Went here on a Saturday for brunch and it wasn't that packed yet. We ordered our usual - truffle mushroom pasta and mussel stew. We also tried the burrata salad for the first time. The truffle mushroom pasta wasn't as good as it used to be. It still has the same creaminess but the truffle flavor is lacking. The pasta was a bit overcooked too. For the burrata salad I wish they put at least 2 burratas for a better proportion. There were a lot of grape tomatoes and arugula for only one burrata. On a brighter note, the mussel stew was good - my son devoured it lol. The place itself is nice and spacious. It's a cute spot to eat and catch up with friends.
A cute spot with good food! I personally ordered the carbonara, which I found to be very flavorful. It was very creamy, somewhat sweet, and had bits of meat in it. I would recommend trying other pastas if you want something more savory! It took a bit for them to get our orders and to receive our food as all tables were filled, and they only had one person working the floor for most of the hour before the restaurant closed. Overall, they have an extensive menu and a simple, cute aesthetic. I love the idea of fusion foods, so I'm glad I got to try Somethin!
A modest cafe with okay food. Waitstaff was attentive and friendly. Shrimp pasta was great and was the only plate we finished. Prosciutto brie toast had too much jam which made it cloyingly sweet for us, personally. The truffle fries were confusing. Truffle was not present -- La Croix is more flavorful than these fries. Many of the fries had an inconsistent fry on them, with one side being considerable more cooked than the other. The shrimp toast sando was unbalanced. Way too much salad, and too finely chopped made it structurally difficult to eat. The shrimp flavor was anemic to begin with, and was further overpowered by the overly sweet yuzu sauce on the bread, which also made it soggy. The side tomato salad was great, and we wished this also accompanied the prosciutto toast. I ordered cream latte at the tail end, and I am glad I did -- the coffee is the one thing I would come back for.
Simple looking cafe but food was delicious!! The pasta and prosciutto toast was 10/10. Waitress was extremely patient and friendly. I requested espresso over ice with a splash a milk and she totally understood the assignment. The vibes are cute. Nothing too special. I want to come back to try more pastas for sure.
The food was so good! The chicken was definitely spicy and the salad was a surprise hit. The pasta was also creamy and delicious but was overshadowed by the other foods. The interesting thing about this location is that it doesn't feel like a restaurant. The setup of the furniture gives more of a cafe vibe because the tables are not consistently the same and it's an open space. However, the process of sitting down and ordering feels like a restaurant because the pasta and meals take a while to prepare and because they are full meals compared to a snack. Gets pretty loud if there are a lot of people inside. Staff was helpful in advising that the chicken needed to be mixed otherwise it would burn. Even though they have an outdoor section, it was closed on a Saturday when I was visiting. Not sure if it open on other days, but it is not dog friendly.
The menu drew me in, but the food left a lot to be desired. It was fairly empty at 8pm, so thankfully we were able to get a table. Pretty and quiet ambiance with moderately dim lighting. The servers were quick to get our orders, bill, and offered recommendations. Both of our pastas lacked flavor. For a savory dish, the cream sauces were very heavy in cream flavor and lacked salt, seasoning, and depth. The parmigiano cheese- any cheese really- was undetectable in both pastas. Truffle mushroom pasta was incredibly bland, while the steak cream pasta was bland with a sweet aftertaste. For a savory dish, it was really disappointing. I could not finish my pasta. The very humble-looking steak, while small, thin, and oddly not having a sear/char (not super appealing), was pleasantly tender. The garlic bread, however, was the saving grace- nicely toasted and savory. My favorite was actually the caprese salad, but that's hard to mess up. It's a nice place for a last-minute date or meetup without making reservations. Menu impresses but the execution was not so great. Unfortunately, I would not come again.
I was not impressed with the korean italian fusion. It was very much lacking in the elements of korean food as their tteobokki (which is advertised on the menu as "k-food") was simply some form of marinara sauce and the vegetable was a sad take on kimchi. The mentaiko cream pasta was unremarkable. I'm not sure if they're better as a cafe but it's definitely not the place to go for Korean food. Service was fine and the decor was nice.
