I LOVE the dutch coco flavor! I am not a big fan of sweet stuff, so the little hint of sweetness is just perfect for me.

My sister was cold and really didn't want to have to sit outdoors so we almost opted for to go food, but ultimately chose to dine anyways, and I'm so glad we did. I'll start by saying EVERYTHING was incredible. From the food down to the service we received. All of the staff we interacted with during our time there were very kind and attentive. For starters, when we arrived, I told our waitress we had a dog and she directed us to a table on their "indoor patio ", so we we're basically sat indoors, which was really nice. We weren't cold at all, and had we been, it looked like they had overhead heaters! We ordered their bread service, the warm trout dip, truffle fries, steak & frites, the burger, mussels/clams, the chocolate tart and creme brûlée. It was all delicious. While eating our appetizers, our poor pup got sick and threw up under the table :( we tried to discreetly clean it and felt really embarrassed. Entrées came out a few minutes later, and while eating our entrées, it happened a second time. At that point, we were ready to ask for the food to go, because we were feeling so thoroughly embarrassed. As I started cleaning the vomit a second time, our kind waitress came over and told me she would take care of it. I apologized repeatedly, and we felt sooo bad. She was so kind, and gracious towards us, telling us it was okay. I never got her name, but I wanted to let her know just how much we really appreciated her assistance and for not making us feel worse about what had happened. The way she handled the situation, was the epitome of dog friendly service. I'm not sure why our pup was so sick at the restaurant. My guess is he may have swallowed some water while playing at the beach. I just really wanted to express my gratitude for you all allowing us to enjoy a nice meal and continuously treating us kindly and respectfully after our poor boy got sick in your restaurant. Thank you again! If you're looking for a restaurant with delicious food, great ambiance and even better service, THIS IS IT

(Separate business) CONs: Prices: As should be expected, You pay a lot for the convenience. Prices of everything are at least double what you would pay at a grocery store. For example: a pint of Ben and Jerrys ice cream costs almost $13 HOURS: I am an early riser and would go there more often if they were open earlier Currently, They do not open until 7:30am.

There place was packed but luckily we were able to find a high table for our party of 6. The view of the marina is nice and wish we found seating outside on their back patio for it. But we were a larger group and most of the seating out back were for parties of 2-4. You order your food first at the counter and then find your seat. Your orders will be delivered to your table. The menu is limited but everything we ordered was tasty. It was the weekend so it was busy and our food took awhile. Really liked the fried chicken sandwich and their truffle fries. The rotisserie chicken plate was big enough for two.

It's located right on the waterfront and is easy to find. There is free car and bike parking next to the building, Inside it is a counter service restaurant with a large open air but covered indoor dining area along with an outdoor area near the water too. I ordered the 1/2 rotisserie chicken plate that came with potatoes and salad for $20.50. After getting my self serve drink, I decided to sit outside in the shade and the food arrived less than 15 minutes later. Not only was it an attractive meal, it tasted pretty good too! Actually, I was surprised it was so good. The 1/2 bird was nice sized and tasty (4). The Yukon gold potatoes and wild arugula were excellent tasting with a lot of flavor! Some salsa verde was added to use for the chicken for dipping purposes. I enjoyed this meal and for California pricing it was a deal. I like the casual vibe of The Joinery and would recommend it to anyone looking for a casual and affordable meal while in town. Getting the free drink for renting a Blazing Saddles bike saved a few dollars too!

After reading some reviews here I knew it was a small place, so I was pleasantly surprised I could get a reservation during our trip to Sausalito. My husband and I had recently enjoyed some caviar for the first time but we are no experts, and I was a little worried that he might not get enough to eat. Turns out we both left perfectly satisfied. The place is tiny but so elegant. The bar is right in front of the kitchen that is sparkling clean and the chef prepares everything right there. There is a little high top table too and there was a couple there when we arrived, but afterward it was just us and we felt like royalty treated to our private dinner. We aren't caviar experts by any means but Yo did a great job explaining the different caviar flights including where it comes from - turns out the white sturgeon is farmed in the Sacramento Delta. We chose the Menage a Trois white sturgeon flight and it was so elegant. Three kinds of caviar plus all these homemade breads and crackers to enjoy it with. Every bite was amazing and I think we only left a couple of chives. Afterward we picked a couple of other dishes - the Chawanamushi and the Dungeness crab ravioli. Both were exquisite- in flavor and presentation. For dessert we had the sweet potato - Yo described it as a ganache - which I couldn't really picture but it was a very accurate description. It came with asian pear and was just the perfect finish to our meal. I had a couple glasses of French bubbly with my meal - normally I can't do more than one glass of champagne but it was crisp and yummy and paired well with everything we ate. When we were finished we got our check in a cute sturgeon pulp science fiction book. It was the final thoughtful detail to a wonderful evening. Chef Lance is a real artist and he really thinks through the ingredients and the flavors. Everything was so delicious and creative. I hope we get to come back again someday.
