Came to Cryo Energy because there was a Groupon for Fraxel (but they will price match) and normally I wouldn't go or trust a cryo place for any facials but I thought why not, it's cheaper here and it turned out to be a pleasant experience! I went in and had to wait a little since she was finishing up with another client but when it was my turn, she applied numbing cream onto my face and had me wait awhile for it to completely take effect. I have a pretty high tolerance for pain so along with the lidocaine, it didn't hurt much. Some parts of my face had thinner skin or was more sensitive to the heat of the laser but nothing I couldn't handle. Nisha has done it twice for me already and she warns me every time to avoid the sun and wear sunscreen (I think she applies it too if I remember correctly). You will look a little sunburned for the rest of the day but my redness went away by the next day. I also had tiny, little scabs on my face that I just waited for to fall of. A month later I was on vacation and was wondering how my face was looking so smooth and flawless and realized it was the Fraxel I had gotten. read more

The best experience turned into the worst experience. Within weeks after dual fraxel my face developed brown spots and I wear sun protection round the clock. One spot is a huge one right middle of my cheek. I normally am not the least bit tan before Memorial Day even but now I was. My whole face was red and sensitive to the sun additionally all summer and normally it isn't. Why didn't Amber tell me? I am praying during colder months I will look somewhat normally again. I am really praying. She made this procedure sound like all roses when I asked about any downfalls initally. She also didn't tell me to put on sun protection after but luckily I knew to. Again why didn't Amber prepare me? When she saw my face post procedure she said, "I never saw anyone with hyperpigmentation before!" Yah right. How did the word so easily roll off of her tongue? My friend at the cosmetology department at Walgreens said, also yah right, it's never happened to anyone else before, she said sarcastically. She and other cosmotologists also said dual fraxel may trigger other things like pigment issues after investigating further. Again why didn't Amber tell me!!!! This is horrifying. Now Amber wants to make right and do another procedure on me to spot treat the pronounced brown spot. My friend says not to do since with spot treatment you never know. One area will be light and another dark afterwards. Makes sense.. Amber's an idiot right? Why didn't she think of that? What a dummy. Is she trying to make my face worse? When I showed Amber before photos of me, she said the light was hitting my face a certain way so she doesn't know if I had those marks previously. Meanwhile she said to me pre-procedure that I have no pigment issues. She never took her own photos of me also? She said she doesn't remember what I looked like prior. Apparently she doesn't take any notes either! You are suppose to document these things before procedures with any new client especially! Additionally she doesn't know who I am because the credit card machine wasn't working. Ironically I never paid. I offered to write a check to bring the following week but because of pigment problems she is now not charging me. She does have my phone number because I keep calling her to complain. Otherwise she has no record of me in her system because I never signed anything. She only knows my first name a little (she mispronounces it) and phone number. She pushed me off until now October for follow up since she was on maternity leave. However, as of this week she is not returning my calls anymore. So it's come to me finally writing this review. I just don't recommend this place period. Things are strange on many levels and my experience was absolutely horrifying. read more

Had my first cryotherapy experience at Cryo Energy today. I asked my sister to join, since I was a bit apprehensive. My apprehension went away as soon as I walked in. Annette made our visit so welcoming and comfortable. She explained all the services, was patient with all our questions, all while still helping other clients. Her customer service is outstanding! Sam, the owner, helped schedule an appointment the day of. I don't know why I waited so long to try cryology. Went in with low back/sciatica discomfort and walked out feeling great! I will make this a part of my weekly recovery. After the full body session I sat in the NormaTec for 10 minutes. Sam saw I was enjoying myself and put on another 15 minutes on the house! What a place. Bought a groupon for this place but they'll honor same price when you go in. Customer service here is on point. It wasn't my first time with cryo. But they explained it well. And must say they have better equipment then other spots u went to. They even put me on a normatec (leg compression machine that's pretty damn awesome) afterwards. I found this place through Groupon and am so happy I did! It was my first go at this form of therapy and I felt pretty good following. It was fairly quick for many within certain time constraints, but effective all the same. The facility is clean and staff very kind and informative. Called to make appointment and was told walk-ins are fine. So walking in I did and saw a guy laying in a chair with compressions on his legs right next to the check in desk with other people waiting right next to him. Spoke to someone for a full body cryo and was brought into a room with a bed and some kind of unit for I don't know what and was asked to undress to my underwear and put on a rope and socks...no locker just left my stuff on a chair and was brought into a very small room for my treatment. There were 3 guys (I'm a female) in there with one guy getting treatment on his foot right in front of where I was supposed to enter into the unit. I absolutely didn't feel comfortable because there was nooooo privacy at all and let the technician know. She than started telling me all about a bio charger unit and her letting me try it for free and all kind of other things....blah blah blah blah OVERSELLING!! I'm sorry but I hated her doing that. I did not enjoy the biocharger at all...room with two folding chairs and a "being in the forest" wallpaper sitting in there for 15 minutes...weird and uncomfortable!! Came out to do my cryo...no privacy with just technician but for everyone to see me and starting a chat...I'm not prude but do want a bit of privacy...anyway price is $25 only and it's literally you get what you paid for. Will not be going back. Also before I stepped into unit there was a lot of grey stuff on the floor mats...something freezes it should be white not grey unless it hasn't been cleaned in a while!! read more