Somethin has been on my list since they opened, but it's not exactly near me, so I haven't had a chance to check it out until now. The menu is extensive, and everything sounded appealing, but I ultimately landed on the kimchi bacon pasta. The pasta was an explosion of flavor, combining the complex sour, spicy, and salty notes of kimchi with a rich and creamy pasta sauce. The simmered heavy cream based sauce works to temper the acidity of the kimchi, resulting in a bold and savory sauce that pairs perfectly with pasta. Kimchi pasta is one of my favorite fusion dishes, and the cooks at Somethin definitely do it justice. I also ordered a grape crush soju cocktail. The drink tasted like a grape Jolly Rancher, and it was absolutely delightful. So whatever you're in the mood for, you'll certainly satisfy your taste buds here at Somethin ;) ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. How is this spot not all over social media yet?! It's giving understated elegance with a dash of Tokyo-meets-Scandi café energy. The aesthetic is minimalist in the best way--think clean lines, warm lighting, neutral tones, and just enough plants to make you feel like your life is more put together than it actually is. Basically, if Muji opened a restaurant, this would be it. The menu is equally impressive: Asian-inspired dishes with a modern twist, plus brunch staples and pastas that feel both comforting and elevated. I got the burrata seafood pasta (yes, I'm a person who orders cheese on seafood--no regrets) and the loaded nachos, and let me just say, the portions were comically large. Like, "why did I wear jeans" large. Coffees were solid--nothing overly fancy, but they paired nicely with the vibe and the food coma I was slipping into. Service was quick and low-key (bonus points for not being overly chatty before my caffeine kicked in). Prices were totally reasonable considering I left with both leftovers and inner peace. Parking wasn't a headache either, which in this city feels like winning the lottery. If you're into minimalist aesthetics, big portions, and food that makes your taste buds clap--run, don't walk.
Came here for the second time yesterday and it's just as good as I remember. Me and my friends each got our own Carbonara and shared the Parmesan Garlic Fries. The Carbonara we all agreed is the best we've had. It's so creamy and savory with the perfect amount of garlic, bacon, and onions. The fries were also delicious and perfectly thin and crispy. I especially loved the sauce it came with--really made it a stand out. It's not super garlic and cheesy though so if you're expecting something of that flavor, it's a bit more subtle. Service is always a 10/10 and the aesthetic is very modern, clean, and a great place to dine with friends. I'm already looking forward to coming back!
Been here couple times and pasta is always good here. Last time I got the rose pasta and it was amazing. This time I tried something different and ordered tteokbokki and cream pasta. Surprisingly good mix. One thing is that it can get a bit chilly inside. Great during the day but not so much at night (could've been just me though). Staff is very friendly and plenty of parking at any time of the day.
My friends and I came here for brunch a few weekends ago. I liked the fact staff answered any questions we had about the menu as some of us had dietary restrictions. I ordered one of the Korean street toasts, and really enjoyed the sandwich. Everything was so flavorful and satisfying. One of the others ordered the chop steak pilaf and that was so delicious. I will definitely come back in the future.
A friend of ours found this place as our meet up half points and it was such a hole in a wall. You wouldn't have noticed this shop if you pulled up into their parking lot. We came here with a reservation at 10AM, however, there was only one host working. There were probably at least 3 tables full, some already ordered and some were still waiting. As we got seated, it did take longer to order as people started showing up as groups and we knew it would as time order before we have to wait longer. Ordered - Beef Tataki Salad - good, but may have over did it with the dressing Asian Chicken Salad - loved, the dressing wasn't overpowering Truffle Mushroom Pasta - loved, would have eaten a whole plate myself Steak Cream Pasta - not bad, though I think it's the same meat they use for their steak salad, which I don't mind because I like efficiency Cream Seafood Pasta - loved, would have eaten a whole plate myself If you prefer to sit down and eat after grocery shopping next door ( Skater bros ) then definitely check it out. The service got better after another staff came in for their shift. Would we come back? Yes.

