Recently stayed at the Dreammore and had a great time. During my stay, I spent a little time at the Song & Hearth, initially to check out their Bourbon/Whiskey selection but ended up having a few dishes that were reminiscent of Dolly Parton's childhood - Fried Green Tomatoes and Stone Soup. I won't comment on parking as I had a room at the resort. You'll just have to call and ask. I also won't comment on reservations as I walked in and sat at the bar. Not a big bar - but it's usually never an issue when it's a party of one. Service was excellent. Fun, funny, friendly and warm. I wish I remembered their names - but, getting old and I did have a few pours. See pics. Will not be reviewing the pours as they'll have their own spotlight (distillery visit). But while checking out the menu, saw that a few items that specifically mentioned Dolly - so figured why the hell not. Plus, felt like I should add something in my belly along with the adult liquid beverages. See pics. The Fried Green Tomatoes were done well. Keep in mind this dish isn't served regularly where I'm from so I'm going by what I like. Tomato seemed green, or not ripe so they were firm and not mushy and not too tart either. The slices were nice - not too thin or thick. The breading was nice and even. Nice and golden - not overdone. Outside was crisp and crunchy while the inside was tender but intact. I enjoyed the dish. I would have liked some/more paprika for a little kick but I'd have this again served like this. Then I decided on the Stone Soup. My only complaint is I didn't have any stones in my soup to have as souvenirs. Yeah, I'm a dork. But the soup was brothy, light and simple. I would have added more salt for seasoning or maybe some bread to go along but I still finished the bowl. I likely wouldn't order it again though. A little too light for my preference so it's on my been there, done that list of things in life. I really did enjoy the service though. The team behind the bar made me feel like I was hanging out with them at their house as opposed to being a guest in a restaurant. It was a great time. I'd definitely go back to try other dishes. And pours. There were a few more I haven't tried yet.

Beautiful resort. Review is for Friday Surf & Turf at the restaurant. EVERYTHING was cold. Soup was lukewarm and everything I ate was cold. The taco bar was non existent until I asked for it. It's on the menu so I expected someone to flip tortillas on a black stone lol or at the very least have tortillas warmed up. When I asked for the taco bar, the chef looked surprised and said he had it behind the counter. I asked for both pulled pork (carnitas) and shrimp. He opened a package of tortillas and put cold carnitas on top of a cold tortilla pulled straight out the package! The shrimp was previously fried cold popcorn shrimp. There's no salsa, jalapeños, cilantro, chopped onions, or anything else. I suggest taking the taco bar OFF of your Buffet menu.

Buffet $22 each and free parking So this is in DreamMore Resort but you don't have to be a guest and free parking hello there sexy breakfast They have a omelet bar and fresh made pancakes and waffles, Coffee is brought to the table along with water other than that there's fresh OJ, Cranberry and Apple juice that's self serve Lots of choices from grits. Biscuits and gravy to sausage links and bacon, there was a granola bar, fresh toast along with butter and honey. I'm sure I'm forgetting something but trust me there's options for just about any diet and they're very attentive one young lady was walking a guest around showing her the gluten free options. You can make a reservation online to be safe but we were lucky and got right in and seated

We did the Prime Rib buffet they host on Saturday evenings and for $45 thought the menu was well worth it but the food had no flavor, everything was so bland. We tried a little of everything and wasn't impressed by anything. We both barely ate anything. The desserts looked amazing but donuts were still defrosting, not fresh a bit stale. Chocolate cake also dry. The restaurant is very nice, staff very welcoming. Service is getting drinks and that was fine.

I'm a sucker for anything Dolly or Dolly related so I had to give Song & Hearth a try. I'm sad to report that this restaurant was a big disappointment. Food was mediocre at best: My family of 3 chose the family style meal experience. Biscuits were very "box mix", green beans were cold, brisket serving size was 2 very small pieces, broccoli casserole was simply broccoli and cheese, fried chicken and catfish was again, mediocre. Desserts were good, very simple but good. The restaurant and resort are both decorated beautifully for Christmas. Our waitress was kind but service was overall very slow. At $32.95 per person, I honestly expected more from DreamMore Resort.

Came here while on Spring break vacation and we were pretty impressed. Despite it not being a buffet anymore which we didn't expect it still turned out good. It is currently served family style and we got the fried chicken, chicken and dumplings, and pot roast. The favorite of mine and my Wife's was definitely the fried chicken it was very delicious. My Wife also enjoyed the collard greens and I was a fan of the Mac and cheese. We would stop in again as like I said everything was delicious

A group of us dined here though our colleagues warned us the service was lackluckster the night before. Being the only option at the DreamMore resort, we decided to eat here without wanting to go out. Service was a mess, we didn't know who our server was. A blackberry margarita (which is really tasty!) was given in a broken glass. Someone took it away, but 10-15 minutes later, we had to ask where the new drink was. Busser tried to take away our appetizers when we still clearly had food left on the plates. Asked for tabasco and was never given it so when I asked the waitress, she said she forgot. Fried green tomatoes and pimento dip with chips were good. Shrimp and grits, grits were way too clumpy and cold. Banana pudding wasn't the classic version with chopped bananas and instead just banana flavored pudding. Breakfast buffet here was excellent though, enjoyed the egg/omelet station and biscuits and gravy.

