I love this place, best spot for a quality, affordable massage. The staff is great, and I haven't had a massage that didn't totally relax me and have my muscles feeling better yet! It's one big dark room with fabric separators between duel massage tables. It still is a very private experience and I have never felt like it impacted my ability to relax. I usually get an hour full body, sometimes with the foot bath sometimes without. The foot bath is pretty amazing though, so I definitely recommend getting it if you haven't tried it! Walk ins are always welcome too, so I've never had to make an appointment ahead of time, I usually just show up and it's not too long if a wait before they get me back with someone. I really wanted to love Sole Hao, and their prices are pretty good too. However, I definitely would never come back again. First of all, I hated how there were just tables everywhere without any privacy screens. I think the whole point of getting a massage is to be in complete silence with some serene music playing, but all I could hear were others talking, coughing, and at one point, another customer was even snoring. It really threw me off and took me out of a calm state because I was so hyper aware of the loud snoring. The massage itself was really painful and didn't do much to target my problem areas. I had told my masseuse that I had a lot of knots, but he didn't really help untangle at all. I even felt like he did a lot of movements that were pointless and made me wonder what exactly they were supposed to be doing to my body. I personally wouldn't come back again. Today was our second visit, wow! Thank you, David, for fixing my back! Also, I apologize for not asking front receptionist name but he was very kind and accommodating. I knew I needed my shoulders and back taken care but I didn't see an option for just that. The front receptionist took his time to ask exactly what areas we wished for and said he would make it a custom. He communicated effectively to the reflexologist because I got exactly what I needed. I was in a time crunch but was able to receive 30 minute back/shoulder with a 15 minute foot. Can't wait to come back! Maybe an hour? Came out of Sole Hao as a new person! Peter really went in and got out the knots on my right shoulder. I had chills hearing and feeling my knots get released. This was my first time at Sole Hao. There are so many options for foot massages but thought I'd give this place a try with all the rave Yelp reviews. It was easy to make a reservation online and you can select if you want a male/female masseuse. They also list their package options with details of how many minutes they will focus on each area of your body. I got the 90 min massage with 45 mins focused on my back for $65 (with $5 off for Yelp check-in). A little pricey compared to some places but what isn't pricey these days? Guy at front desk was nice and organized. When he walks you to your masseuse, he asks what area needs special attention and translate that to your masseuse. Masseuses were professional and didn't talk amongst each other so you are able to really relax. Place is clean and every 2 chairs is separated by lace curtains. read more

This reflexology business is located in a cute strip shopping center near the Black Walnut restaurant. The parking lot stays full with all of the nearby traffic for businesses. I called ahead to make a same day reservation. The staff member who answered the phone was kind, courteous and informed me that the services menu on Yelp was incorrect. I have attached an updated picture of the services menu from their website. Please look at the updated services menu and prices online. When I arrived for my 8 PM appointment, I had to wait about 10 minutes before being ushered back. The set up room has about 14 reflexology tables in one room. The tables are large leather tables. Much bigger than normal reflexology tables I've seen. If you are a larger person, you will find these tables quite comfortable. The lighting and music was very nice and calming to me. The wait staff asked what pressure I would like. I replied medium. I was a bit disappointed that the reflexology was quite light. I asked for harder but not much increase. Once the head and arms portion was complete, a new person arrived to do reflexology on my feet. The reflexology was average. Nothing special. Once the feet were complete, another person arrived to do my back. It was done with a much deeper touch. Overall, a mediocre reflexology experience. Curious if three people working on you is a normal practice? Perhaps they each have a specialty I did not fully appreciate. May try this place again when I am in town. Perhaps there was something else going on behind the scenes that caused the multiple changes. read more

My sister and I decided late Friday to try our luck and see if we could get massages. I called around 8:30pm asked if they could fit us in for 60 mins massage and he said yes at 9:30. Mind you, they close at 10pm, so I asked if 60 minutes was still ok and he reassured us that it was fine. I also requested a female masseuse and he found a way to make that happen. We arrived and were quickly seen to. He accepted our Yelp check in and honored the 10% discount for us both even though my phone was acting up. He also gave me a loyalty punch card where if I get over 10 massages, I'd get a freebie. It was quiet, clean and the rooms are darkened. Everyone is in a shared space but you're not super close to the next person. Plus there are sheer drapes to add some privacy. The massage I got was awesome. I'm a massage junky and like deep pressure, but I have to be warmed up and all really picky about the technique they use. It was oure bliss with hot stones and towels to top it off !! At one point, she asked if I wanted to take my shirt off. It's not very private but we were the last ones there, so I thought what the hell. Not sure if that is normal, but if it was busy I don't think I'd be comfortable doing that. I missed her name because she dashed off to clean up and pack up for the night, so I called back the next day to ask. Hong answered and said he'd find out and call me back in 2 minutes and he actually did!! Very impressed with the level of customer service here. I'll definitely be back again to see Linda! I've come to the spa many many times for a one hour massage. They normally ask what area is my most focused area and they will work on that. However, today I walked in for my 60 minute massage and I requested my neck and shoulders and I don't like my feet massaged, she was trying to up charge me because I had certain request. This is one of the best massage places. If you like massages where they apply pressure over your clothes and a towel you will enjoy this massage. They do some oil massage as well in the full body massage option but they also do a lot of the pressure over the towel. I prefer less oil and more pressure so this is my preferred massage. The guy up front also takes the time to listen to the specific spots you would like the therapist to focus on and then they do. So if your calves need extra attention or your upper back holds more tension then you can ask to focus there and they will. A lot of places won't provide this attention to detail but they always do. I have a favorite therapist, but I've also gotten other therapists and they all do a good job. I love kind of far from this shop but I make the drive because I've never had a bad massage here. I did the 90 minutes B option and I will most certainly be back. Totally worth every penny. My whole body felt relaxed when finished. If you're used to the usual chain places, do be aware that the set up is a little different. There aren't individual rooms, but a few curtained off sections. There can be multiple people in a section at a time but you're always clothed or covered by towels. One thing I loved was that the tables you lay on are wide, low to the ground and very cushy. 10/10 would recommend. read more

My back and neck have been really tight so she worked out all the knots and cables and I feel just great. Sole Hao has a very zen atmosphere, is extremely clean and well cared for (appreciated!!) The beds were soft and comfortable unlike most massage slab tables. The environment is meant to calm and relax your tired stressed out body, and it does! The person who greeted us was friendly and professional and was able to fit us in for an appointment even though we didn't have one.
