Clearly I'm over 21, along with everyone else in the party, and I'm buying alcohol not crack yet you'd think I was trying to score a few hundred hydros. We have always loved mellow mushroom and enjoy stopping into a new location when we travel. While the food is pretty much the same, each store is decorated differently. When we walked in, it was awfully quiet for a Friday. I would imagine it's probably off season for them. There was a girl training as a hostess and told one of the girls to take us to a table they was filthy and full of dishes. Something I can look past. But the girls training seemed annoyed and it definitely came off that this wasn't the first time that night. We sat down and ordered pretzel bites and a medium pizza. Had a late lunch here on a Wednesday afternoon. They have their own parking lot with additional parking in the back. There are GF and dairy free pizza options. They also have quite a large drink menu. I ordered a white sangria which was confirmed GF however when they brought the drink out it had a paper straw. I read that paper straws could contain gluten so I asked for it to be remade. My friend and I shared 2 GF pizzas. They only have 1 size and can make 4 speciality pizzas certified. We had a plain cheese and a kosmic karma. They brought out both pizzas separately to avoid cross contamination with the rest of the party. The pizzas were really good! We've been fans of this franchise for years and decided to have a late lunch at this one. The look was different from the others we had visited...and we expected nothing less. 70s themed and a great soundtrack playing in the background. My wife's half was totally veg. I had the meats on my side and their pepperoni was thin and spicy. The lighting wasn't great for photos (or I was too hungry to bother, pick a reason), so I'll leave it to your imagination how good the pizza looked with green peppers, Roma tomatoes and pepperoni on top. We absolutely love mellow mushroom and almost fall out of our seats every time we have the Holy Shiitake pizza. At this particular location, while it was good, it just wasn't like the location in STL. STL's location has large, almost peels, of parmesan spread across the top, and it's that tanginess along with the savory mushrooms that make the pizza to die for. There was no parmesan on this pizza, which while the pizza was still good, it just didn't hit like the location I go to regularly. The ricotta on the Great White was nice and the blistered tomatoes were seasoned well and gave a nice sweet tang. It was a more mellow (haha) pizza and not super flavorful like the shiitake, but it was what I had expected it would be. The basil could have been a bit fresher and more aromatic, though. The ambiance was nice. We came during lunch on a weekday, so it wasn't super loud. read more

We used to have a location near us and liked this place so we came here for dinner. They were relatively slow so I was pretty surprised we had bad service. Everything we asked for was forgotten and had to be asked for multiple times, our food came out without plates or napkins, our smallest child's food came out about 10-15 minutes before ours so he was done and had to be entertained while we were trying to eat.
