    Miss D.

I've put off writing this review since June mostly because I'm selfish and I didn't want this delicious secret to get out. But then I knew how wrong it was to hide something so good. I was searching social media for a mobile cold sweet treat vendor to come out to our office. Man! Wherrrrre has this been all of my life!?! Goodness, you are doing yourself a huge disservice if you've not indulged. We called him up, scheduled the set up date and time, etc. He arrived with his gear and within no time was up and running ready for his first customer. We had about 50-60 employees come through that day. He was an awesome one man operation! We had six flavors to choose from and lemme tell ya, it was not easy and you'll wanna go back for seconds, and sneak thirds but your secret is safe with him. Get the spicy!! Oh mah gahhh. I gotta get myself to a street market so I can get me some more Lobos Ice Cream!

Lobos Ice Cream is notorious for having the BEST Mangonada in the Bay Area and this picture proves it. It's officially fire.

Notoriously known for their Mangonada, their signature Lobonada: Mango +Watermelon +Tajin +Chamoy + Lime is just as good! They have plenty of delicious flavors to choose from like Strawberry, Chocolate and Avocado ice cream!

So creamy! Perfect consistency. Refreshing. Avocado flavor? Yes please. I tried Lobo's at Avocado Con in the SoMa StrEat food park. He really put on a show and was so happy while serving us ice cream. I want to have as much passion as that man! He made us an avocadonada (a mangonada with avocado ice cream on top)! If I see Lobo's again, I will for sure buy myself a nice, fresh, hand-crafted scoop of ice cream. It's some of the best ice cream I've had.

I tried the blackout and miso peanut butter, they melted in my mouth. Met the young woman who baked them and she was so friendly. If are you in the market of the most amazing cookie to walk this planet I HIGHLY advise you to shop here. I am such a cookie eater and am so picky but these I still daydream about!!!!! I'm so sad I live in LA and I tried to order them on Best Egg but they don't deliver to me. Please please ship your cookies or make a shop closer to LA, I would be your #1 customer. 10000000000/10 recommend.

We were in the Bay Area, and dessert is always an option! After a quick yelp search, I discovered doughpamine. What I did not know, is that they don't have a storefront! And the address listed on YELP doesn't even go to the kitchen. It's kind of weird. The address actually corresponds with an ethnic market, which by the way, I did some shopping and and found some really cool things, but I digress. I immediately was in search of what is supposed to be fabulous Cookies. After a couple of stops at some of the local grocery stores, I struck Gold, and was able to purchase three different flavors!! I love the fact that it's frozen premade cookie dough. That means that you can bake as many or as few as you would like. I will say, the flavors are unique, and the price point is high. But you definitely get what you pay for. Each bag runs about $17 and there's six large pre-shaped cookie rounds in each bag. Rhapsody Road is my favorite! I just wish that the cookies had more marshmallow bits. I will say with all the flavors that I find almond to be a little bit off pudding and while I like unique flavors, well, it works with the Road to some extent, I really would like to see the almond removed. Miso peanut butter: I was super excited about this because I absolutely love peanut butter, and I thought the miso would add a very unique taste profile. This is my least favorite out of three packages that I purchased, and again it has almond in it and some other flavors that frankly just don't work. I wanted more of a peanut butter flavor And for some reason the miso and peanut butter just did not blend the way that I needed it for it too. I would take a pass on this next time. Blueberry corn: OK this was the Darkhorse for me, and I really did not think that I was going to like this, but in fact, I loved it! It's like a combination of a really good cornmeal muffin with blueberries in it but in cookie form. I absolutely would've loved more blueberries but the flavor combo is absolutely delicious. Why am I raving about frozen cookie dough?! I really wish that Jessica Nolan, the owner and creator had a storefront. Why? Because who doesn't want a freshly made warm cookie?! Right? But she did the next best thing and really, sometimes it's a late night craving and now it can be done at home. Simple and easy to follow baking instructions, and one is really filling, but you'll definitely want a second one! The baked cookies were definitely bigger than what I expected, and it made it all worth it! Jessica is a fine, dining pastry chef by trade, a Michelin restaurant, inspector, and a Food Network champion! She knows what she's doing. What's great about this is that you don't need to live in the Bay Area to grab these! Jessica has a website and ships everywhere. I've already placed an order. I love the fact that the prices are the same online as they are in the grocery store. This has that unique Yum factor that we all look for in that extraordinary cookie.

Super nice improvement on not having all the high school kids…read morecrowd the place up but I notice that they open pretty late in the afternoon now because when I come through the area (usually around 12:30pm) they are still closed which is a bummer to not get ice cream during my lunch break. I get it that we're in the winter cold months now, but I still like to eat ice cream when it's cold, doesn't matter. I have different issues with this place now though. Every time I go to Bliss now and want something they are usually out of it. Here's what I mean ... about 3 weeks ago I wanted a frozen banana which I've gotten before, they were out. I came back the next day because I still had a hankering for the frozen banana, they were still out. I went back the next week, they still haven't made any. I asked the girl working there and she told me they haven't had any frozen bananas in stock for a long while. Then why is it on the menu board?! And I see the label for it in the freezer display too. Geez, take it off the menu if you guys don't want to make any frozen bananas. WTH? Don't even ask for a banana split. Another time I came in wanting to buy a couple of their made-to-order ice cream sandwiches (because they are actually really good) to bring to my nieces. The same girl behind the counter who works during the day said they were out of cookies. I came back yesterday, still no cookies to make the ice cream sandwiches. Like seriously?! Do we need to take these off the menu board too? I came in last week wanting the Dole pineapple soft serve they sell. It was so good over the summer and pineapple sounded so good at that time. What do you mean there isn't any? I even asked about that yesterday as well. When will they have it back in the machine? The girl behind the counter said she didn't know when. Again, take it off the menu guys. Yeah, I'm disappointed they don't keep everything on their menu in stock. Why even bother keeping these items on their menu board? Oh, and yesterday I opted for the berry sorbet. The poor girl couldn't crack the dang thing. It was frozen SOLID. They need to retire that flavor then or just throw it out. You need a jack hammer to break that thing apart. I walked away not getting anything. No frozen bananas, no soft serve of any kind, no cookies to make ice cream sandwiches. And no, I don't want to pay $25 for an ice cream pie. Here's a kicker ... there's a plaque hanging in the front window that suggests they sell hot cocoa or mochas, but it's NOT on their menu board at all. LOL!!! I had to ask how much it was because I was curious. If you come here just expect straight up ice cream that's displayed in their freezer because that's all they sell. And why are there so many non-dairy flavors? A bit weird, but I guess that might be a plus? Maybe the next thing I'll crave will be a milkshake and they won't have the milk to make it with. Don't even bother looking at the menu board. They don't have it. I might just have to go back to La Michoacana on Grant. They have everything on their menu. Always.

She was really friendly and really nice. Very helpful with information and I said I'll see you in a little bit to get some ice cream. I went down there and they had a excellent variety of flavors. I tasted several flavors and landed on strawberry. I was in the mood for it. OK that was my second choice actually I'm gonna be honest there was a mint chocolate chip that they just ran out of, but they had enough to give me a little taste sample and OMG when they get more in stock, I'm gonna go get some.
