I was immediately greeted by the hostess. I explained that it was my first time and she was kind enough to make some menu recommendations. Since it was early we were promptly seating. We took the stairs to our table upstairs. We were seated near a wall and the bar. I waiter promptly came over to greet us. I wanted to try a few things but the brunch menu was sort of limited. I opted for crispy Mac & cheese bites, french toast, and breakfast croissant sandwich. The mac & cheese bites were crispy but could have used a little more seasoning and a little more cheese filling. The French toast was 2 pieces of toast with maple syrup and fruit. I opted to leave the fruit off with the current health concerns with raw food. It would have been nice to have been offered a substitute but I wasn't so I paid $18 for 2 pieces of French toast. I feel like the French toast would have been a better choice if it was accompanied with choice of, chicken sausage or regular sausage and eggs. That would have made a more complete brunch. The French toast was ok but could have used a little more flavor (ie cinnamon, vanilla, etc). The syrup was a very good grade of maple syrup and tasted so good. I did add 2 eggs for $6. Lastly had the breakfast croissant sandwich with grits. The sandwich was good I did substitute the regular sausage for chicken sausage. The chicken sausage was delicious. I was very pleased with the grits they were so good. Overall, the portions are small especially for the price. The restaurant is in a prime location, right in the center of Disney Springs and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. I would like to return for lunch or dinner in the cooler months so I may dine on the second floor patio over looking Disney Springs.

Saturday night and what better place to have dinner than 60 vines!…read more Showed up around 6pm and sat at the bar. It was a first for us but will probably be our go to from here on out. The bar tenders were super attentive and the specific one who was serving us was on point. He was friendly - very attentive - even let my husband try a small sampling of their hand selected Blantons. My husband got the pork chop for dinner, which is his go to and like always it was perfectly cooked. He very rarely orders pork chops at any other restaurant that we dine at, but he always gets it here that tells you just how good it is. I stuck with my go to which is the creste de Gallo. The flavor in the dish is just so good and the portion size is perfect. Even though it's pasta, I never walk away feeling like I am completely stuffed and can't move - Unlike other pasta dishes I've had at other places.

The bartenders were also amazing--friendly, attentive, and on top of everything, which made the happy hour experience that much better. I had originally planned on doing Magical Dining, so I started with the Albondigas (Spanish meatballs). Unfortunately, they were a major disappointment. The texture was strangely rubbery, they lacked flavor, and they weren't served very hot. After a few bites, I honestly lost my appetite and decided not to continue with the rest of the Magical Dining meal. It's unfortunate because the restaurant itself has a beautiful, lively atmosphere, and the bar experience was excellent. I really wanted to enjoy dinner as much as I enjoyed the drinks and service. Overall, 3/5. I would definitely come back for happy hour, the Espresso Martinis and bartenders alone make that worthwhile but based on the food I tried, I wouldn't rush back for dinner.

I cannot say enough good things about this space and its owners. They are part of the push to create community in Apopka through offering engaging quality businesses and venues (these are the people behind the future Hall's on 5th food hall right on the same street!). I have been coming to Propagate since we started building our home and have really enjoyed seeing their business flourish over the past few years. They have a loyal customer in me and I cannot wait to see what's next. I digress, the service at The Shade House is stellar, the cocktails are creative, and the vibe is an extension of Propagates but with some added spice. You guys outdid yourselves on this one.

You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and it shows in how he takes care of his tables. We started with the hummus appetizer, which was fresh, smooth, and a great way to kick things off. For our meals, we had the steak flatbread and the steak frites--both were cooked well and full of flavor, with the steak coming out tender and perfectly done. Everything came out timely, and Kenny checked in at just the right moments to make sure we were good. We couldn't skip dessert, and the strawberry bread pudding with strawberry ice cream was the perfect ending--sweet, warm, and really satisfying without being too heavy. What really set the vibe, though, was the music. Kenny's 90s R&B playlist gave the whole place a relaxed, nostalgic feel. We ended up staying for hours just enjoying the food, the music, and the overall ambiance. Definitely one of those experiences where the service takes everything to the next level. We'll absolutely be back.

I really liked that they had happy hour and that it was offered to us throughout our time there. Our server was attentive and made sure that every course we received was a good one. The food was okay overall. I tried to get a little bit of everything with my Magical Dining order. I do wish the tofu had a little bit more salt to it. It was seasoned well, but it was missing that actual salty taste, although that could just be my personal preference. The salmon, though, was seasoned to perfection! I will always remember that salmon because it was really good and flavorful and did not have that fishy, seawater taste, if that makes sense. All in all, I'll definitely be back to try some of the other items on the menu. I really liked the variety of options they had, and I also liked the area itself. I could definitely see this being a place I come back to with the kids as well as for a date night in the future.

There is plenty of seating both indoors and out. Make sure to order the pretzel with beer cheese--it is amazing, and they give you a perfect cheese-to-pretzel ratio (we actually had cheese left over!). While wine tastings are a bit pricey at $3-$4 for a few sips, their selection is fantastic, and I thoroughly enjoyed every single one I tried. They also sell the bottles retail, with some priced around $30. If you prefer beer, they have an amazing selection, including some house-made brews. You have to try their Pilsner, it is easily the best I've ever had, featuring a very unique orange and spice flavor profile. Just keep in mind that they close at 5:00 PM on Fridays, so it's definitely a brunch type of spot rather than a nightlife destination. They also have a great event space upstairs!
