I had never done floatation therapy until today and will definitely return for more treatments. I was highly stressed upon arrival but after the infrared sauna then then the floatation therapy, I was totally relaxed as were my friends. This is such a find in NYC. I've only tried the float therapy here so far. The float rooms are located in the bottom floor down this very steep staircase, but inside it is nearly completely soundproof (or as soundproof as one can get in the middle of Midtown...). The experience is very relaxing, as you get a huge private room to shower and then float in. The tubs are also really big so you don't feel claustrophobic. I appreciate the amenities as well, like lotion and little packets of Vaseline to cover up cuts. You get plenty of time to shower before and after your appointment so you do not feel rushed at all. Staff is very knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. They do not try to upsell you on stuff and kind of just leave you to do your own thing, which I really appreciate.

I deal with neck pain that would sometimes force out of bed at 3am and I would have to sleep sitting up to make the pain go away. Ever since I started coming to this facility, I have not had that problem any more. I am currently still rehabilitating my neck but the progress has been excellent! I can sleep until it's time to go to work. That's something I won't take for granted anymore. The staff are brilliant and fantastic! Rose and Ziba work at the front desk and are sincere, sweet and extremely helpful. They make sure you're informed of everything you need to know and are on top of your appointments. Rose also steps in to help you with exercises when needed. Very knowledgeable and reliable. Venki, is the PT. He does an excellent job communicating in the sense of seeing where you are. He'll always ask if you feel okay from stretches to make sure there is no discomfort. I really like that we have conversations on the possible triggers of the neck pain and always proposes solutions. Dr. Andrew, provides the chiropractic care of the therapy. Filled with personality. Makes you laugh while giving me major insight into my injury. Never rushes you, encourages questions and makes sure you leave satisfied. I enjoy the fact that he helps me to understand my condition better than the other doctors I have been with. He educates me on that. I truly appreciate that! Finally, Glenn works with me on training. He gives me exercises to make my neck and the muscles around my neck stronger. Very insightful and knowledgeable. He explains the purpose of the exercises while pointing out what each muscle group does while I perform them. If I have difficulty understanding something, he'll explain it to me in a different way. Overall, I find the entire staff to be compassionate, attentive, professional, intelligent and committed! From the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out. They care about helping people get better. You'll see it from how you are greeted on your first visit. I want…read moreto say that it was 20-24 credits, so quite a lot, but it was a very comfortable, high end cryo experience (and I've gone at several other facilities regularly in Northern NJ as a point of reference). They also have packages to buy, so if you don't have ClassPass-don't worry! They have at least 3-4 individual changing rooms (like you would in a spa-they have benches and robes and socks in the room and mirrors for when you get dressed again). The room with the chamber is nice-clean, aesthetically pleasing and they stay in there with you to monitor (if it gets to be to cold, etc). I really like that they played music during my session-it helped to pass the time. If cryo is what you're looking for in the Morristown area, this is the place to do it.

I was expecting teeth chattering cold, but received a rather pleasant euphoria. It started with a sensation on the lower back, at 2 minutes 30 seconds a slight tightness of the muscles just above the knees and across ones midsection. 3 minutes seems like forever, then when it's over so quickly. My first Cryotherapy was to test the effectiveness on my Peripheral Neuropathy. Because you wear long socks and gloves it may have negated the benefits of that. Will try local in a couple of weeks for my PN in my feet. Now my arthritis in my hips, and weakness in my left leg, this was a complete surprise. I could easily climb stairs and getting on my bicycle pain free. Both hips are shot, but honestly they felt better. Waiting to see how long it lasts, going on about 11 hours. It may only last a day or so, but that is an accomplishment compared to using steroids that do more harm overall.
