagie I guess is my 2nd won't place due to the cheaper prices (but quality as service is choose George's Wings in a heartbeat)! read more

I really enjoy these wings. If you're a fan of really big wings then you won't like these. I prefer smaller wings with good quality meat and that's exactly what these are. My go to place when I'm in the mood for wings. Chicken Cesar wrap is very good too! read more

Really disappointed in the boneless wings. Dropped $25 through grub hub for 15 wings and fries. Didn't realize I clicked boneless, but hey, all good. Sadly, the boneless wings tasted like frozen nuggets put through the microwave then drown in sweet baby rays bbq sauce. I'd like to give their regular wings a chance in the future but now, I advise against the boneless wings. read more
