Good food, reasonable prices. This is one of our go-to places for a casual meal out when we don't feel like cooking. The food is consistently good. The hot sauce in particular reminds me of the stuff I grew up with at my favorite hometown restaurant. The space is always clean and bright. Even when crowded it's not terribly noisy. And the price is right. They dish out fairly large portions for less than you would pay at a lot of similar places. My only real complaint is that they don't put nutrition information on the website. This someburros is the closest location to my work and I've picked up from them many times. Someburros is an awesome company who does a lot for the community, so I really appreciate that. Their food is tasty, especially their green chili burro served fundido style, omg. I don't ever do reviews. But this is so bad I had to. I went through the drive-through and ordered two beef enchiladas meal. Paid extra for the beef. Got back to work to eat it. There was no beef. It was all cheese. The corn tortillas they used for enchiladas were hard on the edges. the food does not taste good at all. I've had a lot of enchiladas. Love this place! Fresh and authentic! The horchata is always fresh and light with just the right amount of cinnamon. We enjoy that chips always come before the food, too! This go round I ordered the diablo scramble and about halfway through I realized they forgot the chorizo! Whenever I'm home, this is my to go to place!! The food is always fresh and hot and my order is always right! This time I ordered the Rod Burro...my go to is usually the Pollo Fundido, but I wanted a taste of everything! The Rod Burro is a combination of chorizo, green Chili, and red chili! It was delicious! When you order for dine in they give you chips and salsa! There's also daily specials and weekly events or specials. Been going to this location for years, but the quality has definitely dropped off. Guessing the original owners sold out or the children have taken over. Seems like who ever has decide quality is over quality when it comes to stores. Leaving the original store to struggle, time to get food takes so long that you might as well go to more traditional restaurant. When you do get the food it is usually good, but definitely tell there has been changes in the quality. The store ambiance is nice thankfully because you will be waiting. My favorite thing to do is look at the mural on the north wall and wish ponchos was still in az. looks like might need to make a trip to texas just to go to the last ponchos. read more

We have been regulars at Someburros (Baseline) for as long as they have been open. However, we have noticed some issues with quality lately. Recently ordered pollo fundido and a side of the jalapeno cream cheese. Returned it because I thought they gave me sour cream. They replaced it-with the same thing-it had no flavor and was runny. The pollo fundido tasted bland. Hope they fix it-we love going there but can't continue if quality gets worse. read more

I love the food and coming to this location, but when I online order I leave a tip, and then when I pick the food up I get handed another receipt to sign that has another tip option to fill out. Yesterday we went to Someburros for take-out, because Cinco de Mayo made us hungry for Mexican food and a margarita. They were extremely busy, and were still friendly, helpful, and fast! The line to order moved quickly, and our food did not take as long as we expected it would. In addition, the food was hot and delicious! We ordered tamales, chips and guacamole, mini chimi combos (comes with beans and rice), classic margaritas, and churros. The food tasted incredibly good. Some of that might be because we were really hungry, but it was also just well made, well seasoned, and (chef's kiss) - mwah! I thought the margarita would be disappointing because it's made in a machine but it was lovely- not too sour, not too sweet. Just right. And their salsa is hands down the best. Wow, it's really been 7 years since I first reviewed Someburros! I'm still a big fan of the rod burro, but it's such a big meal that I usually only get it if I'm starving or sharing it with someone. Some of my current favorites are the cheese crisps with guacamole or with green chile, the veggie burro, the chicken and bean burro, and the tacos are still quite good. The salsa is still nicely hot and spicy, and the addition of carne asada, fish, and breakfast adds to their menu variety. While I appreciate that they're branching out with new foods, the fish tacos that I tried when they first introduced them to the menu were really not very appealing. They were overcooked, bland, and super oily. Hopefully they've perfected their recipe since then! The outdoors seating is nice when the weather is not too hot, and they don't mind if you bring your dog with you to sit outside. Sure it's not gourmet dining. But when you're hungry, craving a fast, filling meal for a reasonable price, Someburros is a good choice! read more

Came here to get a burrito with my boyfriend. He ordered the breakfast burrito and I the chicken burrito enchilada style. Unfortunately neither one of us enjoyed our food. The tortillas were sandy/doughy. The enchilada sauce on mine was sub par, almost tasted expired. It had only chicken inside and nothing else. His burrito was really plain, with no flavor. I thought this place would be good because I had it once in Scottsdale and I remember it being pretty good. Sadly won't be returning :( Also, we ordered a margarita and they completely forgot. Someburros is a Mexican restaurant with a clever name that has been a local staple in Tempe for over a decade. I wasn't too impressed with the food. I ordered the carne asada burro which was more refried beans than meat wrapped in a cold tortilla. A modest serving of chips is complimentary but they seemed stale and bland. They came with a squeeze bottle of salsa but no container in which to dispense so you have to squirt directly onto your chip. I was disappointed that sour cream wasn't complimentary. Even more disappointing is that it costs $1.50 which is kind of ridiculous. Prices otherwise are on the low end. An enchilada plate and burro totalled under $18. I will say the cheese crisp was simple and tasty. They also serve frozen margaritas. read more

I ordered a couple of drinks and 2 churros for me and son, and they were great. I will say that it was pretty hot inside. I don't think I could have tolerated to dine in with the temperature inside. I was so disappointed in my polo fundido. It wasn't hot throughout and the chicken had the taste of chicken on the verge of going had. The jalapeño cream sauce had no flavor!