We had the rose pasta and the steak cream pasta. The steak cream pasta sauce was just a white sauce pasta with nothing else going for it, but the steak was cooked well. I really enjoyed the rose pasta!! It had good flavor and a good kick in spice. It was a cute little cafe-esque restaurant and staff were really nice. read more
Fantastic pasta with numerous choices to select from. Had to make a couple trips out there to fully experience their menu. Definitely will be returning again with a regular crew. So here are the four dishes we tried: 1. Bacon and Kimchee pasta: yes you heard right, kimchee pasta. Exquisite and my new favorite pasta . Must learn to make this at home. I've been dreaming about it every night since. If you're Korean you understand no matter how tightly you seal the jar the smell of kimchee still seeps out and dominates your refrigerator. Well, the pasta is not stinky at all and the pasta is a creamy red sauce with a hint of kimchee flavor (less of a kimchee flavor than the sautéed kimchee/김치볶음. And they add quite a bite of bacon (not angry about this) so can actually pack it for lunch to enjoy with your coworkers. Don't know how to describe the flavor too well but trust me you won't regret it. 2. Truffle mushroom pasta: Fabulous again. I just love truffle so the more the merrier for me. As you would anticipate it's a very creamy pasta with loads of truffles so if you're a fan please try it. For me I typically need a mix of creamy with some sort of spicy or marinara blend so dabbled with both dishes. 3. Gamberry pasta: this is a seafood pasta made with Korean Gochujang (red spicy paste) sauce. Not a fan but heard it is one of the most popular pastas sold. Not my favorite but didn't hate it either. Just felt the Gochujang flavor and pasta just doesn't go well together. 4. Rose Tteokbokki: lovely! So good. It's a rose sauce with perfectly cooked and soft rice cakes, fish cakes, and variety of veggies. I love Rose so this was a hit for me. Overall fantastic dishes, especially their pastas. Absolutely love the kimchee pasta so will be coming back for more. Wish you open a store in Irvine area. I would be coming in more often read more

This place is delicious! Only tried two items, but definitely want to come back. The portions are huge and full of flavor! Bacon kimchi pasta was so decadent and filling. Bulgogi fried rice was delicious too, loved the pairing of the salad. Vibes inside were nice, plenty of seating, a nice outdoor area. Service was great, very friendly staff. I just discovered this hidden gem in La Mirada today, but can't wait to be back to try more things. So many delicious items on the menu. read more
My daughter and I were curious about a Korean Italian fusion restaurant. Wow - the mentaiko cream pasta had such rich, amazing seafood flavor. It was delicious. The burrata salad portion was really good- with lots of arugula, tomatoes. It was very clean and bright. Service was good. read more
After seeing this restaurant on IG, I decided to give it a try on a day that I was in La Mirada. I ordered the steak cream pasta and soju mojito. The pasta was very creamy and decadent, while the steak was very tender. It also came with a side of arugula, which really helped balance out the pasta, and baguette, which I used to mop up the leftover pasta sauce. I also liked the mojito, which I thought was very refreshing. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal and would come back more often if there was a location closer to me. read more
Korean-Italian fusion! Yes please! The place has a nice clean ambiance. The staff were all attentive and pleasant. The service was fast. Overall we enjoyed it here. Food: Rose Tteobokki - 9/10 - it's so good and creamy. It came with cabbage, tteobokki noodles, an egg, and fish cakes. My 9 yr loved it and finished it except the cabbage. It would have been a 10 if it was a little bit more spicier and had less cabbage. Chop steak pilaf - 7/10 - it's fried rice with big chunks of beef, bell peppers and an egg. I'm not sure what the white sauce is. My husband enjoyed it but this was my least favorite dish out of what we ordered. It was just a bit greasy for me. Bacon Kimchi Pasta - 8/10 - it's so good and creamy. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. You can take the kimchi but is not overpowering. Gamberry Rose Pasta 10/10 - my favorite dish out of all. It's a creamy sauce topped with shrimp, mushrooms and masago. The pasta was al dente, just how I like it. I've never had pasta with masago on it and I have to say that it actually works. I really loved this open, clean, cafe-style vibe. I felt like I was transported to Korea or Italy in the middle of La Mirada. This spot is super close to Biola's campus, so definitely a great find if you're a student there! We ordered a bunch of stuff, but definitely recommend any of the pasta dishes! The steak salad meat was a lotttt smaller than expected based on photos, but the shrimp portions on the pastas were very generous. Prices were also SO reasonable for what we got. Will definitely be back! read more
