Song's has changed over the years, they've added Pablo and another mechanic Ozwaldo , and service has gotten a lot quicker so that you can walk in now and expect your car to be handled promptly, the parking situation is better now, songs has more spaces. They've added Electronic invoicing, new shelving and tool boxes, and a new lobby area since I've started going there in 2001. It's a great little workshop style mechanic shop to take your car, I've noticed Marco the manager getting very good at the latest diagnostic hardware and software and he's very good at sorting electrical problems, especially in British and German cars. He's equipped the the latest Snap-on Solis type OBD-II reader and can diagnose just about anything. Currently they work on my: 2006 S2000 - general maintenance 2003 M45 - general maintenance and oil leak repairs, replace the front and rear shocks, Replaced Throttle body and new valve covers 2003 G35 sedan - general maintenance and replaced the rear diff bushing and custom wiring so my side-marker blinks **update 5/12/15** Song's has replaced their alignment system with a new state of the art Hunter Hawk-eye unit, that can do even more and is fully computerized and they didn't change their alignment prices. I went to get an alignment because i purchased a set new tires this past week, and Pablo the technician got it lined up perfect with the wheel dead center and the car tracking and sitting strait, and he noticed one of my rear alignment settings was off and had maxed out the camber adjustment and suggested i purchase adjustable arms even while he tried his best to get it to spec, to make sure my tires didn't wear out too fast. *** Songs is the only shop I'd recommend locally to women, they're fair and Marco treats them friendly and is really helpful. As recent as april 2015 I've recommended one of my lady friends there and she got taken care of for a motor swap for her Lexus at a fair price." I had an alignment done on my m3. They were quick, but It was half assed. They properly adjusted toe and camber for the rear. For the front, they adjusted only toe. Caster and camber were not adjusted. Although it was still in the green. Camber was still a degree off on one side. Not bad for a regular person trying to get an alignment for their daily driver. read more

I had an aftermarket full suspension installed on my car down the street from Songs alignment which took all most all day to install. I called the shop just before closing and Marco (if I remember his name correctly) gladly stayed a few minutes after closing to get my car aligned. Especially after getting a full aftermarket suspension, he noted it was very important to get alignment soon after a huge modification. I did my research before I went for a alignment and Marco did my 2012 Hyundai Genesis. He spent about an hour doing the alignment and had a problem with the bushing and quoted me a price to repair it. I was ready to pay for the job and he said he didn't solve the problem and told me NO CHARGE. I was really taken a back but if I keep my car will go to him for the repair work. I had my Rear End on my truck rebuilt by south Bay 4X4 Frank did a great job so I needed it cleaned out of gear oil and new gear oil put back in I took it to Marco and when I got it back immediately it was making noise he didn't use the proper gear oil and it cost me $1200.00. I had Paid $2020.00 in the first place. I took it back to Marco who said its not his problem. No he won't pay for what he destroyed and his work isn't any way good. I have to have my alignment done over. I had him do a tune up at which he puts oil in he has not what it requires my truck calls for a 5 w 20 full synthetic, I showed him he put in 5w30 non synthetic he just does what he wants to and then stands there like an idiot. Lousy service He gave me a receipt that didn't specify anything related to my repairs no type oil nor did he say anything about gear oil. His alignment job had to be redone several times now my $175.00 tires each are wearing out I sent him my friends and I had him do work for me now I wish I never would have used him. I have done the type work he does only I do it properly but I'm 72 now. My truck is a 2004 Triton super crew with 55,000, original miles . read more

This place is totally overrated. The worst alignment shop ever. A piece of shit. Very crappy low quality work. I took my van in for them to do an alignment. The inexperienced young guy did a lousy shitty job. he did not seem to know what he was doing. I am freaking really disappointed and not happy about it. The wheel alignment he did is really sucked and it's not straight at all. it's worst than before i brought my van in. he really screwed up my wheel alignment. i paid 50 bucks for nothing and wasted my money. no bueno nada...mucho basura!! terrible alignment job!! p.s. if you need a wheel alignment, i do not recommend that you bring your car in here. they gonna mess up your wheel alignment and waste your time and money. Amazing customer service & amazing shop! I usually call around and ask for pricing before getting work done. This time I wanted to find a shop without asking about pricing at all. From start to finish, got an alignment on my truck, new lug nuts & new center wheel caps. All of that was taken care of within an hour. Once done, I was given a paper with results printed of before and after alignment. Lug nuts and center caps was icing on the cake. I nervously asked what the total is and was blown away by how reasonable the total was. I wanted to go somewhere that had great reviews without being thrown off by price. Let me tell you, if you're comparing prices, want the best customer service & great work, this is hands down best spot. I took my m3 to have it aligned here about a year ago. They did a great job and they were able to get close to the specs I wanted since I'm mostly stock and take my car to the track. I also recently took my daily driver Prius to get aligned and have the steering wheel straightened. Marco took care of it quickly. Great alignment shop! Called Marco for an alignment on a Sat and he told me to take it right in, no appointment. He quoted me a great price to align my Subaru BRZ which I had just lowered on some aftermarket springs and was done in about 30 mins. He gave me the spec sheet on the before and after and told me to take it back in if I add additional parts so he can adjust the camber. The toe was right at 0 all around and my steering wheel was back to being centered! Marco did the alignment himself and is a knowledgeable guy.
