The women in the store were perfectly nice and helpful. But this isn't about the store itself. I bought 2 bras for $147 and after 2 months the strap on one of them broke. I called customer service and because it was 15 days after their return period they said they wouldn't do anything but give me 40% off a new one. I was helped by Jules today and she was so wonderful! I walked in when she was helping another customer, though as soon as that customer was taken care of she quickly came to greet me. Jules brought multiple styles for me to try then troubleshooted the fit (my sizing has changed slightly a year or so postpartum). Once I was set on a specific style she found the colors I wanted. My first experience here was great several months ago, but my last two visits in the past month have been really subpar. The employees aren't helpful and often even rude. Today I told the employee I was ready to check out and then she checked someone out in front of me who came to the checkout counter after I did. Not sure if they had turnover in the employees or what, but I will not be shopping at this location anymore. The employee also gave me incorrect information. I asked about panty sizing and what it would be equivalent to in terms of women's pant/clothes sizing. She gave me a blank look in response to my question and eventually answered me and said that a small panty was equivalent to 2/4 in apparel size. Now that I'm looking at the Soma website, I see that a small panty is equivalent to size 4/6 in apparel size. It would greatly help their business if they employed knowledgeable and nice people. read more

I was in this location about a month ago and still can not stop thinking about what horrible customer service that I received. This was my first and last experience with Soma. I asked a young lady to be fitted. I am normally a D and she measured me at an A. I told her that I had not been in A for 20+ years but she told me that their sizing is different. I agreed to try the A and picked out some bras. She brought me totally different bras than what I picked out and then disappeared. I finally found someone that appeared to be a manager and she was just as unhelpful. She brought me the correct bras that I wanted to try but argued with me about sizes. She was in the dressing room with me and saw me try them on and insisted that I needed the smaller sizes even thought they were obviously too tight. I also explained that I was pregnant and would be growing. She seemed irritated with me and brought me some Cs which fit better but were still not comfortable. I finally gave up and left the dressing room to leave to go next door to Victoria's Secret. All of the staff was staring at me as I was leaving and I could tell that they had been talking about me. I headed to VS almost in tears but they made up for the experience. They fitted me perfectly and were very helpful! They helped me pick out 2 perfect bras and the most comfortable strapless that I have ever owned. I will never set foot in that Soma again.. read more

I tried this Soma store because I didn't have time to drive from Fort Worth to my normal lingerie shop in Dallas (shout out to The Maddox Shoppe). So glad I did & will return here for all of my future purchases of bras (intimate & sport), panties & sleepwear. Staff is very helpful (they can size you for bras in the dressing area) & know their products very well. I was suggested various options for what I was in search of & bought several after trying them on. Sizes are right on (nothing's unexpectedly bigger or smaller), & prices are a little less than what I normally pay. Parking is awesome - lots of spaces. read more

So where do I begin.... I came in to the store with an esthetic mind set for it was highly recommended to try the store I would leave without being disappointed.. unfortunately and sadly that was not my experience not sure who the employee was since they did not have a name tag on but as I asked to be fitted she said I would have to give a minute to get to Me since she was waiting on a dressing room... 5 min, 10 min, passed I've seen the dressing room open many times, 35 min later she said she was ready for me as she was fitting me, she told me I was two cups less than what I usually wear, I told her if she could recheck it and she gave me a blank looked me, with very much hesitation she did it, and she gave me the same reading I told her thank you as she left the dressing room totally ignored so I went out to the floor to see my options clearly the size was way to small, the employee that helped me was talking to another employee both employees kept looking towards my direction as they were whispering and rolling their eyes it was so awkward to know the possibility of them talking about me, I was not asked if I needed help as customers were coming in I notice the same treatment of not being greeted at the door, Employees answering the phone so rudely, placing calls on hold while they checked their cell phone to texts and show the other employees the texts needless to say I left the store so disappointed and I'm sure they didn't know they lost a customer. read more

This review is about a year overdue however necessary. I bought some items for my wife from here for a gift. One of the items was a bra with a clasp in the front which she wasn't very fond of. No problem, I had just bought it and still had the receipt. Well sure enough when We got there there was a problem. Even though the bra still had the tags on it and had obviously not been worn they would not return for cash or credit back to by card. They were only willing to give store credit, even with a receipt. Not good business. No problem, now my wife spends all our money at Victoria's Secret. Their loss. read more

I went to Soma on University to be fitted for a bra a couple of months ago, and was not fitted well. I had never been fitted before but trusted the associate at the time. I was constantly being interrupted by people knocking on the door to the dressing room hoping to rush me out. I spent $200 that day. After getting home I only wore one because it never felt right, it was not a secure fit, no matter how I tried to make it work. I called to ask what to do about it, and before the question was finished, the associate told me they would not refund the one I wore because they stand behind their fitting. They were wrong. I had no reason to call if they were a good fit. I can order from their catalog next time, or give my business to Victoria's Secret next door. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experience by a young lady who worked at soma when I went in to get fitted noted that it was my first experience with soma most of my friends rave about it so I decided to go in first the young lady approachability was not very welcoming I asked to get fitted and she fitted me two sizes to small I then asked if could get a bigger cup up but she rolled her eyes at me and said "our sizes are different from the stores you have been" so I gave her the benefit of a doubt but not once did she bring me a size bigger needless to say I felt very unwelcome I asked for her name and she responded "why would you want to know my name" and I responded well I would like to know so I can speak to your manager about my experience here and she said well she won't be in I asked her again for her name and she never responded back untill I heard one of the other employees Calle her Gaby not sure if that's her real name so I decided to leave and took my business next door to Victoria secret they fitted me just well and made me feel welcomed!! I encourage for your employee to be retrained in customer service cause it was just awful! read more
