    Indian style pizza
    Payal P.

This place is amazing. It was packed when we walked in. The tv was blaring CNN. I had a chicken cheesesteak and I really liked the spicy bite to the cheesesteak. The paneer pizza was delicious. I really liked the onions on the pizza as well as the paneer. I also appreciated how the pizza wasn't giving me heartburn since the tomato sauce wasn't as bitter as most pizza. I really loved my ride or die Indian Italian shop! I just wish their bathroom would have been cleaner. It was weird they only had a key to the girls restroom for both men and women to use.

Came here for a quick slice. I originally wanted to try the Indian style chicken pizza but apparently they dont offer that in slices (owners if reading please do!) So opted for the Indian style paneer pizza. Slice is fairly good portion. Although I'm not a huge fan of paneer, I thought it was very tasty. It comes with Indian spices, cilantro, jalapeño and onions. It all meshes pretty well and has a decent spice kick. Would definitely come back for a whole pie next time! They have room to sit. Pretty basic decor and setup inside.

Came here once with just one goal: try the Indian cheesesteak, and it did not disappoint. The exterior and interior look like a standard cheesesteak or pizza joint, but this place serves up an Indian cheesesteak (also available as chicken cheesesteak) loaded with Indian spices and seasoning that make it so flavorful, spicy, savory, that you'll be wondering why you haven't tried this flavor combination before. It's a no frills joint but with ample seating and space, most people we saw in line were getting some version of their Indian cheesesteak along with sides or other sandwiches. The masala fries are your basic thick cut fry with a nice sprinkling of theirmasala spices to give it a salty spicy kick - a bit heavy on the salt but still tasted very nice. Whether you live around or are just visiting, this place is definitely worth a visit!

Little Sicily 2 has one of the best cheesecakes in the cities and it deserves way more hype. It's a no frills, counter service restaurant located in a South Philly plaza next to WaWa. While it's busy, it's still clean and the service is always quick. Highly recommend the spicy beef cheesecake. It comes out piping hot, cheesy, and moist. The meat is well seasoned, perfectly spicy, and tender. It's served on an untoasted classic hoagie roll. I will say it doesn't come as stuffed as other restaurants like Angelo's. However, it is SO affordable and not overly indulgent. It's a great alternative to other iconic cheesesteak places. I personally would skip the masala fries as I don't love the thick cut. Lastly, the pizza is unique and worth a try but I also wouldn't get this when I come back.

This is a very interesting concept. A pizza place that is run by south asian folks. I have to say it looks busy every time we go. Pizza is insanely good. Cheesesteaks are a bit different than traditional ones, but are also very good. They have a spicy menu for those who love spicy food. I have to say that I am impressed.

I can't wait to sink my teeth into their amazing medium spice chicken cheesesteak! Whenever we call in for pick up, the service is lightning fast. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. I'm also super excited to explore their other menu options!

This was a good pizza experience in Philly. They have a vast menu with traditional pizza parlor items such as wings, sandwiches, fries, and to my surprise they offer diversity with other dishes like pasta, wraps, and gyros. It seems to be a good local eatery that is diverse enough in menu options that it draws a lot of local foot traffic. The customer service is good. I recommend ordering in advance because this place does draw a lot of foot traffic, extending wait times. The dining room resembles a typical, casual pizza parlor. Ordering is simple. There are ready-to-sell slices of pizza on display at the front counter as is customary with many pizza shops. The pizza quality is good and about what you'd expect from an inner city pizza shop; not artisan, not upscale, not chef-inspired, just good, fast pizza. Give them a try.

The best food ever in philly. It beats the regular classic cheesesteaks any day hands down be sure to get spicy chicken or spicy beef. it's perfect amount of spice and not too intense however it is full of flavor and absolutely delicious I don't recommend the masala fries it's that good i had better fries so i think it's best to skip the french fries and just get a bunch of chicken or beef cheesesteaks i ordered delivery instead of dining in so i don't know much about the ambiance or service 10/10 A++ delivery via grubhub

Oops, I was too hangry to have patience to take photos of the food! The spicy chicken cheese steak was delicious actually. Wish it were a little bigger, size-wise but there is this flavor that you can't deny. The consistency and ratio between meat, cheese and condiments are superb. Also got the cheese fries and it wasn't anything special at all. The batch we got was very crispy, in a good way. But there wasn't a lot of cheese and the amount of fries was sad, for the price. There is adequate seating inside and decent free parking lot (although a busy one).

Ambiance: (1/5) there was constant banging the entire 20 mins we were there. The place is very cluttered and not inviting. Price: (4/5) Prices are good but not sure if it is worth that price. Food: (2/5) The cheese pizza was overcooked and a bit stale. There was so much oil that I had to dab it off with a napkin. The pizza also had a slight garlic flavor which was a bit odd. The sauce was pretty sour as well. Service: (3/5) Food takes a while to come out so I would suggest ordering ahead.