My friend and I stopped by for brunch and we were lucky that we were able to get a table right away. The decor is super cute here. Service is friendly and food comes out pretty quick. I tried the #somethin cream latte, she had the dirty matcha. We shared the Gamberry Rose Pasta and the Open faced shrimp avocado toast. Presentation of everything was beautiful and everything was delicious. I loved all the ingredients in the avocado toast, there was plenty of avocado, the shrimp was tasty, and the addition of the radish slices gave it a refreshing crunch. The pasta was a bit spicy, but I love spicy so I really enjoyed it. The pasta sauce was rich and creamy and I loved mopping it up with the bread that came with the dish. Based on the items we ordered, I have a feeling everything else on the menu is just as delicious! Highly recommended for some creative twists on traditional items. I wanted to like it but it was lacking. Four of us went and definitely felt the staff were kind of off putting. The main server seemed so disassociated and the younger girl seemed to have forced smiles. It was strange. My son got the French toast was looked amazing. My husband and other son got breakfast sandwiches which they said were good. I ordered the avocado shrimp toast. The avocado was clearly from a pack like the ones at Costco. It wasn't good at all. The tables weren't as clean as they should be. The windows and floors were filthy. Started noticing these details after we had been sitting for a bit. read more
My friend wanted to try this place and it was great!! I got the seafood pilaf and a strawberry latte. My friend got the Demi glace omelette. Both are good, big size portions! The seafood pilaf was good but I didn't expect it to be spicy cause there was no spicy sign next to it on the menu. But still good. There is a good amount of seafood, but the mussel shells, some were missing mussels lol. The strawberry latte is light. And the service was wonderful. They checked on us several times. Place is big and open. Nice decor. Tables are big, good for sharing a bunch of dishes together. They offer everything from coffee to brunch to dinner menu and dessert. Came here on weekday dinner time. Not full house but they have quite a bit of customers. We got kimchi bacon pasta and gambas. Both heavy dishes but tasty. Any meal would be insta-worthy. Get your phone ready. This place is located in the stater bros plaza. Plenty of parking. Staffs are nice- they kept asking how we're doing and helpful with explaining the menu or offer recommendation. One could say a little too much though, I just wanted to chat with a friend. I understand wanting to expedite customers, but wasn't like there was anyone waiting for the table or that close to closing time. read more

This place has a cute and cozy vibe. The decorations are very aesthetic and it is very clean! The service here was good! We got the grilled pork toast and the mentaiko paste and the somethin cream latte. grilled pork toast: 9.5/10 it was very good. the sauce that was on the toast was very good, it was sweet and had a hint of yuzu. if you like sweet and salty things, you would like this. mentaiko pasta: 8/10 this was also pretty good, the noodles were cooked very nicely and the sauce was good. there was a little too much sauce but that was just personal preference. somethin' cream latte: 8/10 the drink was a little sweet for me but overall was pretty good! read more
Luckily we didn't have to wait for too long. The food was good. But cheese buldak didn't look like the image. The restaurant didn't melt the cheese. I think it would have been better if they torched and provided freshly melt cheese for this dish. The pasta was delicious (the bread came out later). Probably come back again if I am in the area. read more

The food was 5 stars & finger licking good staff was very attentive very knowledgeable very helpful. Very caring. The restaurant is small but cozy can see 37 people very clean and also have many great choices on the menu. We are definitely going back. You should try also. You will not be disappointed read more
Parking: Very easy even on a Saturday/ Sunday brunch day. I would say to come early to check in on their Yelp waitlist in case their place get's especially busy. If you order all these dishes with a group of 4 people, this will fill you up. Banana Latte: Tasted more of the latte than the banana. Gamberry Rose Pasta: Don't play with the spicy level. It's not death spicy but it's a bit like Shin Ramen spicy. Would not recommend this dish for my non tolerant spicy people. Pasta is wonderful though, sauce was like uni cream, there were bits of masago (tiny fish eggs) to add a nice texture, 2-3 regular shrimp and a jumbo shrimp in the dish. Beet Tataki Salad: Would highly recommend for anyone! The beef was cooked so well, medium rare on the inside and the outside sliced edges were really crispy! Salad was refreshingly and dressed well with their vinaigrette, tomato, and shredded cheese. Gambas: Not my favorite dish. The sliced bread was presented in the skillet so bottom portion of the bread was overly greasy. There was too much olive oil at the bottom of the pan than necessary. Toasted whole garlic and olives, I think the only redeemable feature of the dish would be the shrimp. read more
