Sonic really do deserve higher stars. I drop by Sonic because I love there shakes and freshly made onion rings. I wanted to order the coffee shake, they stop serving it but they still had the syrup so they hook me up! I even ask if they could put the Oreo crumbs in there and they did! The service was good and the shake and onion rings. The only thing I didn't like was that they charge extra for sauces, and they didn't tell me that it cost extra. Back in CA it's free... Service was great, it was actually pretty fast too, normally I end up waiting. But I got home (6 minutes away) and opened my burger to double check that there was no tomato only to find a few pieces of wilted lettuce, and one piece of bacon cut in half. Definitely not what was advertised. I added some ketchup and mustard to it since it only had mayo on it and tried to eat it but the lettuce was so wilted and slimy it was gross and I couldn't do it. Absolutely the worst ! We take bets with each other on whether they will have " the ice cream machine being cleaned" or not. Thursday at NOON we were told "machine being cleaned so no ice cream!" No ice cream on a hot day at noon? This has happened too many times. Sonic in Chehalis would be a good place to open a restaurant, they already have the building, just need management. Paid for extra Oreo and there are microscopic pieces of Oreo in this thing. Even after mixing it around there is NO Oreo in this. So, I go into Sonic (in Chehalis) every night after work! I order 2-4 cups of ice and spoons! Well, tonight I got my ice and headed home! about half way down into my cup there was a dead cockroach! Yup! A DEAD COCKROACH! I called the store and asked to speak to a manager! When I told them what had happened, the reply I got was... "Oh... uhhh... my bad. Come back and I'll replace it." SERIOUSLY? I work at Jack In The Box and if we ever had a costumer come to us with a complaint like THAT... there'd be a lot more happening that just replacing it! I will no longer be going to that Sonic and plan on contacting the local Health Department tomorrow! At 8:30 pm on august 22 2022 we drove over 30 minutes to get sonic. We ordered food and 2 ice cream blasts (snickers and a butter finger with EXTRA butterfinger) We got 2 cups of ice cream with barely anything sprinkled in. Like only candy on the top. We were totally okay just running back and fixing it, no biggie! Then we get to the drive thru where we explain our issue. The person on the mic told us they'd just give us extra candy. Which doesn't really fix our issue. So we just asked if we could remake them. Tried to be super nice! They told us to pull up and they would remake them. THEN the shift lead came up to us super annoyed. She was short with brown hair. Who honestly probably makes more money than me lol explained to us that it probably just wasn't mixed well and it's all at the bottom? And we should just stir it better We were like wtf that doesn't make it better and that Eating a whole thing of ice cream with just candy at the bottom sucks ass and we paid for a blast not vanilla ice cream. Anyways long story short, they remade ONE and was very very pissy over something that literally doesn't cost her anything. Like she isn't getting paid in commission on how many blasts she sells. Wow SLOWEST Sonic I have ever stopped at 30 yes 30 minutes for two drinks and a side! Super unfriendly staff dropping off the food and the bathrooms were a disaster. There are many other choices at this exit....Id skip Sonic if you are interested in eating the same day you order. Food was NOT worth the wait either!! It's a -show. I waited almost 40 minutes for three items - 2 drinks and a side of poppers. I watched people arrive and depart the drive in while I waited. I gave up and left. I'm a patient guy but the service wasn't bad - it was non existent. My first visit in a year and a half because of how awful my previous experience was. I don't know what made me give them another try. I wish I had not. How this place is still open is a mystery to me. Are the owners absent or just neglectful? To compound the nonsense the 'shift lead' was in the kitchen without their mask on. So were about half the crew. The other half mostly had theirs on wrong. That's just disrespectful to your customers. The goofs weren't even trying to hide it - the place is mostly windows. I deserve better treatment, and so do you. read more

The workers here are totally understaffed which can cause for some longer wait times. Prices tend to be a little higher than other fast food places, but I love how you can customize your perfect drink! Plus they have "happy hour" and can get super cheap drinks. The staff is always super friendly and accommodating. Never had a problem. We stopped there tonight for 2 ice cream cones and the guy comes out while we are the 4th car in line with 2 cones that have ice cream melted down his hands. He does not have any napkins around the cones so therefore his hand are in the ice cream. Talk about unsanitary. Extremely slow drive through process. I ordered via the app (a large Grape slush with Nerds) and for whatever bright idea, their drive in stalls are all "closed." Whoever thought it was a good idea to close the stalls is a real genius (sarcasm!). The drive through is slow as molasses and I've been waiting for a drink that they could've simply made and brought to the drive in stall... the drive through is literally five cars deep and I've been waiting for over twenty minutes. Avoid unless you want to wait forever. Or until the stalls open back up. read more

Tonight we ordered a Kids meal, a grilled cheese, a burger, some tots, and a shake. It took 30 minutes and we got cold food, the wrong food and a melted shake.
