It's just $10 for eyebrow threading, though they do charge a $1 fee if you pay with a credit card. Despite its size, they have delivered great results each time. I was going here because I thought they were good and they were right by my work. I kind of always trusted the people to shape my eyebrows properly since I'm kind of bad at that. Every time after I went to her I would be bleeding on random spots on my eyebrows but I thought that was just my skin being sensitive Well I went to her a week ago and when I checked what I looked like at home, not only did I have a bunch of nicks, my eyebrows were really uneven!! Randomly stumbled into the newest eyebrow threading place in South Bay, located next to El Pollo Loco and a poke restaurant. Goma isn't a large space, but enough to feel comfortable. Umilia (spelling?) did a great job on my eyebrows. She took her time and even threaded to the outsides of my eyebrows, I appreciated the attention to detail. Umilia mentioned that Goma just opened about 2 weeks ago. I was pleasantly surprised that my cost was only $5 instead of the $7.99 posted on the door. This may be a grand opening special, not sure how long this promotion lasts. Don't forget to ask for a stamp card. Ample parking in this multi-tier plaza, which also houses LA Fitness, Trader Joe's, Goodwill, Marshalls, and a movie theater. I'll be back again in the near future. read more

I imagine that Mina was the technician who did my eyebrows. She was great! Her pregnant self is so cute. Super friendly, and the family environment that they have in such a small space, is awesome. I am trying to find the price list, because I thought that the door said $7.99 for eyebrows, but I was charged $10. I am fine with anything; however, I just like to know what to expect. There is a $1 charge for credit cards, so come prepared. I like that they have a rewards card to bring clients back. The guestbook had A TON of returning clients, so they are very popular. Looking back, I wonder if I had a first time client upcharge. ;) jk. It is a very small space, but there are two chairs and two technicians. There were 3 people in the salon at the same time, and they moved very quickly. The technicians are confident with their work, and make sure to get you in and out promptly. They are right next to El Pollo Loco! I had a hard time finding them at first in the busy shopping structure, but now I know where to look. :) read more

I used to go to Goma for years prior to the pandemic. I needed my brows done for my upcoming wedding so I went to her old shop on Gaffey & discovered that she'd moved to this location. It's perfect. They are horrible! After the woman did one eyebrow, I explained that I wanted it a little more shaped. First of all she argued with me and then I said I will just have the other woman finish me and the second woman got very defensive for the first woman. I tried to explain that this is my face and I want it shaped more and cleaned up more and they said "well you should go somewhere else". I have never had anyone who was providing a service to me get defensive and ask me to leave when all I did was explain exactly what I wanted. So I left with one eyebrow partially done. I would never recommend this place to anyone not necessarily because of lack of talent but because of the way they treated me. read more