came here with my boyfriend and had a great experience. the interior is so cute and there was a decent amount of seating. we made a reservation at non-peak hours so we didn't have to wait at all. we ordered the bacon kimchi pasta and the carbonara and both were delicious. the sauce for the carbonara was so creamy and rich. both dishes were quite filling so one of these dishes is definitely enough for one person. would recommend! read more

Second times a charm ~ First time we were here, the MOMENT we parked right in front and the guests that were leaving the restaurant informed us that they had just ran out of pasta.. Our second time here, we walked in at around 4PM and we were informed that the dining service doesn't start until 4:30.. they said we were able to order drinks but we told them that we would just come back later. so we walked around the plaza and got boba nearby while we waited. Once we walked in, there were already a couple of people seated - so expect a wait time as this cafe is on the smaller side. But that just meant that the food was obviously good! Our server was kind and gave us great recommendations! SOJU COCKTAILS for brunch?! Say less! This Korean-Italian restaurant has just launched their alcohol menu and I'm not gonna lie, I was impressed. They're currently running specials like soju bottles and makkeogli for only $6.99(!!), and for non-drinkers, don't worry--they can make delicious mocktails like a virgin Mint mojito and Screwkiss, and also other bevvies like the Summer mango smoothie. Of course the food was incredible too, like the Beef tataki salad that was a work of art. I had been craving French toast so when I saw this on the menu, I KNEW I had to order it IMMEDIATELY. They're known for their pasta dishes here, and the Tomato seafood pasta definitely did not miss. Thanks for reading! ^-^ read more

This is my first time trying a Korean-Italian brunch/dinner place. I have to say it's a great experience. This store serves some amazing dishes and drinks. The quesadilla and Nachos come in large portions, so fresh and cheesy, perfect for sharing with my family. My favorite is the creamy pasta with steak, made with fresh ingredients, the beef is very tender, and the pasta has generous amount of sauce, perfect for the socal winter weather. The smashed potato with octopus dish is very unique, using a whole big leg of octopus, cooked perfectly, dipping into the sauce was perfect, and I was surprised to find that I love their mashed potato more than usual, they taste extra creamy and fresh. For drinks, I LOVE their strawberry lemonade, it has fresh lemonade piecces inside, taste refreshing and not over too sweet- a perfect balance for the meal. The decor is modern, bright and stylish with a calm and enjoyable vibes. We went during a weekend dinner time, and it was so packed, so make sure to prepare extra waiting time,but the food is worth the wait. Located in a convenient parking lot with enough parking spots. All in all, I will give this place a 5 stars, will come back try their steak salad and desserts. read more

This is La Mirada's best kept secret! We were confused while dining here because the quality of the food and the ambiance just doesn't match. We felt the restaurant should be more upscale but appreciated the calm, open concept, and friendly service we received while dining here. We tried a few of their dishes and each one was packed with flavor and quality ingredients that wow'd and impressed us. We had: Gambas, Kimchi Spam Fried Rice, Beef Tataki Salad, and Steak Pasta. From all the dishes, my favorite was the Gambas. The extra large shrimp was swimming in olive oil, spices, garlic, and olives. I've never had anything like it. It came with perfectly toasted and buttered sliced baguettes. I had no idea how to eat this but the kind waitress taught us to smear the garlic, dip in olive oil, and top with shrimp and olives! So good! My brother ordered the milk tea and husband tried the mango green tea. We can't wait to come back to this place to try more things! read more
Delicious Asian fusion pasta! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes. Cafe ambiance with an extensive menu. Quick and great service. I ordered the Mentaiko Cream Pasta and the Gamberry Rose Pasta. Both pastas were delicious and even looked similar, but the Gamberry Rose Pasta had this addicting spiciness to it that made the dish stand out more to me. I have low spice tolerance but the Gamberry Rose Pasta was worth every bite. Would definitely come back again! read more
It's hard not to notice a new restaurant in La Mirada, especially one that has a bit of an upscale vibe and Korean-Italian fusion--without the drive out to Buena Park. After wondering about this place for a few months, we finally came for a Saturday brunch and were not disappointed. The wait was about 30 mins when we came around 12, but we put down our name and number on a waitlist and came back when we got the call. In short, prices are fair for the quality of food, but mileage will vary depending on what you order. Based on this visit I'd pass on coffee and teas. The pasta, however, is worth trying! The breakdown: Service (3/5): Service was standard. When I asked about their lattes, the waitress explained the difference between the cream and custard latte. Waitresses came by a few times to ask how everything was during our meal. I liked that they provided a cup of water and plastic eating utensils for the baby just in case. Drinks (2/5): We ordered the peach iced tea and the custard latte. The peach tea tasted okay, but it was very, very overpriced for a half cup of ice with a Twinings English teabag and some peach syrup (see my photo). The custard top on my latte was tasty, but the coffee itself was very, very weak...if I had to describe it, it was like someone mixed a sachet of instant latte with too much water (it was NOT good at all). Mixing the custard into it helped, but for value and quality, I think we'd pass on their drinks next time and just stick to food. Food (overall 4/5): We ordered the Mentaiko Pasta and the Gamberry Rose Pasta, two creamy dishes I had been eyeing on the menu to try for some time. The linguine pasta was cooked to perfection, a nice and chewy al dente. The buttery baguette slices that came with the two dishes complimented them well and were perfect for dipping in the sauce. However, I wouldn't recommend doing two creamy pastas at once, as they ended up being too heavy for us...maybe a salad/appetizer and pasta would be a better combo to share in my opinion. Further breakdown of the pastas below: * Mentaiko Pasta (3.5/5): This dish was rich and creamy, and came in a bed of sauce that was just enough to coat each strand of pasta without overdoing it. It was as tasty as it looked, and you could see the mentaiko (cod roe) thoroughly mixed into the creamy sauce. I liked that it had bits of green onion in it too to give more texture, but if I were being honest, this dish was just okay. It tasted like an alfredo linguine with a slight seafood taste, but nothing really "wow" about it. * Gamberry Rose Pasta (5/5): We LOVED this pasta dish, and my husband and I would come back alone for this one. It was rich, savory and slightly sweet, with bits of onion swimming throughout the creamy sauce. It had several pieces of shrimp in it that also went well with the pasta. The spicy kick was really nice for us, but those of you who can't handle Buldak chicken ramen may want to have an extra glass of water nearby; the spice level on this dish is maybe just a level or two below it. Considering we are just about 5 minutes away and that Gamberry rose pasta was absolutely lovely, we will probably be back. Their drinks were a total miss for us, but some of their other dishes look pretty good and may be worth a shot. It's a nice restaurant and the freshness in their food shows, so that may be enough justification for the price for some folks, but maybe not all. Personally, I'd pass on the drinks at this establishment but the food is worth a shot. read more

Been here before but didn't have a chance to write a review. The food and drinks here are always consistent. Their toast is not greasy, but light and fulfilling at the same time. And their fresh tomato mini salad Oohh it was so good to eat it alone or dip the bread and it with eat. While their pasta is creamy yet not so heavy. . Quite a balance dishes from both orders. Will come back to try out many more of their dishes. read more
What I ordered: Gamberry Rose Pasta ($22) Steak Cream Pasta ($26) Food: Gamberry Rose Pasta was the star of the show tonight. It was a seafood pasta with shrimp and masago using a Spicy Rose Cream sauce base. Each slurp of noodle was packed with flavor from the seafood and cream, the masago created a fun sensation with each bite. One note I would make is to have all of the shrimp come skinned, it was difficult to pull the shrimp apart with my hands, especially in a more fancy environment. The Steak Cream pasta was great as well, a solid choice if you like cream pastas. Service: The servers were great, very friendly and quick. We also received complimentary ice cream as it was Valentine's Day. Making a reservation was simple as well. Ambiance: It is a nice Italian Korean fusion restaurant, but it also incorporates a full cafe. Everything was clean and well-organized. I would definitely come back! read more
Something is really something .. lol I was impressed with the presentation of the beef tataki salad from yelp photos. Originally, I wanted to dine in, but my plans changed. I was hesitant to order togo because I didn't think the presentation would be as good. I was planning on ordering just the choux cream latte, but after seeing the yelp discount, I decided to just try the beef salad lol I m glad I did because the togo presentation looked just as good. The beef was tender and juicy. The slices were a bit thin. It requires a bit more flavor, IMO. The salad was a bit oily. Prob too much olive oil dressing...I dunno. Overall, it was good. Portion size was not bad for $25. The choux cream latte was good. The cream somewhat tasted like vanilla bean. It was creamy and not too sweet. The coffee itself was on the strong bitter side. I do prefer the coffee to be a bit sweeter. I will ask for more simple syrup or sugar next visit. Will return when in the area. read more

From brunch to dinner, their menu has it all--pasta, salads, rice, toast, and more. They currently have a sale for their alcohol drinks, soju and makgeolli for only $6.99! Plus, their cocktails are great too--try the Screwkiss, it has a popsicle inside! I had the French toast and loved it! It's so soft and it came with a side of cream. The seafood cream pasta was another favorite of mine, plus I loved how it came with a lot of seafood. Our server was Gina and she was super helpful and nice! The ambiance is cute and we sat near a wall that was great for Instagram pics. read more

