So I will start with the good things, because I want to remain fair here. I have a 92 Chevy Lumina Van, it wasn't running at all after my father did some engine work. I posted to Facebook and Josh reached out about bringing it over. They did get it running, but the charge for the work looking back now was pretty expensive. And when I got it back it was idling rough.
Now in my mind for what I paid out which I believe totaled over 2 grand, you would think this van would be running perfect. No, the rough idle wasn't present before all the work had begun. So I reach out and they say ok bring it back up. I had it towed up, few days went by, some more work because it also had some issues with the radiator. At least another grand or so of expenses.
Get it back and this time it is better, but now when it is idling it completely breaks down, this time driving around Dundalk during rush hour.
Send it back up again and now all of a sudden it is the transmission allegedly. Now we are talking an entire transmission swap because of an apparent error code.
At this point I was done and had it towed back. Paid out another grand or so.
So after all this work and time and thousands of dollars I have a van that runs worse than it ever has and when I talked to Josh about this his response was that he got it running. Didn't know you wanted us to dig that deep into it and get it running perfect.
All while charging thousands that went directly to his Cashapp, asked for receipts which I never got. Seems to me like he was pocketing money while paying his crew the base rate. That is just conjecture, but I feel it must be said.
Once he knew that I had some money to put behind the work, he found every excuse to keep my van there to ring up the bill. Each time luckily I was able to get free tows from AAA since I am a platinum member, but he has the ability to tow, which he never once offered. With all the money he took you'd think that would have come with that.
I had a terrible experience and the transmission work was verified by multiple garages as nonexistent and not needed. They didn't get any of the codes he said he was getting and told me that I got swindled.
Avoid at all costs if you can and I know I will never be going back or recommending to anyone in my own network here.
Very disappointed with how things played out and if you are going to charge thousands then hand off a vehicle that runs bad, you know it runs bad that is just poor business. That first time when I mentioned it he was just like oh yeah, I did kind of notice that before you had it picked up.
Simply put I just can't recommend it and while at first I was ok with things here and glad to have the van running again, what I have been left with is an ongoing project while being out thousands of dollars I shouldn't have had to pay. read more
