We stayed at Sonder Pierce Boston for our week stay in Boston. It's an apartment-style hotel, and we rented a a nearly 1000 sq foot, two bedroom, two bathroom unit with en suite laundry. It was absurdly expensive, at $3,588.33US (the currency conversion to CAD will make you sick), and that was after the $1,500 discount because we were staying for 7 days! But it was cheaper than renting two hotel rooms and there was a full kitchen, so we saved on eating out.
Located on Brookline Avenue, Sonder Pierce Boston was in a fairly quiet neighbourhood with amenities, and within walking distance to Fenway Park. It was also near a subway station (the closest station being Fenway Station), so it was easy to get into downtown Boston.
We enjoyed our stay and if I could afford it, I would stay there again. However, about a month later, in November 2025, Sonder, which was affiliated with Marriott, filed for bankruptcy and abruptly shut down, cancelling all their reservations. Thank goodness we went to Boston when we did!