Instagram led us here. Looks like a cafe but it's more than a cafe. They offer decent quality food served by friendly staff. Love the bulgogi fried rice, the seafood pilaf is good but quite garlicky, the truffle fries is crunchy but didn't taste the truffle. Decent place, clean, and modern. read more

The interior was very simple and homey. We came on a Sunday around 10-11 am, so it was not too busy yet. We were sat down quickly and service was pretty quick. The menu had a variety of options to choose from ranging from brunch food to more filling options. We ordered the burrata salad, the steak cream pasta, and the truffle fries. The burrata salad was as a nice dish to start out with and the flavor was as expected. The steak cream pasta was also a solid dish. The cream pasta part was delicious with a nice creamy and cheese flavor, but the steak was well done and a little tough. The server did not ask us how we wanted the steak so I am not sure if it was possible to change it to a medium rare. The truffle fries were disappointing as there was not much truffle flavor, or any flavoring at all. The dip that came with it was nicely creamy with some kick, but I wish the fries themselves had more flavor. Finally we tried the screw kiss, which was a great alcoholic beverage to drink. You can adjust how sweet you want the drink by leaving the popsicle in as long as you want, so it was great for people who want their alcohol either stronger or lighter. Will definitely try to return again to try their other food options! read more

Found this place on a whim and i'm so glad. they have the best coffee and their food was amazing!!! def try it out. it's located in the same plaza as the super market and parking was easy to find even during peak hours. i got the vanilla latte and it was perfectly medium roasted and creamy. the carbonara was heavenly and the customer service was attentive without being suffocating. the cafe inside is simple and aesthetically pleasing with details that show they do care about their customers. read more
A cute and minimalistic Korean fusion cafe and restaurant serving delicious pastas, breakfast plates, salads and shared entrees. The drinks and desserts are delicious - and the coffee quality is top tier! Recommend sharing the dishes as the portions are generous. Gamberry cream pasta - super creamy, lots of shrimp, and loaded with roe. It's got a spicy kick! Beef tataki salad - the beef was a little tough, but the salad was a good light balance to the creamier pasta dish. Baristas and servers were friendly and accommodating, and it's a quiet and inviting environment! read more
A new local cafe / food spot. Parking is plenty outside in a outdoor lot. Inside has about 6-7 tables good for big groups or dates. You can either sit on a table for dine in or order at the cashier for take out drinks. Today I was in for a weekend lunch, not many people were there except a really loud group of 8 people with 3 kids. The experience was definitely ruined by kids running around (see video) and people from that group just standing in front of our table (see picture). The vibe is off. Judging by the food, this place is catered to the younger generation -- pastas and salads. I had no complaints about the food. Pasta was nicely salted and the meat on the salad was not tough. Not sure if I'll be back. Try it out for yourself. read more
Discovered this place via an IG foodie vlogger and thought to try since it's nearby. First off, plenty of parking available. The place gives a casual vibe, we waited to be seated and I asked for a menu to look while waiting but we got seated shortly. Yet, the menu never came, I had to request at the counter. A few minutes in from when we got the menu, we were already asked for our order. Felt rushed given how late we got the menu in from the time we were seated Kind of disappointed which explains me giving 4 stars. We were then asked if we wanted iced or hot water afterwards. Finally got to pick the items we want and ordered. Tried the following items: 1. Bulgogi Fried Rice: the bulgogi flavor is a bit underwhelming. I like that they have a side salad that came with it though. Overall, it taste good, portion size is fair. 2. Bulgogi Quesadilla: love every bite! Cheesy, and flavorful. Portion size is fair. 3. Side of Fries: moderate portion size, tastes great! Crunchy and seasoned well, not too salty. Comes with a dipping sauce reminds me of spicy mayo that compliments the taste of the fries altogether. Great combo! 3. Custard Cream Latte: formerly known as choux latte, love the hint of custard cream yet gives room for the coffee flavor to lead the role which is what I always look for when it comes to flavored coffee. If you want your coffee on the sweeter side, this isn't for you. 4. Dolce Latte: a bit on the milky flavor, coffee is lost in it. But overall tastes good, not too sweet as well. We were given a 10% discount for our wait time which I'm grateful for but I didn't think it was necessary. Because food overall is delicious! But looking forward to trying their pasta and steak pilaf on my next visit! read more
