Scammers. I asked for brows. She did brows. Then she suggested upper lip. I said yeah sure, upper lip. She started doing my chin too and I thought she was just going above and beyond. I go to the counter to pay and the guy at the counter butters me up "happy new year" etc. and says $30. Brows are $14 and lip is $8. Total should be $22 max. I pointed to the sign and said "eyebrows are $14 + 8 =$22." He refers to Soni and she kindly says I did your chin too. Wow. Scammers. They'll do an extra service without asking and expect you to pay for it. Ridiculous. Don't come here. They have good reviews probably because they know their regulars and who not to sucker. Low integrity place. She didn't even sanitize her hands before touching my face. They don't deserve your business. read more

Beware the technician will respect your request for service and over step by doing overall threading outside scope. Incredibly unprofessional because it feels like "me too" entrapment. I've heard so many good things about this place and also read the reviews, so I came here a month ago to give it a shot. Super excited to have a new spot to go to near the house. The lady who did my brows was really nice, but I was not happy. She didn't wash her hands, she only used sanitizer (better than nothing yes, but she was handling things behind the counter that I'm not sure about before she helped me). Honestly, I should have turned around at that point. When she worked on my brows, she kept digging her knuckles into my eyes... I'm not sure if it's a new technique or a result of covid since she didn't use her mouth to hold the thread. I don't know, but I was grossed out and annoyed. In the end, the my brows looked ok. Threading can be painful and in the past has made me breakout. This is not the case with Soni. Not only is she gentle and very sanitary, she is also very detailed. I will only get my eyebrows done here. Not only does she do high quality work, she's also really sweet. She charges $7 for eyebrow threading. I've brought my mom and sister here in the past and I would recommend it to anyone else looking for a great esthetician to do their eyebrows or any other facial hair for that matter. I give Soni an A+! Also, definitely trying stopping by during the week as this spot can get crowded on Fridays and the rest of the weekend. Sometimes her sister is around to help, but I personally would rather wait. While I'm sure Soni's sisters work is just as good, I don't want to take any chances. The eyebrow game is a serious one. I have a lot of hair for an Asian and have been to my fair share of eyebrow places. Soni's Threading Salon has by far been the BEST threading experience. When it comes to threading my eyebrows I am a lil b****.. Whether it is waxing/threading I am ALWAYS tearing up. However, when I came into Sonis, she was so gentle threading my eyebrows I was waiting for a tear to come out but I felt no pain!! It took her no more that 5-10 minutes to thread and my eyebrows came out looking on fleek. I highly recommend Soni she has a great personality and gets the job done right! I was in the area and Needed my eyebrows done and didnt want to drive all the way back to inglewood from Carson. So I pulled up Yelp and found this little gem with great reviews. First time here and I do not regret coming. Her customers seem to know her very well. She even knew their mothers! How cute was that! Very gentle which I love because I am very sensitive. By far the best eye brow threading salon I have been to. She doesn't have very long waits like some other places giving me the freedom to stop by whenever I feel. My brows are always exactly how I love them and I never feel like she threads them too thin. Many other places I have had issues with consistency but with Soni I have consistent wonderful brows. Based on the reviews, I took a big risk and came here for the first (and only...) time right before my wedding. Yup, ballsy, but I figured that it couldn't be so bad that a skilled makeup artist couldn't make it right. First impression was not so great, as I showed up about 2 minutes after opening time but the door was still locked. Another lady, a regular customer, was already waiting. Soni arrived about 10 minutes past the hour, so I ended up having to wait a little while. Not the most professional start. Secondly, since I told Soni I was getting married, she said I should get my whole face waxed. I really didn't feel like it was necessary so I declined, so she proceeded to start on my brows. She took her time and appeared to be meticulous. Partway through, she said, "It's your wedding, you should get everything done... I'll do it for you." I interpreted that to mean that it was a complimentary wedding gift, which I thought was a sweet gesture, so I said okay. My face did feel nice and smooth and had no irritation afterwards. BUT. UNCOOL. She charged me for the full facial threading. It's not like it broke the bank to pay for the unexpected expense, but I thought it was really dishonest how she pushed it on me after I initially declined and then charged me for it. And oh gosh, my brows. The shape was generally pretty nice, but I didn't realize until after I'd left that one arch seemed higher than the other. I tried to convince myself that I was seeing things, but as I repeatedly stared at my brows in the few days, I realized that I wasn't delusional :( But fortunately, my faith in my makeup artist was not misplaced; she was able to use some foundation to "erase" the overly high bit of one arch, and everything looked fine for the wedding. I'm writing this review months later because my trip here really left a sour taste in my mouth and I tried to let the emotions simmer (hey, looking good for the wedding is a really big deal...). Sometimes, after cooling off, I feel willing to give a business another chance, but I'm sorry to say that this time my mind hasn't changed. read more

All these positive reviews must be for Soni... I walked in and just went with the female that was sitting behind the desk for an eyebrow threading. I tried talking to her, and all she said to me was she was there on this and that day. Well, this woman, for some freaking reason kept digging her threads into my skin. I have gotten my eyebrows threaded more times than I count and I have never had a more painful experience. She was digging so freaking hard into my skin that I was reminded of the feeling of getting a tattoo shaded in. The skin under my eyebrows are now swollen and little red spots are dotted all around. She also took the longest time ever. While I appreciate she took her time to not mess up, she made this experience so freaking painful, that it wasn't worth it. If your business is going to have all these 5 star reviews for one person, the least you can do is make sure your other employees are up to par with giving other customers the same level of service. Sorry to write this review, but I am not happy with my results. I was excited, at first, to learn that an eyebrow threading salon was open near my home. I walked in to an empty business but other women arrived shortly after I was in the chair. The lady who threaded my eyebrows was very slow. I felt her redoing the same section, assuming she was trying to perfect her work. But as soon as she handed me he mirror I noticed that one eyebrow as thicker than the other. I pointed it out to her and she took another 10 mins trying to even them out. At that point I felt my skin burning due to her going over the same area repeatedly. Needless to say, I was not completely satisfied with my eyebrows at the end. My skin was burning for 3 days :(. Just take caution on who you trust with your face.... read more

I was in town to get some errands done, and I desperately needed to get my eyebrows done for a launch party I had to go to that night. I came in and there were 3 people in front of me, and at first I was getting impatient cause she took a while on each of them. BUT when it was my turn, I realized why.
