    Dipsea Decadence Milkshake
    Allie G.

My friends and I stopped into Mill Valley Swirl after hiking Mount Tamalpais all day, and it was just what we needed. It was a late Sunday afternoon and the place wasn't too busy - just one family and us. They offer both ice cream and self-serve frozen yogurt, but all three of us were in the mood for milkshakes. I initially was going to order the S'mores flavor, but the girl at the counter advised that the milkshake would be hard to drink with all the marshmallow and graham crackers mixed in. I went with the Berry Cheesecake instead, but after trying a taste of the S'mores, I did have some regret. It was still tasty though - just a bit more berry than cheesecake. My friends ordered a Cookies & Cream Milkshake and Dipsea Decadence Milkshake - both delicious. Parking right in front of the store was easy and service was pretty fast. The two girls working appeared to be high school students and they were sweet and helpful. Would return!

Best fro yo and ice cream shop in Marin. Frozen yogurt is all so creamy and amazing, and the seasonal flavors are always fun. Been coming here for years and the staff are always nice, and the frozen yogurt always hits the spot. Widest variety of toppings for any frozen yogurt shop, and everything is so fresh. Such cute interior design too and such a welcoming, cute vibe. 10/10 recommend this place and it's definitely a must stop by if you are in the area. Oh, and you have to try the marshmallow sauce on top it's SO GOOD.

No vacation (or evening) is complete without ice cream! Walking back from dinner we saw Swirl and stopped in. There were scooped ice cream and frozen yogurt choices. We chose the ice cream. But, there were some interesting yogurt flavors! The young men serving us were friendly and helpful. A sweet end to a good day!

The shop is pretty tiny, located next to a donut shop near the netrance of a medium sized open plan shopping center. Came in there and the worker offered us whatever samples we wanted and we immediately noticed the really interesting but unusual flavors that they had. Of the classic type flavors, we really liked the brown sugar vanilla and the breakfast cereal one. The cherry special drink and the grapfruit one also tasted quite nice. But the ones that stood out the most were the thom ka and the chaat masala ones. while the chaat masala didnt end up having that distinct tanginess you might expect, the thom ka ice cream was mind blowing. It tasted exactly like having the soup but in a cool and refreshingly creamy dessert form. My mind couldn't really process it other than the fact that it was delicious. We ended up opting to pair the thom ka and the brown sugar vanilla to have a "normal" flavor to offset the unusualness of having a thai soup ice cream. We honestly could not get enough of it - it easily was one of the best ice cream scoops we had ever had and it being a plant based ice cream was insanely impressive. Frankie & Jo's will definitely be a place we will be returning to especially as the new seasonal flavors roll out so we can see what other concoctions they might be able to try and conquer.

Also there was no description of the flavors, for example, they could each say "coconut based ice cream with fudge and chocolate chips and cinnamon" or whatever but there was none. You grab your own silverware and they also have hot sauce out for anyone to take. There are quite a lot of choices, so it was hard to choose just one. I ordered the ham & cheese crepe ($13) and my friend ordered the apple cinnamon & brown butter crepe ($8). We waited about 8-10 minutes, and both were really delicious! The ham & cheese was warm, savory, and super yummy for a morning breakfast meal. The apple cinnamon & brown butter crepe is a perfect choice for any sweet tooth lovers. Buckeye Roadhouse has such a classic, cozy vibe that immediately feels special--you can tell it's a place people come back to. First things first: make a reservation. This place is popular for a reason. The food absolutely did not disappoint. I ordered the chicken dish, and it was hands-down my favorite--perfectly cooked, flavorful, and comforting in the best way. The tuna tataki was another standout: fresh, beautifully presented, and light but satisfying. Every plate that hit the table felt thoughtful and well-executed. And then... the s'more pie. Wow. Easily one of the best desserts I've had in a long time and the perfect way to end the meal--rich, nostalgic, and totally indulgent without being overwhelming. Between the atmosphere, the service, and how solid every dish was, this place instantly went on my "come back soon" list. Already planning to return for a date night because it just has that romantic, timeless feel. Highly recommend if you're looking for great food, a polished experience, and a spot that feels like a treat every time.

You can order ahead, but often the two people behind the counter are so overwhelmed with orders and long lines, that just getting their attention to grab your completed pizza is hard... they just don't look up while racing around the very small space. It's fun to watch them, like a well rehearsed choreographed dance. But the frenetic energy is not so fun. On my first visit to this location I consumed my entire pizza in one sitting. On this visit, two of us each brought home half of our pizzas. The next morning I woke up to "these pizzas are great for breakfast too!". As I walked back out to the car following my visit to apizza I nodded at the salad place one door down saying "our meal would've cost twice as much there" and it would have. Is it "fast food"? Yes, but fast food that's in a different league from most. Good stuff this place is offering.
