I had two great lunch experiences at Fink's. I found parking in the neighborhood and walked into a…read moresmall takeout area. There is a squad of people working in the back and the owner was up front taking orders and helping out with the kitchen staff too. I didn't catch his first name, but he was extremely nice and helpful with the menu. On Wednesdays they have a chicken cheesesteak special so I tried that. They use real chicken breast that's finely chopped and added a lot of cheese. I asked for hot peppers on it and they added long hots which gave it a nice kick. It was a large portion and tasty! On my second trip I had their Original Italian - a mouthwatering combination of coteghino, Genoa salami, ham capocollo, pepperoni and sharp provolone (chopped, not sliced), tenderly placed on a sesame-seed French loaf from the finest bakery in the Kingdom and lathered with Fink's secret olive spread. I added long hots, lettuce tomato and onion. I wish I would have went sans olive spread as it was just too overpowering. The bread was awesome and the combination of meats was solid. I would have liked a sharper provolone. It was a good Italian sub, but not top tier. They have around 8 or so gourmet hoagies with local neighborhood names (featured toppings include roast pork, turkey breast, turkey, buffalo chicken, tuna salad, prosciutto, ham and roast beef) that I would love to try out in future visits. Prices seemed fair at $7.41 for a small and $14.82 for a large. If I'm in the neighborhood I'd repeat. It's always great to support a veteran and a super nice guy to boot. The girl working up front was about as patient and friendly as you can get. The vibes were good here and I enjoyed reading the food articles and seeing Mr. Fink's display area of his personal military items. Thank you for your service and for the good grub!

Fink's - Italian with long hots - was a decent Italian hoagie. I wasn't a fan of their olive spread. Good bread and portion.

It's lovely Italian deli a block away from Rittenhouse square, where they have a wide assortment of fantastic sandwiches. I chose the Vesuvius today and what a treat it was. Bread is fresh, chicken cutlet crispy on the outside, and great veggies. I've had a few other sandwiches here and honestly, you can't go wrong. Highly reccomend the Soprano and Gabagool as well. All are big enough that I can eat half a sandwich for lunch and another for dinner. The people working there are also very nice and friendly. Sandwiches come with a free bag of chips and the staff often hand out some delicious bread pudding cups. Highly reccomend this place. Just wish the name was a tad more memorable as I can never remember it lol.

While trying to determine what I wanted to order for lunch last week, I took a look at the Yelp Page for Tortice's and saw some of the most mouth watering options ever. I could not decide between the Philly Special and the Rittenhouse. I went for the Philly Special because I was more in the mood for the sweet taste of a balsamic glaze and eggplant. I ordered my sandwich directly on the Yelp Page and it was ready when I got there to pick it up. The prices are super fair, I managed to get a drink and chips too for less than $25 for everything. The highlight of this sandwich was the chicken cutlet. I am PICKY when it comes to chicken cutlets. The seasoning here was absolute perfection. The portion was generous. I was full well past dinner time. The staff inside were very friendly and kind. I can't wait to return and try the Rittenhouse Sandwich next!

My wife and I have seen so many great reviews for Cafe Carmela and have been wanting to try it for…read morequite some time. The only problem is that it's not exactly convenient for us since we live in Jersey. Luckily for us, we wandered across the bridge and finally had the opportunity to give this place a try. We shared a cheesesteak with Cooper cheese and also ordered the Italiano chicken cutlet. Unfortunately, there was a little mix-up with our order, and instead of the chicken cutlet, we received the "Joey's Hot Honey." The cheesesteak was fantastic--packed with steak and cheese and served on a perfect seeded roll. And even though the Joey's Hot Honey wasn't what we ordered, it was absolutely delicious as well. We ended up taking it home with us, and after an hour-long drive, it was still delicious. We both agreed it probably would have been even better fresh off the grill. Mistakes happen, and honestly, I can't find it in my heart to give Cafe Carmela anything less than five stars. The food lived up to the hype, and we're glad we finally made the trip. Definitely worth the hype in my opinion. Five stars!

Its a good value, $16 for a heavy sandwich. 2 ppl or one obese person can be satisfied off it. Roll was decent but it got ruined from the large amount of seed oil they added into the cooking process. The roll actually split along the sides as i was eating it - violation. Grilled onions were under-cooked and way too many added. Customer service was good. Friendly ppl. Smells amazing in the restaurant. Provolone sharp is great. Much better option than cooper and its harder to find but Carmelas had it. Overall decent steak but it didnt meet expectations for me

After four previous visits, we decided to give La Nova one more try. When I picked up our…read morecheesesteaks this time, I was actually excited. They were heavy and finally generously filled with meat again. Unfortunately, once we bit into them, we were utterly disappointed. While the portion size had improved, the quality and texture of the meat had definitely changed. It honestly tasted like chopped-up ground beef rather than cheesesteak meat, and the meat was literally crumbling apart as we ate it. I've attached a photo because the difference was noticeable. We also added the sweet chili wings for the first time. I didn't open them until the following day, but several were dark/oil-burnt on the ends, and the sweet chili sauce seemed more drizzled over the wings than evenly coated, leaving a few pieces with little to no sauce. I really wanted La Nova to work out because our first experiences were so good, which is why we kept giving them another chance. But after five separate visits, consistency has unfortunately continued to be an issue. Sorry guys, but this was our last try. I hope others have a better experience.

The ribeye is tender, juicy, and packed with rich beef flavor. Every bite tastes fresh off the grill. The Cooper Sharp cheese melts perfectly into the meat, adding a creamy, slightly tangy finish that takes this cheesesteak to another level. Then there's the fresh seeded steak roll. Light, crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and sturdy enough to hold every delicious bite without falling apart. The balance is what makes this sandwich special. No ingredient overpowers another. The ribeye, Cooper Sharp, and seeded roll come together exactly the way a great Philadelphia cheesesteak should.

I didn't opt to visit first, had my hub went there for a pick up on a weekend. It was very closed to their closing time, so not much left. But hubby was able to get Fruit Tart, Flan cup, Tiramisu cup, and Bavarian Donut. I loved everything except the Bavarian Donut, it was a little too dry for me. After trying some of their bakery items, I knew I have to go and dine in. We decided to stop by today and went relatively early. We got there around 8:30ish, and WOAH, plenty of selections. To be honest, I wants one of everything lol. Especially the different mallorcas, they looks especially appetizing! We got some drinks from Zoe's Coffee Bar, they were deeeeelicious!! Of course, we decided to buy everything that caught our eyes. My daughter enjoy her Bacon Egg and Cheese Sandwich and Strawberry Shortcake Matcha, and she ask to come back soon:) She is very picky, but she enjoys the sandwich and matcha very much. Hubby enjoy his Caramel Latte and Beef Empanadas. BCB's Beef Empanadas is definitely on the better end, won't disappoint at all! I absolutely love my Lita Dulce Latte and Mallorcas with cheese. Everything were so good, we got more malloricas and other items to-go. P.S. Shout out to Zoe and the owner, both were very nice and patient. I love the ambience and customer service, we will be back soon:)