Little Sicily 2. My friend told me about an Indian style cheesesteak here so you know I had to check it out. The place was similar to any pizza strip mall. I got the spicy cheesesteak and for $11 a reasonable priced cheesesteak. I would recommend it for the price

Got the paneer pizza which was delicious!!! I wish the sauce had more "tikka sauce" but I love how the paneer was cooked and how much spice the pizza had! We ordered online and it was quickly ready for pick up in the time they stated. Im excited to go back and try more!!

While I might choose another place for takeout, when the goal is a night of pizza, wine, great atmosphere, and authentic neighborhood vibes, this is usually where we end up. The space is bright, industrial, airy, and thoughtfully designed but unforced. White walls, warm wood, considered lighting, and a floor plan with real breathing room. The vibe recalls Bucktown, Wicker Park, Williamsburg, and Greenpoint: design-forward but genuinely local. There's a great bar, and booths near the kitchen with glass windows that let you watch the staff. Our three-year-old was mesmerized, and the staff was warm and playful, smiling and waving while they cooked. A small detail, but memorable. The crowd feels local. Good music, friendly people, hip but never pretentious. It's just a fun place to be with great service, too. The food is outstanding. We usually order the chicories caesar with grana padano and breadcrumbs, and the lettuce salad with shaved vegetables and creamy oregano dressing. For pizza, we love the arrabbiata (the Angry pie) and tomato pie with sausage and pickled chilies. My wife enjoys the ice cream. A note on bringing kids: I don't think this is a family restaurant, but if your kids are curious and well-behaved, it's absolutely worth bringing them earlier in the evening. We've gone around 4:30 or 5:00 on weekends and always felt comfortable. One time, our daughter had a full meltdown, and we were mortified, but the staff couldn't have been cooler. They packed everything to go, kindly and without any judgment. That kind of grace is hard to fake, and it genuinely stuck with us. Pricing is fair for the quality of the food and the experience. Places like this can seem overrated or overpriced, but this one doesn't. It offers real value for a memorable night out. The whole restaurant feels like a microcosm of Philadelphia's progressive, creative side. There's real ambition behind it, but it still feels human and grounded, nothing sterile, nothing corporate, nothing over-engineered. Just smart people building a cool neighborhood place that others actually want to spend time in. Oh, and make a reservation. Great spot, Joe. We'll be back soon. Thank you!

The hostess took our coats (a nice touch!) and then a rotation of two servers explained the specials and we ordered. I love that the menu is on the shorter side and they rotate the pizza offerings, so even if you're visiting on a regular basis, you'll always be able to try something new. Additionally, when a menu is only about 2 pages, you know everything on those two pages is top notch, as was the case at Pizzeria Beddia. This evening we got the meatballs (didn't take a photo, was too excited, but they were HUGE and excellent) and the beef, pork and veal balls with a rich red sauce was outstanding. Came in an order of 2 but one was plenty for each of us. The Pizza we got had potatoes on it, and we added sausage per the servers recommendation, and it was cooked perfectly and all of the flavors blended so well together. We are so lucky to have an amazing (and nationally recognized!) pizza spot in the neighborhood and it's always nice when you can walk in without a reservation from time to time.

We ordered two of the famous spicy caesar salads (must order!!), a ricotta toast, a White Claw pizza, and a finished off our meal sharing two chocolate budinos. The White Claw is a pretty classic white pizza, mozzarella and swirls of basil pesto; the crust is amazing! It pairs perfectly with the salad. The ricotta toast is decadent and addicting, but a little bit goes a long way. The chocolate budino was outstanding - sweet, with hints of espresso. We won't talk about how I ended up with some of it on my white turtleneck... Service was friendly and QUICK! We ordered, and I swear we had our first dishes in less than 10 minutes. Upside, is you're just a short walk from the 13th St. Septa Station, and you're literally equidistant from Broad and Market streets. Pro-tip: Killer happy hour specials, but only at the bar. The polite smile that says "it's fine" while the eyes say "it is absolutely not." Totally understandable. No one loves a near-close order. I even acknowledged it out loud--apologized, explained we weren't from the area, and that we were just trying to grab a quick bite because it was one of the few places still open. She said it was okay. Her face said otherwise. Fair enough. Here's where it turned around. The pizza came out hot, fresh, and legitimately impressive. Not "good for late night" good--just plain good. Every bite was fresh, the ingredients tasted clean, and the pizza clearly hadn't been rushed or phoned in despite the timing. Hunger probably helped, but even factoring that out, this was a standout. Honestly, I was kicking myself for not ordering an extra one to go before leaving the city. That's how good it was. We did try to get drinks, but were told the soda machine was down. The nozzles were off, so I'm guessing it was a cleaning/end-of-night thing. I won't ding them for it--though let's be real, tossing nozzles in sanitizer isn't exactly a marathon. Still, not a deal-breaker. Restaurant was clean, but of course, they were near closing. I tipped her a few bucks for staying late, and left genuinely satisfied.
