Driving home from Portland and I had to stop for one of my favorite sandwiches. Yes, it's fast food -- but the way they toast the bread and steam the meat makes all the difference. The Hook & Ladder absolutely melts in your mouth every time. Simple, hot, and incredibly satisfying. I just wish there were more locations in the Seattle area. Service was fine, ambience is exactly what you'd expect from a sandwich shop, but when the food delivers like this, that's all that matters. Delicious, reliable, and always worth the stop. It was "National Sandwich Day" and we have a location near us so why not ? I ordered on the App and had special requests on the toppings. Easy enough the whole process including the payment was quick and hassle free. When the Sandwiches were opened they were prepared perfectly, all fresh ingredients and generous portions . I'm impressed . The runner we sent to pick up the food stated that the workers were really nice and it was very clean in there . Thank you Firehouse Subs crew for a great experience . I work nearby so I ordered a pickup order here for lunch. They have two racks for pick up on opposite sides of the store just fyi, I waited for an extra 15 minutes only to see that across the store. I ordered the firehouse captains club. I got it without the hot sauce, but it was so good! The place was super busy, so that's a good vibe. read more

The bad, salads have more filling than lettuce. Take out order off the app is always worse quality than dine in. Sandwiches seem sloppy and are rarely cut all the way. First walking in everyone was very nice and greeted me with good energy! I have always wanted to try Fire House Subs and today I ordered the Italian on wheat bread. It was sooo yummy! If I came back I would def add a little extra toppings but no complaints! Bread is well toasted along with the meat freshly cut and steamed so good! Landen makes a great Italian hahaha! Second time we have ordered from this location. Each time they don't pay attention to specific modifications. This can be dangerous due to allergies. Tried calling the store, twice, no answers. Had to drive back and we asked for a refund and got told no. Only said they would remake the sandwich. No compensation for getting the order wrong, driving back and forth and the loss of time. Customer service needs to be addressed. read more

I am a Firehouse Sub connoisseur, so I was super happy to find a location on my drive back home to Portland. However, this location is "ehh". Soon as I walk in, flies everywhere. Not just one or two, but MANY flies were flying around the store- by the front door, cash register, food prep area. It also smelled like garbage/old food. I almost left immediately but was hungry and in a hurry. Also, I ordered 2 Clubs on a Sub which comes with bacon, they forgot the bacon on both sandwiches and forgot the mustard, and a few other things. read more

We went in to the Centralia Firehouse for the first time monday eve, and were not disappointed! Never had eaten at a firehouse sub before, so took a bit for us to order but the employees were very helpful with all.of our questions and such. Which is also saying a lot as they were running short staffed and FINALLY had a few minutes to breathe before we saw the next rush come in. I think the pricing was great (for the pairs we got), and the food was great! I ordered the cheddar potato soup, which he had to go make more as they had just run out.... before our sandwiches were done, the soup was ready!! That will for sure always be included in my order! Well, I wanted to love this place but their complete lack of care with putting sandwiches together is astounding. I am a simple kinda woman. I like a turkey sandwich with some basic veggies (I only add chopped pickles, lettuce, onion and tomato). And they F it up every time. Every time. I have gone for a total of five times since they opened this location. I get once or twice.. but 4/5 times, it's been incorrect. Not ordering more than two sandwiches at a time. Yet they somehow always mix them up completely with unwanted toppings or don't even add the toppings you paid for. I like the quality of the food, but I never get what I ordered. The people who work in this place seem like they are lost and don't pay any mind to the customer. My husband is there right now trying to get our correct order once again. When will y'all realize that making a sandwich with three toppings isn't hard? I'm paying $10 a sandwich and I expect it to be correct. Is that crazy? You will continue to lose customers if you don't get some employees who give a damn. Maybe I'll try again in the future. read more

The food was ok. We all ordered different subs and we got a potato soup, mac & cheese, and oatmeal raisin cookies to share. The subs were ok. The bread on them was great, but the sandwich itself was ok. The potato soup was not very hot and also just ok. The mac & cheese is disgusting. It tastes like something pre-made from a box with breadcrumbs added on top. And the cookies were ok. Overall I think Quiznos is much better, but we will try it again with different subs and see if we like any others better. I know they just opened and are really busy, so maybe after a little time things will improve. We'll see and I'll update if it's better next time. read more