Dear Friends, Dolly resides in my living hero book and I will forever celebrate her. Her career has shown me that no dream is to insignificant and that includes pouring into her home state. If you haven't had a chance to visit Tennessee and the places she's left her footprint, what are you waiting for? While visiting "Dollywood," I had the opportunity to snag a reservation to dine at Dolly's flagship restaurant Song & Hearth. Before checking in for our reservation, we took some time to explore the beautiful resort. It's filled with mementos and memorabilia from an amazing career. I was humbled to see the number of hit songs she's written yet always finding a way to spotlight her home. In a world where people are trying to live the life they think others should see, Dolly has remained true. Song & Hearth is a buffet style restaurant that features: biscuits salad bar carving station/pulled pork station build your own grits station ‍ A variety of entrees kid friendly food station dessert wall I was exhausted and failed to fully film the food but I promise it's worth every penny. I plan to snag reservations for the first day of my trip next time. Group Suggestions: This is a great place to take a large group. They have ample seating and there is literally something for everyone on the menu. They also feature a great breakfast selection much earlier in the day. #Pigeonfirge#DreamMoreresortandspa#song&hearth#reaturantsinpigeonforge#yelp#thingstodointennessee#dollywoodvacation

Run, don't walk and visit this amazing eatery! Nestled in the beautiful hills of the Smokey Mountains it was a blessing to spend my Mother's Day's evening in the company of my beautiful daughter and enjoy such a fine meal. The timing couldn't have been better we chose 5:30 but arrived early. Our meal was buffet style and the staff Her name was Barley which was as special as she was sweet she took our drink order and welcomed us to enjoy as we liked! My daughter chose the prime rib from the carving station which was cooked to perfection She also enjoyed a side of pasta and a salad. For myself, I enjoyed a shrimp cocktail to start and I also chose the prime rib which was delicious! I love to try different regional dishes and there was a Cajun dish the deserved a try accompanied with a serving of wonderful cheese grits. I also enjoyed a good serving of collard greens my personal favorite which were out of this world! We did save room for dessert Mini cheesecake for my daughter and for myself Made to order Banana's Foster Fabulous Hands down the best meal of our trip Will definitely be back Great job everyone !

Song and Hearth is Dollywood's Dreammore resort main dining facility. Serving both breakfast and dinner advance reservations are strongly recommended. My family came here for breakfast on our first full day at the resort. We were seated in a spacious Southern style dining room complete with a fireplace. Having ordered the buffet I wanted to get a mini Dollywood cinnamon bread but learned they didn't have them for today. We would have to go to DM pantry. Needless to say when we got that cinnamon bread it was very good and enough to last several servings. Our buffet had an omelette station, all types of Southern meats including ham, applewood sliced bacon, sausage, grits. hash browns, egg scrambles, breads, pastries, hot and cold cereal, along with fresh fruit. Let's not forget the waffles with the butterfly in the center along with different types of pancakes and French toast. There is so much there you definitely won't leave hungry. My personal favorite was the prime rib hash. The prime rib tasted so soft and was delicious! This place is pricey since you are in the Dreammore resort. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive to our needs. However when one is on vacation spending a bit more is definitely worth it. Open to both guests and visitors to Dolly's Dreammore resort.

Visited for Sunday brunch and found this to a hidden gem. All of the generic pancake houses in the area were packed and it was refreshing to be able to book a reservation. We walked in and we're seated right away. The buffet consisted of an omelette station, prime rib and pork loin carving stations, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, grits, fried chicken, biscuits, gravy, Mac and cheese, pastries, pancakes, hash browns, etc. Everything we tried was great and I thought the price was very reasonable.

What is the seating arrangement? I am trying to book a dinner reservation and it asks me if standard seating?…

The seating is just like a normal restaurant. Tell them you want the tables all next to each other. They also will ask if your doing menu or buffet. Enjoy. Call them.

Does this restaurant accept breakfast reservations? I'm looking at booking more than 6 months in advance, and it says there's no times available on any of the dates I'm listing. (Dinner reservations have plenty of times.)

We made breakfast reservations but it was just for the next day. No problems and we were easily accommodated.

Is this restaurant only for resort guests? Thank you all so much for answering!

No it's for everyone. I think you just get a discount if you stay at the resort.

I purchase Arturo Fuente Hemingway Short Story cigars for $8.75 in N. Fla. The Pigeon Forge stores are charging a 45% premium for the same cigars. Thus, my search for a quality Cigar shop continued which in turn lead me to Destination Cigars. I found Destination Cigars via a Google search and am thrilled to have been able to go by and see the place, meet and talk with the owner Charles.
