My business was born from a lifelong connection to creativity, transformation, and self-expression. My journey into the beauty industry has been deeply personal and far from traditional. In November 2025, I graduated from nail school and became a licensed nail technician. Today, my work focuses on detailed, alternative nail and makeup artistry in a space that feels welcoming, judgment-free, and genuine.
Meet the Business Owner: Elysia L.
I grew up in Florida in a house where creativity and self-expression were deeply encouraged. My parents ran haunted houses, introducing me to cosmetics, special effects, and transformative art at a young age. Creating art is one of the biggest constants in my life.
My path into this industry has not been linear. Chronic illness and mental health struggles shaped the way I learn, move through the world, and connect with others. After nearly completing cosmetology school in 2019, I had to withdraw due to my health. During the pandemic, I experienced years of housing and financial insecurity while continuing to pursue my art.
Despite everything, I graduated from nail school and became a licensed nail technician in November 2025. My experiences gave me a deep understanding of how meaningful self-expression, comfort, and care can be during difficult times.
Above all else, I want the space around my work to feel human, and safe for authentic self-expression.
