This place is a big ripoff. I ordered a bacon, egg and potato burrito. The price went up from $8 to $12. I got home to eat it and there was no bacon and no potatoes, just egg. The burrito was half the size it normally is even with the price increase. I used to come there all the time because it was a good price and a decent portion. I will never go buy anything there again. They must really be hard up to blatantly steal from their loyal customers. I warn everyone do not eat here. They will give you a tiny burrito and it wont even be what you ordered. Buyer beware!!!!!!

Great food stand that I have passed many times, but hadn't gone to until this day! The worker was super friendly and made some helpful recommendations. The menudo was clean, tasty and hearty! Everything is priced very reasonable and absolutely fresh and delicious. You won't leave hungry, the portions are super fair. Meat is cooked well, and the breakfast burritos were packed! Would definitely recommend. The stand does accept cash or card (with slight fee) and there are small, limited tables and seating if you didn't want to take it away.

They are friendly here, it's clean and easy to park and get out of. Salsa was brought out and the food came out quickly. My overall experience was good. It's not 5 stars because to me, the food needs a bit more seasoning and spice. It's perfect for someone that wants Hispanic food without the burn. I ordered a quesabirria, it was good, to me it was missing more seasoning. The tortilla was crispy and had the perfect amount of meat and cheese. I added red salsa to mine. Hot dogs were pretty tasty. They had everything I could want on it, I added the guacamole salsa and the green salsa. California burrito, the potatoes need garlic and a bit more salt. The meat could do with some more seasoning. It's cooked perfectly. To me it's lacking though. It's bland.

I love their bean dip and the green salsa. I had a wonderful pina colada also. Great place and one of my favorite Mexican restaurants.

Good food, friendly staff, quick & casual meals. Tacos the way Pancho Villa would want them.

We arrived for breakfast and the place was packed. Even so, we were seated within a few minutes. Menus were brought for us to peruse. For a starter we both had a large glass of cranberry juice. $3. Emphasis should be on the word large, as in most places you would get a small glass for the same price. Companion ordered the "Fresh Start", which is a big bowl of oatmeal which comes with cranberries, raisins, walnuts, brown sugar, and milk ($6). Companion was unable to finish it all. For myself, I had the Hawaiian omelet which had ham, bacon, pineapple, and mozzarella cheese. While I must admit I have never before had an omelet with these ingredients, it was delicious and big. I could not finish it all. The coffee was bottomless and the service was excellent. Unlike many other places that serve breakfast, we were made to feel truly at home, with friendly people all around. We will be going back again and again, possibly for lunch next time. This is a new favorite place to eat for us. Sanitation was good and food came out quickly. 5 stars.

She greeted me with a big smile and brought my drink right away. I ordered the Turkey Club, lightly toasted on white and crispy fries. I really enjoyed my lunch and will definitely be back. On my way out I noticed they have a gift shop with a huge selection of cute stuff. We had to wait a bit to get seated. I decided to try their biscuit and gravy with bacon and 2 eggs over easy. The bacon was kinda chewy with unrendered fat which was a turnoff. Even bigger disappointment was the biscuits and gravy. The gravy tasted so odd and off putting and the biscuits were huge but very dry and fell apart. Had a bite of hubby's French toast and it was the worst I've ever had. If they weren't so busy I probably would have mentioned something to the server but really wasn't in the mood. Still love the theme of this restaurant but the food was a major letdown today. Service was not the greatest probably due to how busy it was.

Since 2016, this non-profit diner has been directly supporting homebound cancer patients through sponsored meals. The menu is deep, and the food is incredible! And honestly, I feel confident with all of their options. The place was packed and everyone looked satisfied. I ordered the chilaquiles which were a delightful offering of crispy tortilla chips covered in earthy red chili, topped with a velvety poached egg, on a bed of hearty pinto beans that had a hint of cumin, all which was drizzled with a rich crema and crumbled queso fresco. My dad had the Rueben and he said it was in his top-three he's ever had! Even during the Saturday brunch rush we were seated promptly, the kitchen was swift and our waitress was kindly attentive to our needs. We will definitely be adding this fine establishment to our short list, and can see why this is a community staple.

We finally decided to try the diner, and oh my goodness--this is no substandard food kitchen. This is top-notch food at reasonable prices and for a great cause. You can't go wrong! We arrived on a Sunday at their new location, which is super nice, VW bus and all. :) While relatively small, it is many times larger than their old location around the corner. You can sit inside at a table, at the bar, or at one of the few patio tables on a nice day. We sat inside for this first visit, and a friendly server took our order. We chose to order from the breakfast menu, and I ordered The Camper: Crispy double-dipped fried chicken thigh smothered in savory gravy and topped with cheese, three slices of Nueske's peppered bacon, and an over-easy egg, served on a housemade butter biscuit. My wife ordered the CSA Scramble: Farm-fresh veggies from Crooked Sky Farms CSA basket scrambled with three eggs, served with fruit, sliced tomato, and 9-grain toast. Needless to say, we were both impressed. The Camper was absolutely perfect. I would not change a thing. The gravy was just special, and there was so much food, I took some home. My wife's dish was fresh and perfect for what she was looking for. Do consider donating to this worthy cause. We chose to, and you can even donate right on your bill so that it goes right on your credit card if you so choose. But even if you just pay for your meal, you are helping out, which is so great about eating at this place. Do yourself a favor and stop in to see the friendly people at The Joy Bus Diner!

Just 2 minutes from the ALB airport, this spot hits exactly how you need it to hit when you're either coming off a flight or heading into one: easy, classic, no-frills comfort. I went with the corned beef hash + pancakes breakfast, and it delivered that old-school diner energy. The hash was hearty and filling, eggs cooked just right, and the pancakes? Soft, golden, and exactly what you expect--nothing fancy, just solid. But let's be clear... the real reason you come here is the pie. Village Inn doesn't play about their pies, and the banana cream pie is the headline act. Light, creamy, not overly sweet, topped with whipped cream and just enough texture to make every bite feel intentional. For under $20 a pie, it feels like one of those rare "still worth it" moments in today's food scene. Yes--it's a chain. But this location in Albuquerque shows up like it understands the assignment: quick service, consistent quality, and that nostalgic diner comfort that doesn't try too hard. DISCOVERY SCORE: * Food: * Service: * Value: * Must-Try Factor (Banana Cream Pie): Would I come back? For the pie alone? Absolutely. If you're near the airport and need something reliable with a sweet ending... this is it!
