The lady who cut my friend's toes started talking loudly in Russian, like she was mad, but she was not the one who was cut, so we were not understanding her yelling. They only gave her a 10% discount, which was not enough for all the pain, burning, and discomfort my friend was forced to suffer. And a discount had to be asked for. Yet, some lady who did not like her nail color was offered the world!!! smh We were told it is expected to get cut. Really? 4 times? No one explained the possiblity of being injured!! That's not okay at all. We gave them good business, and the treatment received after my friend sustained several cuts was well below subpar!! smh Then I reached out to the owner and shared the photos with him. I received complete silence! Not a good look as a business owner. I'm very angry and disappointed that my friend was mishandled after being cut so many times by these professionals...... So, this is an update: The owner, Aibek called me after seeing the reviews I posted. He never asked how my friend was doing even after I told him that she still experienced bleeding on her cuts a couple of days after receiving services here. He asked what he could do, and then offered 2 free manicures. I didn't know, but he only offered something because he is trying to save his reputation, not because he cares about the clients. This was so selfish to ask me to remove my reviews because it all happened and people need to know, which is the purpose of leaving a review. Aibek is only about saving his reputation, not treating every customer like they matter. Real messed up! This happened 7 days ago, so he was not concerned.

The 1st visit I had a classic mani pedi, and the 2nd I had a spa mani pedi. It's likely I will stick with the spa mani pedis going forward, because my aging skin needs some extra TLC. I opted for regular polish versus gel. I couldn't believe how nice my polish looked well into the 2nd week with regular polish. I'm rough on polish, and I love to garden and do yard work without gloves. I've never had polish stay on my hands that long! It is usually a few days tops. Nautica is very particular and detailed about her work, and you can tell she takes pride in her job. Today, I did see one of the other nail techs handy work, and it looked great as well. Other services such as facials, waxing, etc. Soon, they will offer massage services as well. They can also book couples or groups. Snacks and beverages are complimentary with your service. Until now, I have had poor experiences with mani pedis since I moved to JAX. I am so glad I found Riverside Beauty Boutique as this is the best place to have your nail services done in JAX.

I got there and had to wait an additional 30 minutes. No problem. I get started. Water is super hot- Great. I choose my deluxe pedicure $37. He talked me into adding the Volcano spa- $10. I chose tropical citrus. Smelled just like home (Hawaii). Flowers and pineapples. The tech kept poking and cutting my toe cuticles. I had to say it hurt a few times. Then I just bared it. This is part of why I gave them 2 stars. The other price is the additional charge that they couldn't explain. My total was $80. Where did the additional charge come from. I didn't get anything extra done. $47 to $80. If you go there, just be clear to ask what they're charging you for. I won't be going back.
